(2) JOANI TREELANE's race last week is by far the best and fastest performance on the program page and she should be tough to beat as chalk to kick off this Pick 5. (10) FLEETWOOD has shown good late kick, but he has been too far back. Maybe he can start closer leaving from the second-tier here. (6) PERISTERA finished third where the choice was second but she was 3 1/2 lengths behind that rival. I'll use her underneath. (3) DREAM WORLD had a decent enough debut to suggest she can share here.

Race 2- VALEDICTORY - 1ST Leg - 3YO COLTS AND GELDINGS

(6) WINDSUN RICKY comes off a top effort - winning while racing first-up from the 9-hole - and he will be tough to beat here starting from a better post. (3) LYONS PEGASUS couldn't go with the choice late, but he has maintained his excellent form and he is the main danger. (8) FRIDAY NIGHT BLUES missed more than six weeks between starts last time and now he returns much quicker. He's worth a look for the Tri and Super at a big price. (1) CONBOYVILLE hasn't missed the exacta in nine 2019 starts but this is a big test. I'll use him underneath.

Race 3 - NIAGARA - 1st Leg - 3YO FILLIES

(4) ERIKAS SHADOW was resolute last week, getting up by the shortest nose right on the wire; call to repeat. (2) SOUTHWIND RAPUNZEL ships in and goes for Gallucci, which is always a potent angle; using. (1) DREAMFAIR ZENFIRE is in solid form and her race two back here was quite good. She is another in with a chance. (6) CRANBERRY BRIE has a good record this year and she can land a share in this short field.

Race 4 - CLM HDCP $12,000 to $15,000 - GTD $50,000 Pick 4

(7) MASS BALANCE dropped three seconds in his first start off the claim and he could do here at a price. (9) ALPHA SEELSTER was an easy winner at this level and he is hard to leave out here, but be mindful that post 9 continues to yield a very low percentage of winners. (6) SOMBRE is still stuck on one win but his last effort was decent; can hit the board here. (5) HOPES SOLO can be tough when she stays flat, but her gait issues are frequent, so demand a price.

Race 5 - VALEDICTORY - 1ST Leg - 3YO COLTS AND GELDINGS

(8) VIRGIN STORM exits several fast races at the Meadowlands, and he seems to stack up well here; top call. (4) LEGION SEELSTER showed some serious late speed last time and he should be the one to fend off here. (5) MC PAT had a tightener for this vs. salty older foes last week. He could provide some exotics value here. (9) SILVER BEAST showed some ability earlier in the year, but he may need one starting from the worst post here. Tab him for the next leg of the series.

Race 6 - 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M$25,000) LT

(6) ZIG ZAG had a nice comeback race where he displayed a good late kick and he offers a likely price option over (5) STORMONT RARE, who is the fastest horse on paper but has missed close to a month. I'll use both in the Pick 4, however. (9) SHOTGUN PREACHER exits a tough race and he may come flying late for a share at a price in this spot. (8) ARVIKA should be forwardly placed early and she can hang around for a slice.

Race 7 - CLM $15,000 for NW $69,000 LT

(2) MOSSIES ART gets Drury back here and he lands in a spot where he could get a great setup with lots of early speed lined up to his outside; top call. (4) BR ROYAL BOOM figures to get a good trip racing near the front; using. (3) EASY FLYER raced tough on the rim to win and he's another in with a decent chance here. (10) CHOCOLATE SWIRL makes his second start for trainer Gallucci and he drops in for a tag, but he had nothing to offer in the lane last week after sitting a perfect following trip. I'll play to beat him here.

Race 8 - NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10 - Pick 4

(9) CHARLIE IS A JOKER is capable of leading all the way here if he stays flat and post 9 should help add to his price; slight nod. (4) RAMAS LAST SON raced well at this level two starts back; using. (1) ODD BALL is another with gait issues who is more than capable at this level, but I wouldn't take a short price. (7) ALEXUS EH can pass a few of these late; consider for the bottom of the Tri and Super.

Race 9 - NIAGARA - 1st Leg - 3YO FILLIES

(3) PASSPORT HANOVER fits well in this spot and she goes for Gallucci after shipping in and changing barns; top call. (2) TRIP ACES HANOVER comes off a strong effort in a fast race and she is the other one to use in this late Pick 4. (5) GIGGLE HANOVER beat easier after tracking even fractions; using underneath. (1) ARYA STARK should be good for at least a small share.

Race 10 - CLM $15,000 for NW $30,000 LT

(1) DONT DILLY DALLY has a good chance to control this race on the front-end and he gets my nod. (3) BETTORS PARLAY is capable of a bettor effort and the short field can help here; using. (5) FARMERS TAN was close last time at big odds, but he did get a covered trip. I'll use him underneath. (4) CHIK MAGUIRE is a good one to use on the bottom. He has been taking frequent shares recently.

Race 11 - 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT

(2) WARRAWEE VITAL makes a late 2-year-old debut but he clearly has the speed to beat these. (1) EATAAMSBETTERSHARK showed big improvement last week and his 27-flat kicker makes him interesting here; using. (10) GOING FAST raced well last week in a weak field. He can share here. (8) BIG BULLY is always a good one to use underneath and he will be a price. (6) TWIN B FRENCHTOAST can close for a minor share.
