(4) REMEMBERING SHORTY had a rough trip in a fast race last time. He should go much better here. (5) PLAY THE PONIES made two moves in a good effort and he is worth a look here for the Pick 5. (1) USURPER has improving form and he is another contender in a race where there are a few in with a chance. (7) ACES ROCK tripped-out to finish 2nd last time; consider using underneath.

Race 2 – Pure Ivory – 2nd Leg – 2YO Fillies

(3) WHOSE BLUES has done nothing wrong to this point and she will take beating at a short price again. (7) ALYVIA DEO got the worst of it last time in a long first-over grind. She could add some value to the Exacta here. (9) PANEM broke at the start of the Doherty Final and lost all hope. She should contend if she behaves this time. (5) SPIRIT OF DEO is also capable of better with an improved trip; using underneath.

Race 3 – OSS Grassroots 2YO Colts and Geldings

(7) DONTBLVMEJUSTWATCH lands in a good spot here to take another Grassroots win and he will likely battle it out with the hot (2) DELIGHTFUL TERROR for the win. I’ll use both in this Pick 5. (1) NIGHT WATCHMAN could sit a great trip here and he has upset potential. (4) WATCH ME NEIGH can close and pass a few of these to take a share.

Race 4 – OSS Grassroots 2YO Colts and Geldings – $50K GTD Pick 4

(2) POSEIDON SEELSTER was flying last time in a perfect tightener for this Grassroots race. Notice he is 1 for 1 in these events. (6) DAY DELIGHT will certainly appreciate getting away from monster Tall Dark Stranger, but the choice is no easy out. This should come down to these two deciding it. (1) THREE TRICK GAINER can sit a good trip here and come on late to make it into the Tri. (9) NIGHT DELIGHT brings decent form north and is worth a look for the Super at a price.

Race 5 – OSS Grassroots 2YO Colts and Geldings

(3) CAPTIVATE HANOVER has been kept sharp in overnights no doubt with an eye on this Grassroots leg. You need only look at his kickers to know he’s sharp. (6) BEE TWO BEE dips a hoof into the deep end here, but he is too sharp to ignore, and he is bred to be at least this good; using. (4) WILSONS VINNER had an impossible trip last time. His debut Grassroots race makes him a contender at a price here. (7) MISSION BAY has improving form and he can be along late for a share here.

Race 6 – Define The World – 2nd Leg – 2YO

(8) NYLANDER tasted defeat to a good colt last time, but he looks best here, and he gets top call. (7) THREEFIFTYTWO can be right there vs. these if he stays flat this time. (2) CROSSFIT MOUSE and (3) SEBASTIAN RAY are two more that are capable of contending for a board finish if they can avoid gait issues this time.

Race 7 – 2 Year Olds – Pick 4

(6) FORCE N FURY had an impossible trip against what could be the best rookie colt pacer on the continent last time, and he holds a recency edge on likely odds-on choice (3) ROCKIN THE ACES. I’ll call the former for the mild upset and use both in the Pick 4. (1) LINUS improved sharply last time and he may get a nice following trip here; exotics factor. (7) ESAI HANOVER comes out of the same race as the choice and he is worth a look for the bottom of the Tri and Super here.

Race 8 – 2YO Fillies NW $15,000 LT

(5) SO DELIGHTFUL seemed to lack room at critical points in the lane last week. She can beat these with a decent trip. (2) MARTINIQUE BEACH will be favored off her recent stakes tries and she’s the one to beat. (4) WATCH MY SPEED was sharp in dropping several seconds in her Mohawk Park debut and further improvement here wouldn’t be a shock. (6) HIT BY A BUS was chased down by a live rival last week but it was still a good effort and she’s in the mix here.

Race 9 – OSS Grassroots 2YO Colts and Geldings

(4) QUICK TOUR closed well from a tough spot in a perfect tightener for this Grassroots race and he gets the nod over (5) BETTER B SWIFT, who is sure to take heavy action dropping out of the Battle of Waterloo Final. (3) MY BETTORS DEL is faster than his Quebec lines show, and he could provide a challenge to the choices here. (8) LOUS DELIGHT comes in off a perfect trip win, which isn’t likely to be repeated here; small share predicted.

Race 10 – 4YO and Younger NW 2 or $26,000

(6) VELOCITY POPROCKS is on a roll that has a good chance of continuing vs. these; top call. (1) LYONS PEGASUS adds Lasix, goes for Auciello and he closed in 25 3/5 prepping for this. He should be a big threat. (2) CORTEZ THE KILLER will likely sit another good trip here and come on late for a share. (9) WHAT UP MO had an impossible trip last time, but post does him no favors here; small share predicted. (8) PREMIER ROCKSTAR is capable of landing in the High-5 if he gets a decent trip.
