Race 1 –NW $5K L5 or $11K L10 - $50K GTD Pick 5

(7) MAGNUM J has had four starts and earned no money but that allows him to drop a couple of classes here and you have to think that McNair is going to roll him; top call in the opener of a great card. (5) DREAMFAIR B J woke up with a big speed try on the class drop last time. He should be a factor racing on or near the lead again. (1) PHANTOM SEELSTER has yet to recapture any of his good 2018 form, but with a better trip expected here, he is in with a shot. (8) VELOCITY DRIVEN drops and if things get crazy up front, he may roll by them all in the lane.

Race 2 – 5YO and Younger NW6 or $78K LT

(5) YACHT SEELSTER keeps teamster Gingras here after a solid try from post 10. He should be tough on the engine. (2) FOOT SOLIDER has sat good trips and surprised before. I’ll use him as a price option in the Pick 5. (6) BIT OF LUCK faces easier here and he should be heard from at some point. (1) TALBOTCREEKWHISKEY should sit a good following trip and stick to complete the Tri or Super.

Race 3 – NORTH AMERICA CUP Elimination

(4) CAPTAIN CRUNCH and (1) BETTORS WISH – perhaps the #1 and #2 contenders for this edition of the North America Cup – hook up here and I’ll give a slight nod to the former who has been sensational so far. The latter comes off a great win in the Art Rooney and this should be a good race. (5) DE LOS CIELOS DEO qualified faster than any of these race, so you know he’s ready. I just wonder how hard he will be raced first-out when they go for a million dollars next week. (9) CENTURY FARROH is one that has really impressed me this year, but he’s in a very tough spot here. He could be a price play next week if he makes the final and draws better.

Race 4 – F&M NW $15K L5 or NW $28K L10 AE: NW $110K LT, OPT CLM $35K - $50K GTD Pick4

(5) WITCH DALI makes her first start of the year at a reduced level and she should make short work of these if she gets put into the race. (8) SUNDAY AFTERNOON never gets bet and she is right there every week; exacta factor. (7) HELLO LOVE fits okay here, and she should be coming on late to take a share. (1) AMERICAN SARA is in solid form, but these are tougher, and a small slice is likely for her this time.

Race 5 – Fan Hanover Stakes Elimination

(9) BEAUTYONTHEBEACH has been driven passively in both starts, which should have her perfectly primed for this stakes engagement. Hopefully the outer post will boost her price. (10) TREACHEROUS REIGN’s 2019 form can’t be faulted and if she can clear from out there, she may be gone. (8) TRILLIONS HANOVER qualified well enough to suggest that she can be an exotics player here at a price. (4) CHOCOLATEMILKTOAST is another price filly to consider using underneath with the good late kick she has been producing.

Race 6 – Fan Hanover Stakes Elimination

Lots of star power here but I’ll side with (5) WARRAWEE UBEAUT who hasn’t skipped a beat since returning to the races in May. (2) TALL DRINK HANOVER was impressive winning both the Shesagreatlady and Eternal Camnation Stakes here last summer. She is not an easy out. (8) SUNNY DEE is bred to be this good, and she has been very good so far, but she’ll have to show me against the two powerhouses picked above. (3) POWERFUL CHRIS should be closing to get a piece of this.

Race 7 – NW $30K L5 AE: NW $180K LT or OPT CLM $80K

(5) PHYSICALLYINCLINED would not be denied last week and he is in another winnable spot here. He has to be caught. (9) GO WEST GO FAST typically wins when he is not racing in the Preferred and he is a must-use in this Pick 4. (3) MAROMA BEACH also drops and he should wake up with a much better try. (4) AMERICAN HUSTLE is in terrific form, but this is a much tougher task; small share predicted.

Race 8 – NORTH AMERICA CUP Elimination

(6) BRONX SEELSTER hasn’t really been tried hard yet this year and he should be primed perfectly for a top effort now; top call. (9) WORKIN ONA MYSTERY has high speed an impeccable record along with Tetrick driving. Post 9 shouldn’t pose a big problem for him. (4) CAVIART ROCKLAND paced a huge mile last week, almost catching the leader despite pace and trip going against him. He could be a spoiler here and/or next week. (5) STAG PARTY just doesn’t seem like the same horse that won The Metro Stakes last year, but he will take action based on reputation. I’ll play to beat him again.

Race 9 – NW $7,500 L5 or $16K L10 – Pick 4

(4) POINTOMYGRANSON gets to take a big drop and he picks up driver Dunn. He should be tough to beat in this spot. (1) BIG BANG BOOM converted in an obvious spot at Georgian Downs, but he could trip-out here near the front and threaten. (2) MOONWRITER is in excellent form but he is more likely to take a small share. (7) FASHIONONTHEBEACH comes off a decent effort at this level and he could better this placing with a good trip.

Race 10 – Roses Are Red Prep

(4) SHARTIN is the queen of North American pacers currently and she is tough to go against here. (3) CAVIART ALLY gave the choice quite a tussle in the Betsy Ross and if any mare is going to knock her off here, it’s her. (6) SEASWIFT JOY N has been on fire at this track, but likely a bit player in here. (8) DOUBLE A MINT rarely misses a check; consider using her underneath here.

Race 11 – NW $17,500 L5 or $33K L10 AE: NW $120K LT or OPT CLM $45K

(4) TORRIN HANOVER has been razor-sharp as of late and he could offer some value here rising in class; slight nod. (2) DRAGON TIME is sure to get involved on the class drop and he is one to fear. (6) ELLIS PARK is almost sure to wake up here moving from the worst post to the best one. I’ll use him in the late Pick 4. (7) PLAY JET RAY is as consistent as they come and hard to leave off Tri and Super tickets.

Race 12 – NW $11K L5 or $22K L10 – AE: OPT CLM $30K

(5) CINNABAR DRAGON almost won last time McNair drove and that was at one level higher. He has a big shot here. (3) PEDRO HANOVER gets a much better post and McClure sticks; using. (7) TYMAL PEACEMAKER raced big from the 10-hole last week and he merits Pick 4 consideration here. (8) HES A SENSATION moves up again and he’s hard to toss, but I prefer using him underneath here. (1) FINE DIAMOND is always a good one to use underneath in Tris, Supers and High 5s.
