(3) BLACK JACK PAT gets a driver switch to Henry here which likely means a more aggressive steer is coming; using. (1) LYONS JENNILEE is an interesting ship-in who seems to fit but she's missed a month, so I'll give her one. (4) WHISTYS PARADISE is sharp and she should take another slice in here.
Race 2- NW 5 (F&M7) or $70,000 (F&M $87,500) LT
(2) REFI, who has been kicking home with 27 2/5 final quarters, will be tough to beat here with a reasonable trip. (7) LAPPED BY LINDY raced well vs. the choice when coming off a break and he should be right in the mix here if he stays flat. (5) LIFETIME ROYALTY was cleverly driven to win the Harvest series but he has missed a month now and this is no easy spot; using underneath. (6) TRIX AND STONES should pass some of these late and land in the Tri or Super.
Race 3 - NW $6,400 L5 or $13,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $10,000
(5) KAMERAN HANOVER drops again following a decent effort vs. tougher and this is a good spot for him; top call. (2) HEAD TURNING JAG couldn't repel a sharp rival on a night where the front was not the place to be. He could provide some Pick 5 value here as his price will be solid on the class rise. (1) MAGIC NIGHT was a good third in the top class at Flamboro on Tuesday night and he is capable vs. these if he gets a trip. (3) HOCKEY HANOVER has been racing better recently; consider for the bottom of the Tri and Super.
Race 4 - NW $8,000L5 or $16,000 L10 or NW 5 Races LT - **GTD $50,000 Pick 4**
(4) DEETZY could get a soft trip on the engine here in a race where several appear to have no interest in leaving hard. He also goes for trainer Budd off the barn change which is notable; slight nod in a tough race. (2) PRESTIGE SEELSTER also projects to get a good trip racing near the front; using. (1) JKNR LIKETELL is sharp as a tack and while this is likely a tougher assignment, he could do here if he works out a covered trip. (9) P L JACKSON should beat a few of these off the gate; consider for the exotics.
Race 5 - NW $11,000 L5 or $23,500 L10 AE: OPT CLM $30,000
(5) REAL WILLEY should get a good trip racing near the front here on the class drop and he gets the nod in a race with a few options. (4) YACHT SEELSTER was right there in this class last time and he should be a contender vs. these. (8) POINTOMYGRANSON drops and picks up Henry. A big from reversal here wouldn't be a shock. (9) CLASSIC PRO comes off a good effort in a fast race and he should be in the hunt for at least a share despite drawing worst.
Race 6 - PREFERRED HANDICAP - Late Pick 5
(7) NIRVANA SEELSTER is on a roll now and he gets the call to repeat in his current sharp condition. (6) SINTRA has been off since last spring but paced his final 3/4 in 1:22 2/5 in his qualifier so he looks ready. (8) EASY LOVER HANOVER can never be counted out but post 8 obviously does him no favors here. Let price be your guide with him. (3) PHYSICALLYINCLINED should stick around for a slice in this spot.
Race 7 - NW3 (F&M5) or $45,000 (F&M $60,000)
(8) PIKACHU HANOVER was one of only three horses in 12 races that overcame a pronounced closer bias on Boxing Day, and he should be very tough right back here. (9) ARVIKA has hit her best stride and she should be an Exacta factor again here. (3) NORTHERN ROYALE raced well despite missing time and she should hit the ticket again vs. these. (7) P L MATT can close for a slice in this spot; using underneath.
Race 8 - F&M NW $10,000 L5 or $24,500 L9 AE: OPT CLM $25,000 - Pick 4
(3) WITCH DALI looks solid here on the class drop after racing well vs. tougher last time; top call. (1) LADY ROCKNROLLA A has raced well in every start since shipping in from Australia and it's only a matter of time before she pops. (2) MACHNHOPE fits this class well and she should take a share here. (7) KYLIE SEELSTER beat easier, steps up and she will likely be coming late for a small slice.
Race 9 - NW $19,500 L5 or $31,000 L10 or NW $140,000 LT
(7) ROCKME ROLLME had great success with driver Henry in the fall and he returns here. A big speed try should be coming. (2) ISLANDSPECIALMAJOR paced a huge mile last week in fast time and he will take plenty of play here. He is the one to beat. (5) TRACEUR HANOVER comes off a big effort and he is another logical contender in this spot. (4) NICKLE BAG has been sharp for several weeks and he draws well here; consider for the exotics.
Race 10 - FILLIES AND MARES PREFERRED HANDICAP
(7) YOUAREMYCANDYGIRL has missed some time, but she has dominated here in this class in the past; slight nod. (5) SO MUCH MORE has been sharp as a tack recently and she merits a long look for the late Pick 4. (6) KENDALL SEELSTER is always in the mix and she's hard to leave out when making Pick 4 tickets. (4) DOUBLE A MINT - recently sold - should be in the hunt for a smaller share vs. these.
Race 11 – NW $11,000 L5 or $23,500 L10 AE: OPT CLM $30,000
(2) EVENWOOD SONOFAGUN has the look of one that will keep winning while climbing the conditioned ladder for a few weeks. He should be solid in this spot. (6) POINTS NORTH made a big move that he couldn’t quite sustain now he returns quicker for this second start over the track; using. (3) LISBURN races tough every week and he should be in the mix for at least a share here. (10) WHITE HAIR ROCKS and (7) ROCK THIS WAY are two closers to consider using for the bottom of the Super and High-5.
