Race 1 – 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7K LT
(3) FINGALS WAVE had an impossible trip from the 10-hole last time yet he still trotted a 27 2/5 kicker. Moving inside he will take plenty of action here and he gets my nod. (5) LOVE WARRIOR moves into the hot Baillargeon barn and she qualified well and is worth a long look in this spot. (6) GRIMMIE HANOVER is making a good living in the Pennsylvania Sires Stakes and in this spot, she may finally break through for her maiden win. (9) WINDSONG PATRIOT faces much easier here and you could land on worse longshots on this card.
Race 2 – Clm $15K for NW $40K LT
This race almost surely will boil down to (2) STATE OF PLAY and (7) STELIOS who seem to lay over this group off their May 30th race. A slight nod goes to the former due to post position, but both should be used in the Pick 5. (5) HERCULE J M was a distant third to these two last time and he can complete this Tri, too. (3) CAMSKING should improve exiting a tough City of London Final but the top two here are no easy marks.
Race 3 – 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M 3) or $20K LT
(9) LIFETIME ROYALTY was flying at the end of the mile last time and hopefully his price will be decent starting from post 9; slight nod. (6) SHAMROCK SHAKER raced very tough to just miss. She could be the one to beat here. (3) ANGRY EYES should go better here and avoid a rough trip; using. (4) CHARMBO GOLDEN raced much better last week and she is one to consider for the exotics.
Race 4 – 4YO and Younger NW 1 or $8,700 LT
(4) JOE MCDUDE has faced several tough ones in his past two starts. He has a big shot here in a much easier spot. (5) TIME TO DANCE makes his third start out of the Boyd barn and finally draws decently. I’ll use him at a price. (6) TOMORROWS HEADLINE raced tough on the engine last week and he could take this group a long way, too; using underneath. (3) OK KUDO can tag along and take another share here.
Race 5 – Clm Hdcp $15K to $18K for NW $76K LT
(4) FAMILY SPORTS was way out of position last week and he couldn’t close on the leaders. His race two back gives you an idea of what he can do when in range; top call. (10) L WEATHER B is so consistent at this class that he is a threat even from out there. (3) LEADER TONIGHT almost bottomed out the field last week. A breather here would make him dangerous. (6) MY TEEN IDOL drops a class and he could wake up big-time here; using.
Race 6 - NW 3 (F+M 5) or $50K LT
(2) GRACEFUL beat Okeanos easily and that rival came back to win next out. This filly gets the call to threepeat here. (1) SORCERESS SEELSTER has never lacked for talent, but her gait issues are always lurking and post one may not be best for her. She can win this, but I won't take a short price. (7) HIGHLAND DYNAMITE was motoring at the end of her 2019 debut and she should be a factor here; using in the Pick 4. (8) WIKI HANOVER is always a good one to use on the bottom of Tris and Supers
Race 7 – F&M 4YO and Younger NW 1 or $7K
(8) LUS ILLUSION is from a prolific dam who has produced two $2.7 million earners (Rock N Roll Heaven and Clear Vision). Her May 31 qualifier may have her ready for a winning debut effort. (6) DRESS TO THE NINES produced a good late kick for Roy last time and that driver sticks here; using. (5) PASSPORT HANOVER had some late pace to offer last time and she is another who could pop here with the right trip. (3) SOUTHWIND PRIMA will be closing again, but she tends to get too far back.
Race 8 - CLM Hdcp $12K-$15K
(7) BATTING STATS drops to a likely spot here and Drury should be sending; top call. (5) LUCYS MAN fits well here and he could get a great trip racing near the front; using. (2) VERO BI AMORE is always capable in this class, but his frequent gait issues make him hard to love at a short price; your call. (6) DOMINUM DEO got on a bit of a roll at Flamboro but a smaller share is likely vs. these.
Race 9 - 4YO and Younger NW $20,500 LT
(7) MACHPAPERSCISSORS was put into action early last week and he made several moves to get the win. He looks good to repeat here. (8) WINDSUN RICKY beat the choice in his most recent start and he is likely to be the main threat again. (3) GRAND POOBAH is consistently around the money and he should hit the board again vs. these. (5) RAYS KREDIT has some longshot appeal facing easier here; consider for the exotics.
Race 10 - 4YO and Younger NW 2 or $25K LT
(6) DREAMFAIR TECATE was live last week, he just came up against a couple of rivals that were too tough. I'll stick with him here. (4) MOONSHINE KISSES is viable in this spot if he can stay pacing this time. (2) STONEBRIDGE SURF is right there every week. He's hard to leave off Pick 4 tickets. (9) HEAD TO THE BEACH moves outside here so I am inclined to sue him underneath. (5) SPORTS CHARM is another who regularly hits the ticket who merits High 5 inclusion.
