(4) BETTER DAYS AHEAD faces much easier here after racing decently in the Harvest Series and she has a good chance to graduate in her 12th try. (8) ADMITYOUREWRONG has been good in both her starts and she should be the main rival here. (2) ANTHEM SEELSTER is capable of better and she should enter contention in this field. (1) BETTER JOY is worth a look on debut coming in off a decent qualifier.
Race 2 – CLM HDCP $12,000 TO $15,000
(8) ESQUIRE goes for the Fellows barn off the claim here and they consistently strike at a high rate off this angle; top call. (5) MISTER MAGIC made and incredible recovery after breaking near the top of the lane last week and losing about 10 lengths. He is hard to leave out at this point. (9) ALPHA SEELSTER looked long gone on the lead until he hit the brutal headwind and Mister Magic re-rallied with a tremendous late burst. He’s a viable price option here from the outer post. (6) SMOKE MONKEY can pass a few of these late and grab a slice.
Race 3 – F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $25,500 LT
(3) SHEBESAILIN recovered after running in and making a brief break down the lane last week and she looks best here going for three straight wins. (6) GIGGLE HANOVER was a good second vs. the choice and she should be a contender again here. (4) FARMGIRL TOUGH is capable of better here and the filly that won her last start came back and doubled up on Monday night. (2) ALLY ELIZABETH should contend for a slice and she will likely get driven more conservatively here.
Race 4 – 4YO and Younger NW2 or $29,000 LT - **$50,000 GTD Pick 4 **
(6) CASEYS DRAGON had an impossible trip last time now he picks up Roy to drive which may signal that he is blasting here; slight nod. (5) CHOCOLATE SWIRL has some races on his card from earlier in the year that are good enough to win this and he looks ready for this return; using. (2) GRAND POOBAH was relentless but that was a bit of a suspect field. I’ll use him underneath here. (1) GOOD AND SWEET has yet to miss the board and he should contend for at least a slice here.
Race 5 – NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10
(6) WILD AND CRAZY GUY takes a big class drop here making his fourth start back from a break and I expect a big speed try in this spot. (7) PINK PISTOL lasted longer last week, and she could pop this time. I’ll use her in this Pick 5 and Pick 4. (1) CINDY LYNN should sit a good following trip racing near the front here and stick around for a share. (5) CAULFIELD will be coming late again. Use him in the 3-4 slots in this spot.
Race 6 – CLM $15,000 for NW $48,000 LT
(3) GO RRRILLA passed some winded leaders then held sway in his first start off the Fellows claim. He can double up here facing many of the same horses. (5) DREAMFAIR TECATE was used up early but I like the aggressive approach and if he can get a breather here, he can be tough. (7) BIG JOE DOBY drops back into a claimer where he can enter contention at a price. (4) ST LADS CASH should be passing a few of these late; use on the bottom.
Race 7 – 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) OR $20,000 (F&M$25,000) LT
(4) BIRTHDAY MAGIC was beaten by a sharp rival who was going into a sale following that start and she should be tough vs. these. (1) RED HOT TORCH should last longer vs. these and she is the obvious alternative to the choice. (10) KNOPFLER can use the second-tier post to get position early and he should rally for a share. (2) TROTSKYIST moves inside and gets a driver change. He can crack the Super at a price here.
Race 8 – HARVEST SERIES – 2ND LEG – ONTARIO SIRED 3YO FILLIES
(7) THRU THE WICKETS should get a setup here and Roy gets the return drive; top call. (8) NORTHERN ROYALE shoots for three straight here but she could get competition for the lead early this time. (5) MISS CONGENIALITY tried to bottom out the field last week, but she got stopped in the wind. She is in with a shot here. (9) TOMMI CANU HEARME rallied well past some exhausted leaders last week, but he gets the worst post here. Small share predicted.
Race 9 – NW $3,900 L5 or $8,000 L10 – 1 3/8 Race with #10 and #11 Starting in 2nd tier
(5) OFFICER JONES faces mostly easier here and he has demonstrated a great closing kick on several occasions; top call. (9) ISITFRIDAYYET lays over these on class, the big question is intent coming off a 4-month break and drawing the worst post while trying an extended distance. If he blasts to the front leaving the gate, this race could be over. (4) EASY FLYER has a nice closing kick on his best day. He can close for a slice here. (10) DREAMY FELLA should be passing a few of these late here; using on the bottom.
Race 10 – 4YO and Younger NW1 or $9,500
(6) EATAAMSBETTERSHARK ran into major road trouble last week then closed impressively down the lane. Price is gone now, but I expect a big effort here. (1) LOBEL BRUISER couldn’t seal the deal but that was a decent effort and he is one of the top contenders here. (3) NORTHERN BACCARAT faces some elders on debut but he’s by a top sire and worth including in the exotics here. (7) BEE TWO BEE raced okay to get a share last week and he is another that is best used on the bottom. (10) THE FIRST CHAPTER should be passing many of these in the back half. I’ll use him in the 3-4-5 slots.
