(6) RHYTHM IN MOTION faces much easier here and he should be tough in this spot. (5) LOBEL BRUISER was used up early last time and he can win this if he works out a better trip. (8) SIDE HILL GOUGER took huge action at the windows last time, but he stopped late in the mile. If you like him again here, you’ll get a much better price. (3) COPPER showed a bit of late interest last time and now he gets McClure. He may sneak onto the Tri or Super.
Race 2 – ONTARIO SIRES STAKES - GRASSROOTS – 3YO Colts and Geldings
(2) JUDGE KEN races best in these Grassroots races and I’ll give him the nod here despite him missing some time since his last start, which was a Grassroots win. (8) MAGICAL JOURNEY is in top form and he should contend. His price will likely be decent starting from out there, too. (7) LIFETIME ROYALTY hasn’t won yet this year, but he was racing well before he broke in a Grand Circuit race last time; using. (4) WINDSONG PIONEER should get a decent trip here and contend for a share.
Race 3 – CLM HDCP $12,000 TO $15,000
(4) OCEANVIEW MAGNUM – winner of 43% of his starts this year – comes off a sharp effort and he should get a solid early pace to stalk; slight nod. (7) DOVUTO HANOVER will be a front-end threat getting Roy back to drive here; using. (6) STELIOS is another who is sure to be put into action early racing off the Shepherd claim here. He is another live Pick 5 option. (5) REAL WICKED is always a good one to use underneath.
Race 4 – Two and Three Year Old Fillies NW1 or $7,500LT - **$50K GTD Pick 4***
(2) PASSION STRUCK moves inside, gets McNair and adds Lasix here; top call. (7) BETSEA got hammered at the windows as expected last week, but trip and pace went against her. She remains a viable option. (5) ANTHEM SEELSTER raced decently vs. tougher last time and she is another who can win this contentious dash. (3) OKA should be in the mix here coming off a nice effort.
Race 5 – 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M 3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000 LT)
(6) ACE BI has won here before at a price with Moore driving; angle play in a race with no standouts. (1) NORTHERN ROYALE is in solid form now and she should be right there vs. these. (9) CORNERSTONE was overmatched in Grand Circuit company last time. She has a much better shot here and her price should be good. (5) TOMMI CANU HEAR ME finished well last time despite being well back. She could crash the Tri or Super at a price.
Race 6 – ONTARIO SIRED 3 YO Colts and Geldings
(2) PRICELESS RULER goes for trainer Budd here after almost winning one of these races three starts back and she should get an aggressive drive from Henry; top call. (6) RAISING ROYALTY has won half his starts this year now he picks up driver McClure for this; using. (9) MEEAS DREAM comes off a sharp effort and he is worth a look at a price for the Pick 4.
Race 7 – NW $3,350 L5 or $7,800 L10
(7) OFFICER JONES gets to drop to the bottom conditioned level here and notice he was a winner six starts back one level higher. Jamieson should be rolling him early. (2) COOL ROCK was second to the choice in the aforementioned win and he should be right there again. (1) BEACHIN LINDY beat easier at Flamboro and drawing inside he merits a look for the exotics. (5) BETTORS WESTERN can close for a small share here.
Race 8 – ONTARIO SIRES STAKES – GRASSROOTS – 3YO Colts and Geldings
(7) ROYALE ELITE had a perfect tightener for this Grassroots race last time, and he should get put into action earlier this time; slight nod. (3) SOUTHWIND FROST was a winner at 3 to 5 in one of these races two starts back and he will be formidable here. (1) A ROYAL LINE races well for Henry and he figures to contend racing from close range. (4) GOLD EDITION almost won one of these here two starts back before racing okay vs. older in the top class at Flamboro; upset chance.
Race 9 – CLM HDCP $12,000 to $15,000 for NW $75,000 LT
(5) BRANDON HANOVER comes back quickly after winning Monday night. I’ll stick with him while he’s hot. (6) MACHO POLO should be a big threat dropping into a claimer here; using. (1) CROSS MY MIND drops back into a claimer and he’s worth a look. (4) YOUNG DRUNK PUNK makes his third start in a week and if he stays flat here, he could take a small share.
Race 10 – NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10
(5) MYSTICAL MISSION gets a big driver change here after getting a brutal trip last time and he gets a slight nod in a tough race. (6) OCEANVIEW DEB was raced more aggressively here last time and she is going to pop one of these weeks. (1) CANTABERNET can’t seem to seal the deal on a win this season. I’ll use him underneath again. (8) KENDRAS COCO should blast for position early and get a small share. (2) STRENGTH OFA WOMAN should sit a good trip and maybe crack the Super or High 5 at a price.
