(1) DRAGON TIME drops to a logical spot and draws inside. Expect McNair to roll this gelding early. (5) MONGOLIAN HERO N had an impossible trip last time. He should go much better here. (4) HEZA THRILL N may get overbet off his fast final 1/4 here, but he could do with the right trip. (7) FREDDY BEAR is another class-dropper who merits a look for the Pick 5.

Race 2 - Preferred

(6) NIRVANA SEELSTER took some interesting early action on the tote last time and he delivered a strong performance against two of the best pacers on the continent. He will be very tough here if he reproduces that effort. (4) PHYSICALLYINCLINED exits the same race as the choice and he should be leaving this time, which will put him in position to be a threat. (5) EASY LOVER HANOVER was coming off a break last time when he finished behind the top two choices. He can improve and take a share here. (1) AMERICAN HUSTLE looks best of the rest.

Race 3 - 5YO and Younger NW3 or $52K LT

(2) SPORTSLINE is on a serious roll that is likely to continue here, but he is sure to be odds-on. (7) B STONEY was racing well before he tried stakes company, but he'll need to find more speed here to threaten the choice. (3) BALDER SON rarely misses the board and he gets a good post here; using underneath. (1) BATTLE STRONG will leave for position and he can hang around for a slice here.

Race 4 - NW $11K L5 or $23,500 L10 AE: OPT CLM $30K - $50K GTD Pick 4

(7) DREAMFAIR B J'S race two starts back puts him right there with these. He moved up too far in class last time. (5) TORRIN HANOVER is sharp and dangerous and a must-use in this class. (1) LONE WOLF TERROR saved ground last time when it counted and got up for a narrow win. He races better on a fast track. (6) ALWAYS A HOTSHOT has missed more than a month. I'll use him underneath if at all.

Race 5 - NW $16,500 L5 or $26K L10 AE: OPT CLM $45K or NW $120K LT

(2) MAROMA BEACH gets class and post relief here and Roy will likely roll him early; top call. (3) ISITFRIDAYYET also drops and he should be the main danger. (4) AMERICAN WIGGLE is capable of better and I'll use him in the multis as a price option. (7) P L JACKSON chased a revved-up Casimir Richie P to no avail last week. He should contend here again.

Race 6 - OSS Gold 3YO Fillies

(3) POWERFUL CHRIS paced a stellar mile in defeat in the Fan Hanover Final and she lays over these off that effort. (1) SPORTS FLIX raced well in the Fan Hanover Consolation and she merits a close look for the Exactor. (2) LOVELY DONNA is on a good roll, but she may be racing for a smaller share here. (5) CHOCOLATEMILKTOAST can come on late to take a small slice.

Race 7 -NW $22K L5 or $30K L10 AE: OPT CLM $55K or NW $155K LT

(2) AMERICAN VIRGIN takes a big class drop from the Mohawk Gold Cup and he should be formidable here. (1) CASIMIR RICHIE P uncorked a vicious mile last weekend and he should be tough right back. (5) POINTOMYGRANSON has never been better and while this is a tougher assignment, he's not out of it. (7) YACHT SEELSTER can leave for position and hang around for a share.

Race 8 - OSS Gold 3YO Fillies

(2) SUNNY DEE is extremely tough facing Ontario-breds and she is the obvious one to beat at a short price here. (6) BOADICEA is on a serious roll and she could provide a stiff challenge to the choice here. (3) QUEBEC BLUE CHIP improved her sharpness racing against some salty older mares and she gets trainer Menary back. I'll include her as a price possibility in this late Pick 4. (7) DEB should improve here back in with Ontario-breds. Consider her at a price for the Tri and Super.

Race 9 - 5YO and Younger NW 5 or $80K LT

(2) FASHIONONTHEBEACH has faced some tough ones recently and this is a much better spot for him; top call. (5) FAST N FIRST looks to double up in this class and he's the other one that I'll use in the Pick 4. (7) WAGER ON ME showed improvement last time but post does him no favors here; using underneath. (1) CANDID CAMERON can leave, sit, then hang around for a share.

Race 10 - NW $7500 L5 or $15K L10 AE: NW 1 in 2018

(6) IDEAL JET broke approaching the gate last week, which left him with too much to do to make front and he faded late as a result. A better start can lead to a gate-to-wire win here. (8) XTERNAL drops below the class level where he last won. He should be tough here if he can find a spot near the front early. (7) VELOCITY DRIVEN shows a 25-flat kicker, but he is often too far out of position. I'll use him underneath. (4) MAJOR HILL was nailed in the final strides after getting everything his own way last week. He's another that I'll use on the bottom here. (9) DRAGON STRIKER has been competitive at these levels recently. Consider him for the exotics at a price.
