Race 1
(5) SHARKS SUMMRSHADY was on the lead when the lights went out last week and she raced well to hang in there for second. She looks like she has found a field that she can handle here; 21st time's the charm? (6) WINDSONG OLYMPIA is worth a look making her second start being well-related and having brought $54K at the London Select sale. (4) HEY SWEETIE is another who has had multiple chances and can't convert, but she should get a piece of this. (2) BIDFORA HUG was just behind the choice last week and she should take a slice here off another following trip.
Race 2
(2) TUSCANS MEMORY returns to the level he was claimed at and adds McNair here; top call. (4) AVUNCULAR sits the pocket virtually every race then loses ground in the stretch in most of them, but he appears to be a threat here. (3) APLOMB HANOVER appears to be coming around for trainer Henriksen; using. (1) HIGH BID should be closing for a share vs. this group.
Race 3
(8) SUNSHINES FINEST has uncorked sizzling late rallies in his two preps for this OSS Gold race but he was way too far back. With $68K on the line here, you have to think he'll be put into the race. (10) STAG PARTY had the looks of a good one in his debut and he will likely go favored here despite drawing the worst post. He's the one to beat. (6) BETTORS WISH impressed in his debut but he will need more to beat the top two here. (1) PRESTIGE SEELSTER can trip out again here and rally for a slice.
Race 4
(8) MISTER MAGIC was good racing in the OSS Gold now returns to the conditioned ranks with a decent chance to score here. (3) SORCERESS SEELSTER is an obvious fit, but notice how she was driven on May 28 in this class; mixed signals. (9) STORMONT CHEF is obviously capable, but it's hard to predict what kind of trip she'll get from out there. (4) P L KETCHUP adds Lasix for his season debut and he could crash the exotics at a price.
Race 5
(6) PLAY TIMES OVER - full-brother to recent Grand Circuit winner Shower Play - looks ready to roll at first asking for the Teagues; top call. (9) BRONX SEELSTER flew home to be 2nd to a good one, but the post does him no favors here. He may be closing too late. (3) TWIN B WATCHING had a good tightener for this stakes debut and he's in the mix here. (1) MAINTENANCE MAN suffered interference twice in his debut and was still pacing strong at the wire. Toss him on the bottom of Tri and Super bets.
Race 6
This race has upset written all over it, so I'll side with (2) THE MAGIC NUMBER hoping that Zeron has him in striking range at the 3/4 pole. (10) SOS MEZMERIZE has the best form, but he was also beat by a 3/5 from a better post last time; your call. (8) BIGBOY ROSCO raced tough last week and he merits inclusion here. (9) Y C BROADWAY had a decent qualifier and this isn't the toughest spot to debut. He may sneak into the exotics at a price.
Race 7
(4) BETTER EARL paced a 27-flat third 1/4 while uncovered in his debut then a 27 4/5 kicker that got him only sixth in a race that had no early pace at all. He can rebound at a price here if he can work out a better trip. (2) CAVIART ROCKLAND was sharp in his June 30th qualifier and he may go chalk here off that mile; using. (3) KEYSTONE PRESTIGE - stablemate of the choice - raced well in his debut and he's another that's in with a good chance. (8) SPORTS CHARM kicked home in 26-flat despite being out of contention. You have to think Roy will have him closer early in this stakes tilt.
Race 8
(5) EX HANOVER was flying late last time but the winner was long gone. From a better post here, I'll gamble that she gets put into this race earlier. (8) COLLATERAL BEAUTY raced well to be second to a heavy chalk that shipped in with great form. She is a player here. (3) LADY MACBETH beat easier but she did it the hard way. She's not out of this despite moving up. (1) EXS AND OHS likely takes a slice here, as she does most often.
Race 9
(3) DRAMATIC POINT is worth a stab here coming off a troubled trip vs. better in his season opener. (4) THUNDER SOME WHERE exits the same race and he is sure to be more prominent vs. these. (2) BARN ONE keeps coming close and he should be a threat on or near the lead here. (5) ROCKABILLY CHARM is on a good roll out of town and picks up a driver that is having a good meet; consider for exotics.
Race 10
(2) FOR THE RECORD made an aggressive move at the right time to win last week. Drawing inside here gives her a decent chance at a repeat. I'll give her a slight nod over (3) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP, who was a victim of trip last week and is sure to provide a stiff challenge here. (1) CARDIFF just missed in a good effort and she should contend here again. (5) QUINTS DREAM looked great winning off the shelf vs. easier. Her price should be good again; consider for exotics. (8) CAMPASSION has been racing against better and she can enter contention here although a small share is likely for her in this spot.
