(9) SHESA SWEETHEART need only repeat her mile from her July 2nd qualifier to have a big shot here. (6) NO WINE FOR YOU is the only other horse to show a sub-1:57 mile on the page. I’ll use her to complete the exacta. (5) CLOTHIER HANOVER is worth a look entering the Baillargeon barn here. (8) PEACE ROSE can show early speed and hang around for a share.

Race 2 – OSS Gold – 2YO Fillies

(6) INTENSE JUSTICE impressed with a professional-looking win first time out; call to repeat. (5) WARAWEE VICKY has been impressive, too, and she may prove to be a tough target to catch. (4) ROCKADERO – 1/2 to $660K earner Windsong Geant – overcame breaking issues in her most recent qualifier to come back on and win. It seems obvious that she has talent and she could strike here if she behaves. (3) ENJOYIN MY LIFE is worth a look for the exotics being sent out by a barn that has been doing well so far with their rookies.

Race 3 – OSS Gold – 2YO Fillies

(5) MASSIVE FLIRT was dominant in her debut and she will take beating here at what is likely to be a very short price. (1) SHEER ENERGY ships in off two nice qualifying wins and trainer Ducharme unleashed rookie trotting colt Threefiftytwo to an impressive Gold win here last week. I’ll use this one in the Pick 5. (4) INSTANT KARMA qualified well and is worth a look for the exotics. (8) SHE STARTED IT has looked good training down and she’s another who can make it onto the Super ticket at first asking.

Race 4 –- 5YO and Younger NW 2 or $25K - $50K GTD Pick 4

(2) SILVER BEAST raced super last week but he was nailed by an improving colt who swept by late. A similar effort should make him tough here. (3) WHAT UP MO faces tougher here, but he was impressive breaking his maiden last week and I’ll use him here. (9) BETTER UP raced well vs. a top colt last week in the Gold and if he gets put into this race he can win. (6) OK KUDO is in solid form, but I prefer to use him underneath.

Race 5 – Ontario Sired 3YO Grassroots Starters in 2019 NW $19K in 2019.

(2) PRESTIGE SEELSTER is showing the signs lately that he’s ready to take his second win and post relief will help here; top call. (3) CARLISIMO similarly has made sharp improvement recently and he should be right there vs. these. (1) CHEDDAR BAY responded to the driver change to McClure and he’s not out of this. (4) ARCANE SEELSTER was better last week and if he can get a breather here he can last a lot longer of the engine.

Race 6 – OSS Gold 2YO Fillies

(3) BRAMASOLE HANOVER is bred to be very good and her even qualifier lines likely are not a true indication of what she can really do; top call. (4) VALIDATION had a start and it was a good effort. Sharp improvement here wouldn’t be a shock. (9) FOX VALLEY SHAZAM has shown some talent in her training and qualifiers but she has been steppy in spots. Check her out on the track. (10) MAG N ROSES is worth a look for the exotics from out there at a price.

Race 7 – 5YO and Younger NW2 or $25K – Late Pick 4

(1) PHILS SUN was a good second to a colt that has now ripped off nine straight wins this year. If he can repeat that mile here his rivals are likely racing for second. (7) CRUISE CAPTAIN was much better last week, and he should contend for a good share here. (9) WINDSUN RICKY just took a new life’s mark, but the trip was a bit lucky and he will need some things to fall his way from out there. (2) LIFETIME DELIGHT can sneak onto the Tri or Super ticket at a price off a good following trip.

Race 8 – 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20K (F&M $25K) LT

(1) STEUBEN HANOVER took lots of action last time and he raced very well off the shelf. He looks like he’s sitting on a win and I’ll single him in this late Pick 4. (6) ANGRY EYES raced well in a quick mile last time, but she couldn’t reach the winner. I’ll use her underneath here. (8) SOUTHWIND FROST is quirky but capable but post does him no favors here; smaller share predicted. (2) SETTE DEO can share if she can manage to stay flat for the whole mile.

Race 9 – CLM HDCP $8K to $12K

(6) WHO SAID NOT TO drops back to the level he was claimed at two starts back and he should be very tough in here and likely get taken at the claim box; top call. (3) WOO SHARK rode a perfect drive and trip to victory last week. The same exact scenario has a decent chance of playing out here, so I’ll use him in the late Pick 4. (8) ROLL WITH HOWIE will be passing horses late; using underneath. (1) BRICKMAN is likely to sit an inside following trip here then emerge late to take a slice.

Race 10 – 4YO and Younger NW1 or $9K

(7) QUICKSTAR BLUE CHIP made a nice late move last time but the winner was long gone. He should get more aggressive here in his second start off the shelf. (10) BERNIE finished just behind the choice in a decent effort. He could provide some Pick 4 value from out there. (5) MARCUS SEELSTER finished ahead of the top two, but he had the best trip. I’ll use him underneath. (9) P L MCCRACKEN faces easier here and he should wake up with a much better effort. (3) AMERICAN SONIC is worth a look for the exotics off the barn change.
