Race 1
(4) BETCHA BABY paced a big trip at Hoosier on the rim and she kept coming. She should get a better trip here and she gets my nod over another shipper (3) GIRLS GOT RHYTHM. The latter lost for the first time in a very quick mile in the Weiss final and she will take plenty of action off that effort. (2) JUST MY SHADOW is in great form and if there is any mid-race battling, she will benefit. (5) FREYA SEELSTER has never missed the board and the barn has been good with horses making comeback starts; consider for exotics.
Race 2
(8) SUNNY DEE puts her unblemished record on the line vs better here, but she's been so good to this point that she could be up to it. (4) SUMMER CHARM goes for Moreau here and she should be a big speed threat in this spot; using. (2) VILLAGE JOULES was sharp in defeat in her Mohawk Park debut and she merits a look at a price. (5) BETTER SINGLE was solid last year, but she may need a start against these. I'll use her in the bottom only.
Race 3
(11) HAVEONEFORME seems to hold a speed edge on these. She just needs to work out a trip starting from the second tier. (6) ROYAL RHYTHM is still winless, but her seasonal debut was quite good and she's in with a chance here. (9) CHAMPAGNE JANE was in some big dances last year and she's worth a look for the exotics at least. (3) ANGIES LUCKYLADY had a good speed tightener last week and she could go much better here at a price.
Race 4
(5) CIRCLE THE PAGE stalled first-up when racing a couple of classes higher last week. She can bully these if she gets sent hard off the gate. (3) WHISTYS PARADISE continues to race well and she should be in the mix here again; exacta factor. (2) VILLAGE JAMIE was decent at Flamboro last time. She can trip-out at a price here and hit the ticket. (1) FRANSCHOEK is another who should get a spot near the front then follow along and re-emerge for a slice.
Race 5
(5) BRIGHT EYES M was a bit erratic trotting the lane last week, but she was really moving late. As long as she behaves, she can be a big threat here. (3) MERCEDES TALMA was a sharp winner in her first start for trainer Henriksen and she is one to fear racing from close range. (2) BLUE MAGIC was an OSS Gold winner at 2 and if she is ready to roll she could beat these; using. (9) PRESTO CHANGE O had a comeback race vs. stakes foes at Freehold and on her best, she is right there with these.
Race 6
(8) DISTURBED HANOVER qualified sharply with her trainer in the bike at The Meadowlands and now she picks up Roy; slight nod in a tough race. (2) IDEATION HANOVER was solid last year, and she debuts for a new barn here. She's right there with these if she's ready. (1) DEB had a comeback start and she races much better when she is positioned near the front. She can be dangerous here if she leaves. (6) SWEET YOUNG THING had a nice opener to her sophomore season and she was a Gold winner last year. She's not out of this.
Race 7
(1) WESTSLUCKY TERROR was shaded by a very sharp rival last time and he had his win streak broken. He can get back on track vs. these. (3) PLAY JET RAY is rolling and he should provide a stern challenge for the choice; using. (7) TE KAWAU N is right there every week and he can take another slice here. (4) HUMBOLDT moves up off a nice win but some of these could be too tough; using in the bottom.
Race 8
(10) CENTURY FARROH was sharp as a tack in his comeback and this is a rare #10 horse I'll use on top off that big effort. (5) MC PAT is in good form and he can trip-out and come late for a slice. (3) BETTER MOONON OVER was better in his second start and he should get another decent trip here; exotics factor. (9) DO YA THINK rarely misses the board and with a reasonable trip he could better this placing.
Race 9
(1) XTERNAL took action last time but dropped to the back at the start and didn't make any headway. He'll get bet here with a 25 4/5 kicker showing, but he has a much better chance moving way inside. (2) BRODYS SCRAPPER tried a first-up move vs. much better and faltered. He should be much tougher in here. (3) CANADIAN PHAROH should get a similar trip to last time when he was right there at the wire; using underneath. (4) RAMBLINGAMBLINMAN gets much-needed post relief here and he should be closing for a slice.
Race 10
(7) GO WEST GO FAST stepped up to face some tigers last time and he wasn't disgraced. He has a big shot in here. (6) ISITFRIDAYYET steps up off a very sharp win and he draws well. He's an exacta factor. (8) CASIMIR RICHIE P has come back in excellent form as a 4-year-old and this post may not be bad for him; consider for exotics. (1) DRAGON TIME couldn't seal the deal last time, but he had missed some time. He's not out of this.
Race 11
(4) ALWAYS A HOTSHOT drops to a nice spot here and he should be able to control his own destiny on the front end. (9) BETTORS WESTERN moved up for McNair last time and that teamsters sticks here. I'll use him as a price option in the late Pick 4. (2) OH K MAN continues to take shares every week and starting from a good post, he should get another slice. (7) LEGAL BETTOR rolled by some overmatched foes late last time. I see him closing for a smaller share this time. (5) OFFICER JONES is another who typically closes late to finish on the edges. Use him in the 3-4-5 slots in the exotics here.
