(3) KENDALLS COUSIN – as suggested in her name – is related to local Open mare Kendall Seelster and she showed enough speed in the final 3/4 of her Hawthorne qualifier to make her competitive here on debut. (9) TRIZZLE TRAZZLE tired off her front-end efforts in her opener but she has some appeal for the exotics here at a price. Race 2 – 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7K LT (4) THE GUNSLINGER drew an impossible post twice at Georgian. He gets hot driver Filion here and he could wake up in this spot. (6) FRESHETTE HANOVER is already a two-time winner and an obvious threat here if she can stay flat. (2) JOHNNYS REVENGE has the best recent form and that counts for something; using. (1) BABY MAKER HANOVER also has decent form and he can hit the ticket here. Race 3 – OSS Gold 3YO Fillies (7) BRIGHT EYES M has been solid all year so far and Byron likely sends her right down the road here. (4) HP TITANIA RUNNER came to play last time and if she can keep her gait issues at bay, she should be the main rival to the choice. (1) MERCEDES TALMA has to be worth a look here coming off two sub-1:55 miles. (3) ANGELIC SPEED is a good one to use on the bottom of Tris and Supers. Race 4 – OSS Grassroots 2YO Fillies - $50K GTD Pick 4 (3) SO DELIGHTFUL rolled up in the lane for a nice debut win and she is one of a few that look like they can take this contentious dash; slight nod. (8) BEACH SPORTS rolled by some sleepy leaders and powered away to a sharp win under a heady McNair drive. She has already shown she can handle an outer post; using. (2) COQUI COQUI was in an impossible spot last time. She should be closer early here and that gives her a chance. (1) SATONITE JUKEBOX was game in defeat but the winner was loaded and rolled by them all. She’s not out of this. Race 5 – OSS Gold 2YO Fillies (5) SOUTHWIND BAYOU closed well into a rapidly-accelerating pace in her debut and she gets top call here off that nice effort. (9) GOT POWER was impressive last week and she will be the one to beat here. (6) WIGGLE DELIGHT is worth a look for the exotics dropping out of the Golds. (3) PANERAI can go better here having had a race over the track; consider for exotics. Race 6 – OSS Grassroots 2YO Fillies (1) ISLA SEELSTER was good in her debut, just too far back. She can step up and win this with a better start. (6) PREEMINENCE closed well while the pace was picking up which was encouraging, and I’ll use her in this Pick 4. (9) HIGHGLAND SALSA flew home last time. Don’t be surprised if McClure rolls out of there at the start this time. (2) SOUTHWIND MYRTLE is one that I think is capable of better and she could be a good price play here. Race 7 – OSS Gold 2YO Fillies – Late Pick 4 (3) FIORELLA closed nicely in her debut. She looks best in here and I suspect Filion will give her a more aggressive steer this time. (1) MYSTIC SHADOW was out of position but did pace a fast kicker. Most of this barn’s stock have been performing well this spring and this filly could wake up here with a big try. (4) KEEP WATCHING is by a hot sire and she got hammered at the windows but showed little for her debut; another chance? (7) SUNSHINE HALL tried to close into the fastest part of the race to no avail. She could upset with the right trip here. Race 8 – OSS Gold 3YO Fillies (2) HAVEONEFORME has been the leader of this division all year and this doesn’t look like a tough spot. She is the Late Pick 4 single but will be a short price. (6) TEDDYS LITTLEANGEL rode soft fractions to a Gold win last time. The choice likely won’t allow that here, but she is an Exacta factor. (3) SAMS ARSENAL and (1) HP BRUXELLES are both good ones to use on the bottom of Tris and Supers in this spot. Race 9 – OSS Grassroots 2YO Fillies (6) MS BRAMPTON BEAST is one of two fillies dropping from the Golds to Grassroots here and she should be right there vs. these. (1) ROSE RUN VICTORY also drops, and her 27-flat kickers should play well here. (9) KAT was closing best at a long gone winner last time and she could pop here with the right trip. (8) BETTORBEASECRET has three thirds in three tries and she figures to land on the edges again here. Race 10 – 4YO and Younger NW2 or $25K LT (3) PHILS SUN was used very hard early last week and hung in decently considering. He may get a breather here which could be all he needs. (2) BETTER UP moves inside and he is another who should get an easier trip here; using. (6) PRINCE ADAIR made two moves in a quick mile. He’s not out of this but he could get roughed up again here. (7) JOE SIX PACK adds Lasix and exits a fast race; consider for exotics. (8) QUICKSTAR BLUECHIP was relentless last time, but the late pace slowing helped. I see him as a fringe player in this much tougher race.
