Race 1
(3) IMSPORTY lands in a spot where he could get a breather racing on the lead and that would make him very tough. I'll give him the nod here. (5) RAMBLINGAMBLINMAN drops to a spot where he should win, but his typical racing style could play against him here. Perhaps a tactics change is coming? (4) LEVIS DAY produced his best race of the year when driver Henry climbed aboard last week, and he sticks here; using. (7) COOL ROCK raced better last time, but he couldn't fish out any cover. Look for him late.
Race 2
(7) CAPITANO ITALIANO faced some very tough colts in his past three starts and this looks like a much better spot for him to try to control the race; top call. (3) LETS HAVE ANOTHER should get a good trip racing near the front and he looks like the main danger. (1) DO YA THINK had an impossible trip last time from the 9-hole and he is in with an upset chance here with the move inside. (5) HEISMAN PLAYER should be closing late to take a slice.
Race 3
(4) FANCOURT made several moves last time and finished a good second. He gets a slight nod here in a contentious race. (5) ISITFRIDAYYET couldn't reach a razor-sharp leader, but that was a good effort and he is a player in here. (3) WESTSLUCKY TERROR just wins and he's hard to leave out despite the class rise. (8) DRAGON TIME is in the mix every week and he could add some value to the exotics starting from out there.
Race 4
(8) THOR DE VIE returns to Mohawk Park and he takes a big class drop. He should be tough in here. (2) XTERNAL looked loaded the whole way last week and he was a strong winner. I'll use him here despite the class jump. (6) EAST END drops, and he should be heard from in the lane vs. these. (3) NIRVANA SEELSTER kicks off his summer campaign here in a spot where he should flash some early speed, but he may need a race or two before he produces his best effort.
Race 5
(2) OFFICER JONES flies home every week and he should get a better start here leaving from an inside post. (4) CROFT BAY N's race two starts back in a similar class puts him right there with these; using. (5) YACHT SEELSTER's May 13th qualifier over a track rated three seconds off makes him interesting in this spot and he could be a big speed threat. (8) DEVILS PEAK should be passing horses late here; use on the bottom of Tris and Supers.
Race 6
(2) HAVEONEFORME had no problem handling post 11 last week and she draws much better here. This filly should be tough to beat. (3) BRIGHT EYES M has kicked off her sophomore season in excellent fashion and she looks like the biggest danger to the choice. (1) ROYAL RHYTHM is another who is very sharp that should be coming late to make the ticket. (10) TEDDYS LITTLEANGEL was much better last week and she is one to consider for the exotics at a price.
Race 7
(6) LONE WOLF TERROR sticks out in this spot, but the question is: What price will you take on a horse that will probably be trying to pass them all in the final quarter? (8) DRAGON STRIKER should get a much more aggressive steer with McNair back in the bike. I'll use him in the Pick 4s. (3) ARSENAL SEELSTER looked like he was making a nice move on the last turn, then he spun his wheels a bit in the slop. He has an upset chance here. (4) BIG BANG BOOM should be an early speed threat and he can stick around for another share.
Race 8
(4) GIRLS GOT RHYTHM won last week despite missing three weeks and she should be even tougher coming back in a week. I'll give her the call to take down unbeaten (2) SUNNY DEE here, who faces her toughest test to date. (5) BETTER SINGLE was very sharp in her sophomore debut and she could be the beneficiary if the top two engage in any mid-race battling. (3) THATS INCREDIBLE benefitted from some final turn confusion which allowed her to get off the inside and come on for the win. I'll use her underneath here.
Race 9
(1) SINTRA upset (7) MCWICKED in the Mohawk Gold Cup here on North America Cup night last year and he is very sharp right now while the latter kicks off his 8-year-old campaign in this spot. I'll give a slight nod to the former and use both in the Pick 4. (4) MAROMA BEACH is in the mix every week and he should share here, too. (5) P L JACKSON has been excellent in all five 2019 starts but this is a tall order for him; for a slice only.
Race 10
(6) MONGOLIAN HERO has been facing a steady diet of much tougher company than he faces here and he should be tough in this spot. (4) FREDDY BEAR also drops, and he has been close at this level previously; using. (8) ALWAYS A HOTSHOT was a very sharp winner vs. lesser last week but he should be in the hunt here, too. (2) MCKINNEY is sneaky here on the slight class drop; consider for exotics. (5) BIT OF LUCK is a great one to use on the bottom of all exotic bets in this spot.
