Race 1

(8) PASSPORT HANOVER raced well enough last week vs. tougher that she could beat these with a slightly better trip. (3) THAT’S INCREDIBLE closed well without threatening last time and from a better post, she’s got a shot in this wide-open race. (4) FAMILY FIRST could threaten here if she’s kept closer early. (5) DOCS DARLIN is likely one of the better ones in here, but she also needs a more aggressive drive.

Race 2

(3) DANCER HALL and (1) DUNBAR HALL both broke in extremely sloppy going last week. They should rebound here. Slight nod to the former who has beaten the latter more often this year so far. (4) DREAM TOGETHER had no shot from the eight-hole in the Miss Versatility on Little Brown Jug day. She has a better chance here despite facing both genders. (5) ON A SUNNY DAY can close for a smaller share in this spot.

Race 3

(7) SLIP INTO GLIDE was a bit flat last week racing on a wet track, but he was rolling pretty good before that race. He could bounce back here at a price. (8) FOR A DREAMER was impressive winning vs. easier, but he isn’t likely to get the same soft trip here. He’s a contender, though. (6) ST JAMES GATE could win this if everything falls his way, but a smaller share is probably more likely. (3) TOUCHDOWN AS steps up off a powerful win, but in this class, he is more likely to finish on the edges.

Race 4

(1) LEVY TAYLORE comes up tagged after two sharp efforts in conditioned races and he has a big shot here. (9) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ goes to Moreau here and a big speed try is likely. (7) BIG PETES STYLE has sharp speed both early and late in his most recent win and he merits a look off that effort. (5) GREAT TUNE almost blew up the tote board last week and he can hit the ticket at a price here again.

Race 5

(6) OXFORD COMMA got inexplicably pounded down to 4-5 last week then took a big shuffle out of the race. Jamieson takes over here, so I expect immediate improvement. (5) SHE CAN PARTY races well almost every week. She should be a late presence. (2) STONEBRIDGE ENVY was a victim of several lead changes at Grand River. She could hit this ticket at a price. (9) CASIMIR RAMBLER is on a roll, but I’m not sure she gets her trip here starting from out there.

Race 6

(2) BELLA PALAZZO has raced great in both starts at Mohawk Park and a similar effort can get her a win here. (5) ODDS ON AMETHYST is obvious in this spot dropping several class levels, but I won’t take a short price on him coming off a break in stride. (4) GISELE TREELANE steps up, but she can close late for a smaller share. (6) SETANTA is another who can pass many of these and merits a look for the exotics.

Race 7

(7) COMPANY MAN just looks faster than these and I expect he will get sent on a speed mission here. (2) THINK AGAIN steps up but he has been sharp for several weeks and he should threaten here. (1) SINGHAMPTON KENNY is right there every week and he should be in the mix again. (6) NOW WHAT HANOVER gets away from the tough Lisvinnie and he can be a factor in this field.

Race 8

(1) MINOR OBSESSION and (2) SETTE DEO should fight it out again here in a race where they stand out. Slight nod to the former who goes for three straight, but using both in the late Pick 4. (5) ARVIKA has missed some time but she gets a driver change here. It’s hard to predict if she’ll go forward or backward after missing four weeks of action. (4) BLUE RIBBON GAL is always in the mix to take a share with her good early speed.

Race 9

(6) ALARM DETECTOR adds Lasix here after facing the best sophomore several times. He should beat these if he is right. (2) CATCH THE DREAM usually gets more aggressive in these classes. He should be heard from here. (7) FREE WILLY HANOVER went a big mile from the 10-hole last week and he should threaten again, at least for a board finish. (5) IL SOGNO DREAM should be a speed presence early here and he can stick around for a slice.

Race 10

(5) MAJOR MUSCLE gets Jamieson back here and they were good partners for two straight wins in September; top call. (3) WARAWEE SHIPSHAPE fits well here in a race with little form; using. (9) MARQUIS VOLO should be closing late as usual, but he may be too far back to pass them all. (7) WESMONT raced better in this class last time; consider for exotics. (4) STREAMSONG moves up off some good efforts and he is another to consider using underneath.
