Race 1
Tough race to open the card. I'll side with (2) I REFUSE TO LOSE, who should start quicker and get put into play this time with the move inside. (3) LYONS AMUSEMENTS debuts for Moreau in a spot that doesn't seem very tough; using. (8) PANTHER SEELSTER was well-regarded in the spring and it seems something went awry when he raced at Mohawk. He's worth a look vs. these. (6) NAGLE raced decently in this class last week. He can take another small share here.
Race 2
(2) P L MOLLY came up with a sharp first-over effort to get up to win last week and she's right back in against the same foes; call to repeat. (4) NIFTY TRICK was right there with the choice and it could come down to these two again at the wire here. (3) BRIARWOOD BELLE was out of position last week, but she beat all of these two starts back. She's in the picture here. (5) ORDER MATTIE should be closing late to take a share.
Race 3
(1) COOL CLIFFORD was all business last week, throwing down a 27 3/5 third quarter which sealed his opponents fate. Anything close to a repeat makes him very tough here. (3) ALL WRAPPED UP has been great in this series so far and he's the other obvious contender. (2) SCARLETT RAIDER can use his good late kick to take a big share here. (6) COUSIN PETER is another who will likely be closing late to round out the Tri or Super.
Race 4
(4) SOMEHOWSOMEDAY paced a 27 1/5 third quarter last week and he still had enough zip left to pace a sub-28 kicker. He sticks out off that mile; multi-race single. (5) FOOT SOLDIER exits a very fast race for the class where he roughed it for a good part of the mile. He should contend here. (2) ATLANTIS was nailed very late, but he won't get a 59 half on the lead here; small share predicted. (7) UNPRECEDENTED is a good one to use on the bottom of Tris and Supers.
Race 5
(2) GREEN POINT's effort two starts back wins this if she recaptures that form here. (5) THATS INCREDIBLE has a win and a second in the preliminary legs and she should be the one to catch again here. (9) CHARMBO BRIE is unbeaten in this series, but she moves way outside here and that could be the difference. (1) TWIN B TIPSTER raced better last time and he's worth a look here.
Race 6
(9) PENNANT SEELSTER had no issue with an outer post last week and this race doesn't look much tougher; call to repeat. (7) EXS AND OHS got a more aggressive steer last time which translated into a win, but he loses Roy here; your call. (4) JULA GRAND CRU bottomed out the field last time including beating the choice. He's not out of this. (5) STORMONT ROYALTY has 10 slices in the last 27 starts and she should be closing late here.
Race 7
(7) FOREVER FAV woke up last time and he might get the perfect setup for his potent late kick here; slight nod. (10) CARLISIMO is on a roll and the outer post may not even stop him here; using. (4) SHADOW OF A DAUT tripped out to get the job done, but he's possible here and he should offer a good price again. (2) MANTARIO should be a better price here and he will likely look to trip out. There are a few in here who can win this.
Race 8
(5) ADINA has been facing some good rookies and racing against elders may not be the worst move here; slight nod. (8) CONFESSION SESSION - another two-year-old - finished ahead of the choice last time in a good effort but she has been inconsistent. Maybe that effort signals a turnaround. (2) TORCHES PIRATE seemed to have a decent rally going last time when he broke. I'll toss him in this Pick 4. (10) FIGHT AGAIN may get launched early here by Roy and if he clears and stays flat, a wire job isn't out of the question.
Race 9
(8) SAND ARTIST moves into a barn that strikes regularly with new acquisitions. She gets top call here. (5) DOCS DARLIN looked home and cooled out last week and somehow got picked off. She certainly rates highly on form, but that loss is troubling. (7) HEY SWEETIE comes back much quicker here, and she can rally for a share. (10) LOVELY DONNA got pounded in both starts but she couldn't stay flat. If her gait issues are solved, she could blow up the tote board here.
Race 10
Classy veteran (3) ERLE DALE N adds Lasix for his return following some good outings at Leamington. He stacks up well in this class. (2) ROSE RUN QUEST comes out of some quick miles on the Maritimes and he is another who appears to fit well here. (1) NOTETOSELF HANOVER should be in the thick of things if he can stay flat this time. (7) REBEL VOYAGER has won close to 1/3 of his starts the past two seasons and he also shares regularly. He wouldn't be a shock in this spot. (5) LUCKLST BLUEGRASS is worth a look moving to the Auciello barn and getting driver Drury.
