Race 1
(4) GALARY GIRL is likely best in here with the big question being whether she'll stay trotting or not. (3) MELANIE G comes off several solid efforts in a row and she's the other one that I'll use to kick off the Pick 5. (2) WHIP N NEIGH NEIGH was a decent 2nd to the choice three starts back and she's not out of this, although a smaller share seems likely for her. (6) HAY DARLENE raced better last time but the top three seem faster; small share predicted for her.
Race 2
(4) NORTHEN ROYALE trotted a big back 1/2 in her debut without threatening the leaders. A better start could put her in position to win this at a square price. (7) BLUE RIBBON GAL rode a sweet trip to victory, but it's quite possible that she could get the exact same trip here. (8) ARVIKA is working her way closer to a win and she would be no surprise here. (6) MOGGY HANOVER can close late to make the ticket vs. these.
Race 3
(1) BODICEA is two seconds fastest if she repeats her most recent mile; top call. (6) JK MARDI GRAS powered home to win her latest and she probably has more speed if needed to challenge the choice; using. (2) FOOL ME AGAIN moves inside here and I have a feeling she will trip out and emerge late to hit the ticket at a price. (5) PRINCESS LAYLA has talent and license to better this placing, but her gait issues are worrisome, and I'll watch her once here.
Race 4
(2) MOST WANTED LINDY exits three quick miles and he wasn't disgraced in any of them. This race should be right in his wheelhouse; top call. (8) BELLA PALAZZO is worth a look dropping into a claimer and she should get put into the race early by Henry. (5) ESPOIR GO gets first-time McNair in a nondescript field; I'll use. (1) NEBRASKA JACK is another that's dropping into claimers who could do in this wide-open dash.
Race 5
(5) BIDFORA HUG faced better last time and motored home in 27 flat. This is a field she should handle. (7) KAOTIC was solid in her Mohawk debut and she's the most likely opposition to the choice here. (2) SPORTS ICON can improve here with the drop back to face maidens; consider for exotics. (1) WINDSONG OLYMPIA figures to sit a trip and stay for another smaller share.
Race 6
(2) PURE SUNSHINE looks as good as any here coming of a sharp win at Tioga and moving into the Moore barn; top call. (3) RONS EOM is hard to love with zero exacta placings in 19 starts, but he's been facing better than these and could wake up in this spot. (7) WESTSLUCKY TERROR ships back into town in good form and he can be right there vs. these if he can overcome his post. (6) IDOLIZE has a good record this year and it wouldn't take much for him to hit the Super here.
Race 7
(3) DONATO LANE shoots for four straight in a spot where he might control things once again. He gets the nod over (4) STORMONT ROYALTY who beat non-winners of three last time, now she moves inside. She should be a big threat here. (8) SPECTRE was held together down the lane last time to break his maiden, but he looked like he could roll into a break if pressured. I'll tread lightly here this time with the step up in class. (2) COLLATERAL BEAUTY interestingly performs best in OSS Gold races, so I'm not sure how to rate her in this spot.
Race 8
(7) TEQUILA PARTY raced well at huge odds last time and while the price will drop here, she's in with a good chance vs. these. (9) SUNSHINE INN is one of the best ones on paper, but she has missed five weeks and gets the worst post; your call. (3) SWEET WESTERN - like many Steacy trainees - could wake up without warning here; consider for exotics. (5) CAROUSEL has faced some good ones this summer and she should contend here for at least a slice if she stays flat.
Race 9
(4) SORCERESS SEELSTER just finished third to the top two sophomore trotting fillies on the continent. She shouldn't have any trouble taking care of business here. (8) MAGICAL GLIDER got Christoforou back last week and she does best with him at the controls. She can offer some value for the exotics here. (3) STORMONT CHARLOTTE should be a speed threat if she stays flat and she can stick around for a share. (1) ALEXUS EH has gone off form, but she's capable of making the Super vs. these if she behaves this time.
Race 10
(8) HOPES SOLO has really turned it around in her last two and she has looked good doing it. A threepeat looms here. (4) MISS ADAM T's race two back puts her right there if she can recapture that form; using. (2) MS MILLER is another who broke last time who figures to get a piece of this if she can stay flat. (6) POWER AND GRACE looks best of the rest and she may go better on the big track.
Race 11
(8) AMERICAN MUSIC was impressive grinding his way to victory last time; call to repeat. (7) DRAMATIC POINT adds Lasix and he could take these a long way; using. (4) SOUTHWIND MOROCCAN was motoring late last time and he is a contender here, but he could get overbet and note he has only one win in 17 tries. (3) UNPRECEDENTED was a decent 2nd to the chalk and he can sit a trip then take a share here. (2) HAL N SAMMY is another who can follow along and stay for a slice vs. these.
