Race 1
(3) FOLLOWTHEWIND N goes for trainer Auciello for the first time in a spot where she should fit well; top call in the opener. (6) P L HURRICANE takes a big class plunge here and she could be odds-on in this spot. She's an obvious must-use in the Pick 5. (7) WATCH MY LUCK had too far to come last time against a sharp winner. She could upset with the right trip here. (4) DRAGON LADY ART takes a double class jump coming off a nice win; small share predicted for her.
Race 2
(7) STOLEN ART came up against one of the sharpest sophomore colts on the grounds last time and while he could do no better than second, that's by far the best recent race of any in here; gets the nod. (1) RUSH TO JUDGEMENT was a powerful winner racing off the shelf and he fits well here; using. (6) ALTA SHELBY N takes frequent shares and she's worth a look for the exotics. (3) LEGAL BETTOR is helped by the short field here and he is another who can close late to grab a slice.
Race 3
(4) LATHER UP seems to perform better on the big track and he's no stranger to Mohawk Park, having won last year's North America Cup. This is a race he should win. (1) P L JACKSON has come back sharp as a tack and he can get good position early and complete this exacta. (5) MAROMA BEACH is capable of better than he showed last week. I'll use him underneath. (3) ISITFRIDAYYET is in peak form right now and he should hit the Super again in this spot.
Race 4
(10) GHOST DANCE has come back sharp and even from post 10 he could take this if he gets put into the race early. (6) THOR DE VIE takes another double dip in class here and I doubt that he's dropping to the back this time. (1) BRODYS SCRAPPER is another class-dropper who should make his presence felt. I'll use him in the multis. (8) DEVILS PEAK can close from far back and grab a spot in the Super.
Race 5
(11) STAG PARTY appears ready to roll as he preps for the North America Cup. He leaves behind a horse that should be blasting off the gate, so post 11 shouldn't be an issue. (6) BEST IN SHOW looks new and improved as a 3-year-old and he might give the choice a tussle here. (1) BRONX SEELSTER is another high-quality sophomore that shouldn't be dismissed in this spot. (4) A BETTOR BEACH is developing a nice closing kick; using underneath.
Race 6
(7) NIRVANA SEELSTER had a useful tightener in this class last week. I would think he's leaving this time and if he does, he'll be hard to catch. (2) PLAY JET RAY has been racing well for several weeks and he should contend here again from close range. (3) CINNABAR DRAGON rarely gets bet, but if he blasts off the gate for position here, he's in with an upset chance. (4) POINTOMYGRANSON should be passing many of these in the back half to gain a spot in the Tri or Super.
Race 7
(6) CENTURY FARROH has ripped off two impressive miles so far at age 3 and opened some eyes. He should be tough to beat here. (9) CAVIART ROCKLAND has been flying home at The Meadowlands. He should be heard from late in this mile. (3) BETTER UP failed as chalk in his sophomore debut in a race he may have needed; consider for exotics. (7) FIXED IDEA got hammered at the windows last time in a race where not much went right. He's a sneaky longshot in here.
Race 8
(8) UNDEFIABLE paced a sub-28 second quarter in her 2019 debut which likely contributed to her defeat. She should be even sharper now off that effort and she gets the nod. (3) SWEET YOUNG THING couldn't close much into a fast final 1/4 last time, but this is a better spot and she should be a threat. (6) ARRIVAL comes out of the same race as the choice and she should go better in this spot, too; using underneath. (1) JESSICAS LEGACY looks best of the rest.
Race 9
(1) DRAGON TIME moves inside and picks up driver Roy; upset special. (4) REGAL SON comes off a solid try at a similar level and he has the look of a contender here. (5) AMERICAN WIGGLE exits the same race as the top two choices and he too should go better in this spot. (8) EAST END powered up late to win a class lower. He's in the mix.
Race 10
(5) ROCKIN WIZARD has been sharp in every start since returning from a break and he gets the nod vs. these. (3) YACHT SEELSTER was ready to roll last week and he should be a big threat right back in this second start off a rest. (2) AVALANCHE HANOVER was determined last week, getting up in the final stride. He isn't out of place here and he should threaten again. (7) DRAGON STRIKER was an unlucky loser last time when he raced super, but some of these will likely prove too tough to beat.
Race 11
(9) INDIGO ART ships in and moves into a barn that's sharp with new acquisitions; top call. (5) IMSPORTY tried hard last week, but a 59 2/5 middle 1/2 stolen by the leader was too much to overcome. I'll use him in this Pick 4. (3) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ looked good closing against a strong winner; using.(1) VELOCITY DRIVEN should be closing for a piece as he does most weeks. (2) LEVIS DAY could trip-out this time which would make him a threat at a price.
