(5) HEY JOCK raced decently from the 10-hole last time and closed nicely as the pace picked up late. He should get a better trip here and he gets the nod. (2) PRICELESS RULER trotted off the screen after the barn change, but he stole a cheap second 1/4 there then drew off. This is tougher but he is a player. (7) CORNERSTONE was pointed to the front when she ran at the start last time. She can be right in this if she behaves. (10) ISNT HE AN ANGEL steps up off a sharp score, but he picks up Jamieson; consider for exotics.

Race 2 – OSS Grassroots 2YO Colts and Geldings

(10) NATIONAL SPORT made up a ton of ground while pacing a 53 2/5 back 1/2 vs. Gold company in his debut. He fits much better here and he’ll take beating if he gets put into this race early. (8) TWIN B WATCH ME looks primed for a sharp debut effort; using. (9) BETTOR FOCUS had no problem from an outer post last time, and he is another top contender in a race where the best ones seem to be lined up outside. (4) DISNEYMAN should have more speed to offer than what he showed on the Maritimes. Tab the tote for clues on this colt.

Race 3 – Two Year Olds

(1) ALLYWAG HANOVER – a $95K Harrisburg buy – looks primed for a barn that sends them all ready; top call. (4) UNIQUE BEACH – bought for $70K at Harrisburg – has been finishing fast in his qualifiers and he should be a factor at first asking. (5) WELL ELL’s two-move 1:53 3/5 maiden score should be respected here; using. (3) ILL PLAY IT ALONE was game at the Meadows, but this is likely a tougher spot; using underneath.

Race 4 –- OSS Grassroots 2YO Colts and Geldings

(3) TABLOID WRITER passed horses as the pace accelerated in his lone qualifier which is a trait that I always like. He gets the nod. (7) CAPTIVATE HANOVER surprised at first asking for a barn that is very capable in these types of races. The secret’s out now, but he is one of the main contenders here. (1) TWIN B FRENCHTOAST was solid in his debut and he is another who could win this if provided with a decent trip. (5) THREE TRICK GAINER should improve here. He is in with an upset chance.

Race 5 – OSS Gold 2YO Colts and Geldings

(10) QUICK TOUR got going too late in his debut. He looks best here and the 10 hole should help his price. (5) BETTER TAKE IT comes out of a fast race where he was decent after starting from the worst post; using. (4) MY BETTORS DEL is worth a look dropping out of the Gold and picking up McClure. (2) GIDDY UP MAX can close late for another share.

Race 6 – Two Year Old

(7) EMOTICON HANOVER is the class here and if this should be a field that she takes care of. (9) DANCER HALL is the main threat having just taken a new life’s mark while beating Musical Rhythm. He may do here even starting from the worst post. (4) ROYAL WITCH rode a strong front-end bias to two straight wins now she jumps into the deep end here. I’ll tab her for a small share. (5) FREE WILLY HANOVER is always a good one to use underneath in the exotics.

Race 7 – OSS Gold 2YO Colts and Geldings – Late Pick 4

(3) DONTBLVMEJUSTWATCH raced great twice straight but wasn’t rewarded with a win. It should be his turn now in this field. (1) REIGNING BILLS can get in the picture here dropping out of the Golds and drawing inside. (8) USURPER was coming on quickly last time, but he ran out of racetrack. He could beat these with the right trip. (7) SIRJAMESTHEGREAT took advantage of a slow opening 1/2 to get the job done but these are tougher, and I’ll play to beat him this time.

Race 8 – NW $15K L5 or $28K L10 AE: NW $120K LT or OPT CLM $40K

(8) P L JILL is without a doubt the best in here, but she is unpredictable. I’ll roll the dice and single her in the late Pick 4. (7) WHAT CHAPTER can’t seem to get there this year – at least so far – but he should be in the mix here. (6) MAJOR MUSCLE rode a huge front-end bias to an upset win last time. I’ll use him underneath in this tougher spot. (4) EYES COOL re-qualified nicely and he should be in contention for a share.

Race 9 – OSS Grassroots 2YO Colts and Geldings

(9) SOCIAL THEORIES was bet like he should win last week - after going off at 103 to 1 in his debut and finishing well back - and he almost got the job done. I’ll give him the nod here. (7) PRESS TIME left then took a major shuffle and finished with pace. He’s in with a shot here. (1) MY LAND is another who projects to get a much better trip here; using. (5) STONEY CURTIS is worth a look dropping from the Golds and drawing well.

Race 10 – OSS Grassroots 2YO Colts and Geldings

(9) BET ON A DREAM tried the overland route when the pace was accelerating in the back 1/2 last time. He gets his nose on the gate to start here and my call to upset. (3) CENTURY GRILY had a decent opener that he can build from and he looks like a contender here. (5) POSEIDON SEELSTER is bred to be fast early and I’ll use him in this Pick 4. (7) IRISH PRINCE showed some signs late in his debut mile and he is another that could pop in this contentious finale. (2) CENTURY GIGALO should be in the hunt for at least a small share.
