(2) OUR VACATION was blocked for most of the stretch drive last week and when she finally found room up the inside, the winner already had too much momentum. I'll stick with her hoping that the move up one class helps her price. (5) TWENTY THREE RED popped right away when re-claimed by Moreau. She can be a threat here. (8) OUTLAW IMAHOTVIXEN is likely to get a more aggressive steer here on the class drop and she is capable at this level. (8) ROCKIN PRALINE was a good second at this level last time; consider for exotics at what should be a square price.

Race 2 – NW 3 (F&M 5) or $45,500 LT

(1) FINALLY FOUND AWAY has been in against some of the best sophomore trotters on the continent recently. He should like this spot. (8) FASHION RACHEL trotted a strong effort last time and she could get overlooked starting from out there. (4) HEY JOCK looks for a fourth straight win, but he bore out significantly down the lane last week and I'll play to beat him here. (2) BLAZING TRAIL can be closing late for a share if he stays flat.

Race 3 - NW $7.500 L5 or $15,000 L10

(4) YACHT SEELSTER takes a big class dive here and I expect a speed try in this spot. (3) AMERICAN VIRGIN raced tough against a predictable winner last week and a better trip puts him right there vs. these. (6) RAMBLINGAMBLINMAN and (5) DREAMY FELLA are two closers that can pick up some pieces late.

Race 4 - F&M Preferred Handicap - $50K GTD Pick 4

(9) DOUBLE A MINT gets saddled with the worst post as she seeks her fourth straight win. She will be tough if Roy can work out a decent trip from out there. (8) WINDSUN GLORY dug in late last week when she looked beaten. She has been racing well for a few weeks and I'll use her in this Pick 4. (6) KENDALL SEELSTER is always a threat, but she hasn't won in a few weeks. Still she can win with the right trip. (7) COUSIN MARY looked a winner five strides from the wire last week, but she couldn't seal the deal. She pressed the leader while racing uncovered a long way. She’s another in with a shot in a race that can come down to trip.

Race 5 - NW $11,000 L5 or $23,500 L10 AE: OPT CLM $30,000 or NW $65,000 LT

(3) PEDRO HANOVER drops to a logical spot and he should be tough against these. (2) DRAGON TIME is the other class-dropper to fear here. These two could be battling late for the win. (6) NICKLE BAG is in peak form right now and he could take a slice at a price. (4) B STONEY has been sharp lately and has raced against some of the best local sophomores; consider for exotics.

Race 6 - NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10

(3) MONTALBANO BI put on trotting hopples for his August 6th qualifier and produced a big mile on a track rated two seconds slow. I'll give him the nod here. (9) NOTHING BUT MUSCLE has produced two sharp efforts since coming off the shelf and he is capable from out there if he gets a bit of racing luck. (1) OCEANVIEW DEB faces easier here. Maybe Roy can wake her up in this spot. (2) CAULFIELD is worth a look for use underneath here starting from the inside.

Race 7 - NW $16,000 L5 or $36,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $45,000 or NW $120,000 LT - Pick 4

(5) ALWAYS A HOTSHOT was third behind a hot colt last time now he drops to a likely spot; top call. (1) MAJOR HILL is in a good spot to get another nice trip; using. (4) SCOUTS REPORT made a big move at a huge price to beat lesser. He's worth a look for the exotics here. (6) TRACEUR HANOVER would have been unbeatable at this level a few months back when he was in peak form, but he should be in the mix here, at least.

Race 8 - NW $3,800 L5 or $7,000 L10

(7) CROFT BAY N drops to the bottom conditioned level here and I expect a more aggressive drive; top call. (4) DUBLIN SEELSTER gets a barn change here and picks up McNair to drive. He is interesting for the late Pick 4. (3) KINGOFTHEJUNGLE is likely to show speed early here but I prefer to use him on the bottom. (1) FREDDY BEAR is helped by the short field here. Look for him late.

Race 9 - Preferred

(3) EASY LOVER HANOVER dodges the hot Casimir Richie P here and he gets top call vs. this group. (2) TORRIN HANOVER is at the top of his game right now and he should get a decent trip here; Exacta factor. (7) PHYSICALLYINCLINED is always in the mix it seems but post does him no favors here; using underneath. (6) ROYAL RENEGADE races tough every week and he can contend for a share here despite moving up in class.

Race 10 - NW $5,950 L5 or $10,500 L10

(10) IDEAL JET should be able to clear from out there if Roy sends him - which is likely - and maybe lead these on a merry chase. (2) COOL ROCK is getting closer to that elusive first score in 2019; using. (1) DRACHAN HANOVER was live on the board and on the track last time, but he couldn't repel a big closer late. He is in the mix here. (6) JAYDENS PLACE is a good one to use underneath in exotic bets here. (5) FOOT SOLDIER should be heard from on the class drop and he could upset with the right trip.
