Race 1 – HARVEST SERIES - 1ST LEG - ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD FILLIES – $50,000 GTD Pick 5

(3) NORTHERN ROYALE will kick this Pick 5 off as an overwhelming chalk and he should prove very hard to beat in this short field. (1) THRU THE WICKETS raced decently in his first race with trotting hopples on – check out his kicker – and he should be an Exacta factor here. (4) CHECKMATE TITAN is on roll, but this assignment will be much tougher, and I see him as a fringe player. (5) GALAXY SEELSTER comes back a bit quicker this time and he may hang around late to land in the Super.

Race 2 – F&M 4 YO and Younger NW 2 or $26,000 LT

(3) SHEBESAILIN looked like a new filly last time she raced over this track and she seems to have it all figured out now; top call. (7) PERFECT STORM has been very good right from her debut and she is the main rival the choice needs to fend off here. (1) WHITEHAVEN BEACH could get a better trip this time, which would mean a better result; using underneath. (2) FRISKY BEAVER is worth a look for the exotics adding Lasix.

Race 3 – HARVEST SERIES – 1ST LEG – ONT SIRED 3YO FILLIES

(2) TOMMI CAN YOU HEARME should be primed for a good run in this series and the short field and inside draw should help her; top call. (7) CHICA’s race two starts back puts her right there with these; using. (6) MISS CONGENIALITY fits well here, and she is the third one that I’ll use in this Pick 5. (5) P C JUSTA DREAM has improving form. She can hit the ticket.

Race 4 – CLM HDCP $12,000 to $15,000 - $50,000 GTD Pick 4

(7) MISTER MAGIC stickhandled his way to victory last time and he fits well right back. I’ll give him the nod over (8) ALPHA SEELSTER, who did a lot of the roadwork on the rim in that mile. He should be right there vs. these. (9) STONEBRIDGE HALL picks up Jamieson after shipping in for one of the top barns at Rideau Carlton. He should contend here. (6) A J DESTINY gets McClure back for this and he should put him in a contending spot early; using underneath.

Race 5 – HARVEST SERIES – FINAL ONT SIRED 2YO COLTS AND GELDINGS

(10) BEAUMOND HANOVER is the best colt in this series and I’m doubtful that the 10-hole will stop him in this final, but drawing out there does give a reason to try to beat him. I would have likely singled him from a better post, but I will also use the improving (7) SUNDOWN KID on my multi-race tickets. (5) THE WILD CARD will likely provide some early speed again, but he hasn’t shown he can go with the choice. (1) ROCKIN ROLL BEACH came on well late last time to take a slice and he can enter the picture down the lane here, too.

Race 6 – HARVEST SERIES – FINAL ONT SIRED 2YO COLTS AND GELDINGS

(6) SIMSALABIM is perfectly slotted to take control early and close this series out. (10) COMBS HANOVER has the talent to compete, but post disadvantage will make it hard for him to go with the choice here. (9) HP MUSCLE DANCER has only missed the board once and his good tactical speed puts him in the mix for at least a share. (8) I GOT THE LOOKS goes for a top trotting barn and his price will be much higher this time; consider for the exotics.

Race 7 – NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10 – 1 3/8 Miles – 9 Across Start with 2 Trailers

This is the first 1 3/8 mile race and keep in mind that both #10 and #11 are trailers. (5) YOUKILLIS seems to be at his best at the end of his miles, so maybe the extra distance will be right in his wheelhouse here. (4) GRACEFUL has been facing some tough ones recently. She should be heard from in this spot. (9) TWOFOURROADIE drew in off the Also Eligible list and he fits well here; using. (3) HETTIES COMMANDER usually fits well in this class and he could trip-out racing near the front; using.

Race 8 – 2 and 3YO Fillies NW1 or $8,200 LT

(3) SAUBLE DELIGHTFUL had a decent comeback effort when she was part of a blanket finish. She looks as good as any in a wide-open race. (8) ADMITYOUREWRONG was right there in the same race and that was her debut. She is in with a decent chance here. (1) LIL SCREAMER exits some tougher company and she is worth a look for your late Pick 4 tickets. (4) HALLSGLENMAVIS has improving form and she can hit the ticket here racing from close range.

Race 9 – 4YO and Younger NW1 or $8,400 (F&M $15,000) LT

(5) LINK IN BIO raced better each start for Vanderkemp and now he draws into a spot where he should have a big shot of graduating from the maiden ranks. (8) SHOTGUN PREACHER is capable of a big rally on his best day and he is worth a long look on the barn change here. (1) REGAL SEVEN seems to be coming around now; using on the bottom. (2) VILLEFRANCHE AS has shown good speed in qualifiers but breaks when going for a purse. When she stays flat the entire mile, she will contend; maybe tonight?

Race 10 – NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10

(3) INDIGO ART drops and he stands a good chance to pop here. Expect an aggressive Saftic steer. (6) LINCOLNJAMES couldn’t advance first up vs. a stubborn leader last time but he fits well here, and he should be heard from. (7) SOSSYS KING KONG goes first time for trainer Auciello and that’s an angle that can’t be overlooked when making out Tri and Super tickets. (4) JIMMY BE GOOD and (2) BIG JOE DOBY are both good ones to use in the 3-4-5 slots here.
