Race 1
(9) TRAVEL WINNER lands in a spot with several win-shy types for his sophomore debut having never faced straight maidens before. I'll stab with him here. (8) SOUTHWIND SPARTAN keeps coming close and he should graduate soon. (7) BRYDOWN HOUSTON looked a winner last time in the lane, but he couldn't close the deal. He may never get a better chance than he had there. (3) HAY DARLENE figures to take another slice here.
Race 2
(5) SUNNY DEE simply meets another field that she should beat here; top call. (1) MORNING HAS BROKEN didn't look pretty doing it, but she got the job done last time and she should round out the exacta here. (2) SEA SHADOWS can hang around for a slice again in this spot. (4) VANITY GIRL looks the best of the rest.
Race 3
This is a tough race with little form. I'll side with (4) HETTIES COMMANDER, who should get put into play earlier by Cullen this time. (7) ALERT HANOVER comes off a win in this class and that qualifies him as a contender in this spot. (6) CANTABERNET has enough speed to contend vs. these, but can he stay flat? (1) CLASS ME NICE can lay close to the lead and stick around for a small share.
Race 4
(6) JENKINS CREEK has a history of winning for Moreau first time off the claim; top call. (2) CASIMIR OVERDRIVE is sharp shooting for three in a row and is the obvious alternative to the choice. (4) DARCEE N raced better last time on Lasix, but he never looked like a winner and he now has a streak of more than 60 races in a row without a win. (3) REAL WICKED raced better last time and he should be good for a small share here.
Race 5
(2) BIG BULLY looks good to graduate here following a solid debut. (5) CRAZY LUKE DUKE provided cover for the choice and hung in there down the lane; using. (4) ASCENDANT is worth a look for the exotics moving in a few posts here. (9) SMART THINKING could wake up with a better effort dropping out of the Snowshoe series; consider for exotics.
Race 6
(9) CHEYENNE FORD left, took a shuffle and got claimed. He gets a slight nod racing out of the Shepherd barn. (2) REGIL TIGER can be much closer if he avoids a first up trip this time. (10) MACKTWOWILLDEW is a rare 10 horse in with a good chance; using. (5) LAUTNER SEELSTER will be passing a few of these late; using underneath.
Race 7
(5) R U TALKIN looked like he was in an impossible spot at the 3/4 pole last week and he managed to stickhandle through the field to win again. A fourpeat looms here. (4) AREYOUKIDINME CABBIE was picked off right on the money by the choice but he is sharp and can take advantage if the choice falters here. (9) THISISHOWWEDOIT showed some talent last year and he could be ready for a good try based on the final 1/4 he paced in his qualifier; using underneath. (2) GOODERTHANGOUDA stayed in and got lucky in the lane in his debut. These are much tougher; small share predicted.
Race 8
(9) SPORTJET RAY got herself in a traffic jam in the final 1/4 last week and she would have been much closer with a clean trip. I'll stick with her at a price here. (7) REDHOT N SPORTY keeps coming close and she could graduate if she got put into the race earlier. (4) MACHARITA is a good one to use underneath every week. (3) MAGNOLIA SEELSTER had a decent debut and she can take another share here.
Race 9
(4) BIGBOY ROSCO keeps pacing solid final quarters and that will serve him well here. (6) Y C BROADWAY may have needed one coming off a break. He can improve off that effort. (2) GOLD EDITION moves in several posts and he can contend for at least a share here. (1) MAGICS LUCKY CHARM is always around the money, but she is still stuck on one win; small share predicted again.
Race 10
(6) LETS HAVE ANOTHER was an impressive debut winner and if he brings something close to that same effort here, a repeat is very possible. (7) PANTHER SEELSTER tried a rallying style and it didn't work in the Snowshoe series final. Speed is likely here. (1) SPEED TO MARKET has some miles down south that make him a contender for at least a share here. (4) DREAMFAIR CHARRO should wake up with a better effort in this company; using underneath.
Race 11
(4) BETTORS WESTERN is in a good spot here to make his first start for trainer Gallucci and he gets the nod. (1) INTRIGUED AGAIN tipped his hand with a 27-flat kicker in his latest and he can contend here. (3) THROWNOUTOFBETTER had an improved race last time and he can contend for a smaller share here. (7) SHADOW MARGEAUX has seen better days, but his best effort would crush these. I'll still use him only underneath until I see more from him. (8) VALIDUS DEO races best for Roy and he has upset possibilities in this spot.
