(6) SUNDOWN KID was third in that same race and his improving form should be respected. (1) FRONTIER CRUISE changed tactics last time and he was coming on late. He is an exotics factor here. (3) DONTBLVEMEJUSTWATCH is capable of better than what he has been showing lately. Consider using underneath. Race 3 – HARVEST SERIES 2ND LEG – ONT SIRED 2YO Colts and Geldings (5) BIG BLUE FORD produced a big effort in the opening leg of this series and he is the one to beat right back. (2) HP MUSCLE DANCER is right there every week and he’s one you need on Pick 5 tickets. (1) BEYOND ORDINARY is worth a look off some of his Harrah’s Philly lines. (4) FIT BITT was a distant second to the choice last time; using underneath. Race 4 – CLM HDCP $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $95,000 LT - $50K GTD Pick 4 (2) OCEANVIEW MAGNUM made a sweeping wide move around the final turn last week but the leader was unrelenting. He can pop in this spot. (1) LEGAL BETTOR is bound to wake up soon. He gets major post relief here in his second start in this class; beware. (4) ZEN DA BALLYKEEL is a great one to use in the 3-4 slots in the exotics. (7) BRANDON HANOVER is capable of better. He may blast at the start this time. Race 5 – CLM $15,000 for NW $50,000 LT (4) NO TIME AT ALL paced home in 54 3/5 to win last week. He is obviously very sharp; call to repeat. (1) STATE OF PLAY was picked off by the choice and he looks like the main threat again. (6) BIG JOE DOBY may have faced tougher last week in a claiming handicap and he is worth a look here. (9) ST LADS CASH failed at even money last week, but his race two back is good enough to win this; your call. Race 6 – NW $6,000 L5 or NW $13,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $20,000 (3) STORMONT VENTNOR finds a spot where he should wake up with a much better effort; slight nod. (2) WHAT CHAPTER finished ahead of the choice last time and he too should go much better vs. these. (1) ODDS ON AMETHYST has developed a deep closing style which often finds him closing for shares without threatening the winner. I expect more of that here. (5) DOTTIE drops and figures at this level but she in 2 for her last 54 and I’ll use her underneath. Race 7 – HARVEST SERIES 2ND LEG – ONT SIRED 2YO Colts and Geldings (3) SIMSALABIM had little chance last time after getting far back when starting from the 10-hole. He should be involved earlier this time; top call. (6) COMBS HANOVER was sharp in victory and he fits well here again; using. (5) I GOT THE LOOKS is another that gets post relief and a much better trip should be in the offing here. He is on my Pick 4 ticket. (4) LMC HOPE raced okay last time and he can sneak into the exotics picture. Race 8 – 2 & 3YO Fillies NW 1 or $7,000 LT AE: ONT SIRED 3YO Fillies NW $14,000 LT (7) ROLL WITH ANGEL raced well vs. tougher down south and she should be the one to beat here. (6) LYONS TILT HANOVER comes out of some fast races and this spot should be better for her; using. (5) FARMGIRL TOUGH is the only winner in this field and she already has two victories to her credit. She should contend if she behaves. (4) ADMITYOUREWRONG is worth a look for the Tri and Super on debut. Race 9 - NW $3,000 L5 or NW $7,000 L10 (2) YOOOUKILIS races well each time he is in this class and he gets a better post here and merits top call. (9) SETANTA is an in-and-outer, but he best puts him in the equation at a price. (6) OCEANVIEW DEB is 2 for her last 50, but has some good recent tries and this isn’t the toughest field. She can threaten here. (3) MUSICAL SPELL has been known to pop at this level with Macdonald driving; consider at a price. Race 10 – HARVEST SERIES 2ND LEG – ONT SIRED 2YO Colts and Geldings (2) BEAUMOND HANOVER was a sharp winner in a fast time last week and he can repeat here as the chalk. (1) THE WILD CARD tripped-out to win, but his good gate speed can put him in an advantageous spot again. (8) BEE TWO BEE has a good record and he has shown versatility so far. I’ll use him underneath here. (4) REMEMBERING SHORTY disappointed as chalk last week and he seems more apt to finish on the bottom again. Race 11 – NW3 (F&M5) or $40,000 (F&M $50,000) LT (8) SETTE DEO was solid last time vs. non-winners of four and now she gets to face non-winners of three in a spot where she can blast to the front early; top call. (5) LEFKADA was third in a tough conditioned dash last time. She can be right there vs. these. (7) P L MATT steps up off a nice win but I see him finishing underneath in this spot. (4) KINDERUNBELIEVABLE finished 6th in an OSS Gold race when last seen at Mohawk Park. She wouldn’t be the worst stab. Race 12 – NW $3,100 L5 or NW $9,000 L10 (8) OSBORNE SEELSTER comes off a sharp effort here where he set big fractions and stayed game late. He should be tough here. (6) RUB OFTHE GREEN N ships in, gets Roy and comes back quickly; price look. (5) COOL ROCK is still looking for his first win this year, but he is capable in this class; using. (1) WALTER MITTY wasn’t far behind the choice last time and he is another who can win this with the right trip. (10) DREAMY FELLA drops and he will be coming on late.
