Race 1
(5) VANQUISH KRONOS had no real chance to gain ground in his Mohawk Park debut with the last 1/4 being trotted in 27 2/5. The 4th place finisher from that race came back and swept from 10th to 1st down the lane Monday night. Expect sharp improvement here. (6) REVENUE AGENT was on a roll here before he headed to London. Put a line through that race where he got hung the route. (8) CLOUD NINE HANOVER can pass many of these in the stretch and get up for a share. (3) NIGHTONTHEROAD is worth a look for the exotics dropping slightly.
Race 2
(4) MY TEEN IDOL was simply out-tripped last time, but he was flying late, and he gets the nod here. (5) OH K MAN was too far out of position, but this race has a ton of speed lined up outside and he should get a much better setup here. (2) PRINCE GIOVANNI totally tripped out to win last week and while I won't hold that against him, a repeat of that trip seems unlikely here. (8) UPTOWN FUNK should get more early heat here, but he's sharp and dangerous nonetheless.
Race 3
(5) JAN figures to get a good trip racing on or near the lead here and she should find this class more to her liking; top call. (8) OUTLAW FIREBALL also drops and gets her regular driver back; using. (4) BAROCKEY looked good winning last week, so I'll use her here despite the class rise. (2) AINT THREE OK was flying late, but these are tougher, and a smaller share is likely.
Race 4
(2) CARTOON DADDY has a much better shot starting from the inside and the barn continues to run hot; top call. (9) BETTORS WESTERN should get much more aggressive handling on the class drop. I'll use him in the multis. (6) LINCOLNJAMES is capable racing in this class and A Mac is likely sending him off the gate. (5) JAYDENS PLACE should be closing in the lane to take a share.
Race 5
(2) WATCH MY LUCK should be prominent early getting both class and post relief here; top call. (3) OUTLAW IMAHOTVIXEN roared up to beat lesser last week, but she's sharp and viable. (5) KAYS SHADOW is also a sharp one that can get involved here and take a slice. (1) I WISH YOU WELL should improve in her second start back but may need one more before she reaches her best stride.
Race 6
(7) R U TALKIN appears to be stepping up in class, but he passed three very nice colts in the lane last time despite him having missed three weeks. He should be tough right back. (4) SPEED TO MARKET tripped out to win, but he's sharp and in the mix here. (1) LEGAL POWER looks to turn things around moving to Moreau. I'll watch once. (6) INTRIGUED AGAIN can pass many of these in the back half and he should hit the Super ticket.
Race 7
(4) MCKINNEY did all the heavy lifting last week in a race with lots of battling and he got picked off by a noted strong closer. He can take this with an easier trip. (8) WALTER MITTY takes a notable drop and he should get activated early; using. (1) IDEAL JET steps up but he's beaten better than these many times. I won't leave him out. (5) HIS BOY ELROY exploded around the leaders who stole a cheap middle half, but the pace should be much quicker here, so he may not have that same kick.
Race 8
(1) RAMBLINGAMBLINMAN has paced his final 1/4 in 26 2/5 three times straight and he has no wins to show for it. He's due for some better racing luck. (7) AMERICAN VIRGIN drops following a solid effort and he has to be a factor here. (6) TYMAL PEACEMAKER has a penchant for winning at long odds. You could back worse longshots tonight. (4) HUMBOLDT got the jump on the choice off a perfect trip and took the win last week. He should be in the picture here, but others are preferred.
Race 9
(1) TRACEUR HANOVER was relentless racing uncovered for most of the back 1/2 last week and he powered home in 26-flat to beat most of these; call to repeat. (7) PHYSICALLYINCLINED couldn't hold off the choice, but maybe he slowed it down too much early? He remains a threat. (6) BETTOR OPS N is one that I've been impressed with from his first start here. He's not out of this. (5) ISITFRIDAYYET should get onto the Super ticket here racing from close range.
Race 10
(5) REGAL SON and (7) ALWAYS A HOTSHOT take big class drops here and they will likely battle for the win; slight edge to the former who has post advantage and better recent form. (6) MAROMA BEACH has been first up twice in a row to no avail. A better trip puts him in the picture here. (3) TORRIN HANOVER has a better shot of hitting the ticket with the move inside here; using. (9) OFFICER JONES can provide a strong late rally on his best day; consider using underneath at a price.
