Race 1
(3) MACH CODE had a short campaign last year, but he is a sub-1:50 pacer when he is right and his latest qualifier signals readiness; top call in the opener. (10) TYMAL PEACEMAKER is likely to blast and try to lead these all the way. He's hard to leave out at this level, even from out there. (6) ALEXAS JACKPOT's recent race was sneaky good and he could threaten at a price here. (2) HES A SENSATION can take a smaller share stepping up off a nice win.
Race 2
(6) SUNNY DEE was outstanding winning the SBOA stakes final and It's hard to imagine her winning streak getting snapped here. (8) SWIFT ALLY is the other unbeaten filly in this field but she'd need to shave at least another second off to beat the choice. (4) BETTER SINGLE has raced well twice against the choice - last time getting in some traffic - and she should hit the board, at least. (1) CHOCOLATEMILKTOAST is developing a nice late kick; consider for the exotics.
Race 3
(3) CENTURY FARROH has been one of the most impressive horses on the grounds this spring and he should notch another win here as he marches towards the North America Cup. (2) CAPTAIN TREVOR - 6 for 9 last year with a mark of 1:49 2/5 - hasn't seen a fast track yet in 2019. He could improve sharply here. (8) CAVIART ROCKLAND gets a critical driver change here after getting a horrific trip last week, but he may get overbet because of that change. I'll play to beat him out of the exacta. (1) B STONEY can pass a few of these late and sneak onto the Super ticket.
Race 4
(5) TORRIN HANOVER is sharp as a tack right now, but he couldn't handle a class-dropper last week. He has a big shot here. (2) FASHIONONTHEBEACH set some big splits then tired. He could last much longer in this spot. (6) LONE WOLF TERROR got a dream setup last week and he made no mistakes, easily rolling by late. The top two are much tougher; small share predicted. (3) OH K MAN can close to round out the Tri or Super here.
Race 5
(4) ATLANTA comes off a vet scratch due to sickness, but if she is recovered and races back to her last start, these rivals are in trouble. (9) MISSION ACCEPTED - the choice's stablemate - is in terrific form and he simply got outsprinted late last time. He should be right there. (8) MANCHEGO kicks off her four-year-old campaign here and she may need one or two before hitting her peak, but she can trot to an on-the-board finish here. (3) FOR A DREAMER has a fast kicker on display and he can close for a share against these.
Race 6
(5) CAPTAIN AHAB had a nice tightener for this and he may offer some value; slight nod. (6) BRONX SEELSTER was game trying to chase down a strong leader and it's clear that he is faster at three - which he needs to be. He is a player here. (8) STAG PARTY looked a little flat in his sophomore debut, but the goal isn't an OSS Gold race, obviously. He can't be dismissed, but I'll play to beat him again here after what I saw last week. (4) BEST IN SHOW was afforded a lonely lead last week and he made the most of it. I doubt he sees that same trip here, but he is another who can win this.
Race 7
(1) LATHER UP loves this track and he appears to be the one to beat here off last week's impressive mile and with him getting a good post draw. (11) COURTLY CHOICE gets a second-tier draw but leaving behind the choice isn't the worst spot to be in here. He is an obvious threat. (5) JIMMY FREIGHT is another contender who drew well, and he shows 1:48 3/5 speed over this track at three, so he can't be tossed racing on his home grounds. (4) THINKBIG DREAMBIG is kicking home with sub-53 back halves and if things get a bit wild up front, he may roll by them all late at a price; using.
Race 8
(3) IDEATION HANOVER had an impossible trip against unbeaten Sunny Dee now she moves inside and dodges that foe. This should be where she wakes up. (5) BETCHA BABY has a similar chart line as the choice coming out of the same race. Her race two starts back puts her right there vs. these. (1) GIRLS GOT RHYTHM was first up in that same dash and she paid the price late. Her price should be good off that 9th-place finish, but she can rebound here; using. (6) LOVELY DONNA has been on a tear but some of these should prove much tougher; smaller share predicted.
Race 9
(6) NIRVANA SEELSTER wasted little time taking a win following a winter break. I have a feeling he is going to blast off the gate and put on a speed show vs. these. (3) P L JACKSON has faced a steady diet of tough hombres in his past three starts. He fits better here; using. (4) REGAL SON is about as sharp as he gets right now, and he could beat both top two with the right trip. (7) PHYSICALLYINCLINED got cooked early last time but he may be forced to take a seat here if Henry rolls the choice as expected.
Race 10
(5) POWERFUL CHRIS had a perfect tightener for this first OSS Gold event and McClure is sure to put her into this race; top call. (8) SPRINGBRIDGEVISION paced her final 1/16th of a mile like a wild horse last week and if she is in range halfway down the lane here, look out. (1) THATS INCREDIBLE gets away from unbeaten Sunny Dee here and that makes her an instant contender vs. this group; using. (2) SPRINGBRIDGE SASSY has talent but also some issues. I'll use her only underneath - if at all - in this spot.
Race 11
This is a big drop from racing against Lather Up for (6) TRACEUR HANOVER and he will be a deserving big favorite in here. One horse that could topple him with the right trip is (3) ROCKIN WIZARD, who is razor-sharp right now and could provide some value to the Late Pick 4. (4) PLAY JET RAY is in tremendous form and he hasn't missed the board this year. I'll use him underneath here. (9) EAST END can pass a few of these and land in the Super or High 5. (2) CASIMIR RICHIE P can sit a nice trip and hang around for a small slice.
