Race 1
(3) RAMBLINGAMBLINMAN was out of position last time trying to close into a 27 4/5 kicker. He should get away better here and he remains viable. (5) WALTER MITTY has really improved his late speed in his last few races and that makes him a contender here despite the class rise. (6) FINE DIAMOND doesn't win often, but he is one of the better ones in here and he could pop in this spot where it appears there will be a solid early pace. (4) DREAMY FELLA can also close late here and take a share.
Race 2
(1) QUADRANGLE produced a second excellent effort in a row last time, but the winner was too tough; top call here. (5) DRAFT YEAR was also in against a very strong winner last time and he figures here; using. (10) POUND STERLING keeps finding ways to make it onto the ticket and he can add some value to the exotics from out there. (2) EMBOLDEN got hammered at the windows last week but he had little fight in the lane; small share predicted.
Race 3
(2) STOLEN ART fired home in 27 flat last week but the chalky winner wasn't being caught that night. I'll give him the nod here. (4) FOOT SOLDIER tripped out then exploded late to win last time. The questions are: does he need that trip to win, and, can he get it again tonight? (6) REAL WILLEY has done well in Moreau's barn and he is a contender here again. (5) THE COLONEL steps up off a win where he rode the pylons throughout. He should be good for a slice here.
Race 4
(3) WOODMERE CEILIDH has been showing some signs of improvement lately and in a wide-open race, I'll go price searching with her. (4) E R RHONDA fits better at this level and she should be heard from here. (5) VINES TO HEAVEN finished with pace last time now she drops a level. She is another who can take this. (1) ON THE MINUTE MARK should trip well leaving from the inner post and she can share.
Race 5
(6) HUMBOLDT takes a hefty class plunge here and this is a field that he should have no trouble beating. (5) SHADOW MOON was close to winning in this class three starts back and with poor results in his last two starts, he could add some value to the exacta here. (7) JOHNNY BE GOOD is in great form and although these are tougher, he can pass a few rivals late here and get on the board. (3) CLASSY DRAGON stole a nice third 1/4 breather last time, but he couldn't convert. Small share predicted for him this time.
Race 6
(8) BIG BANG BOOM was a winner last time he raced in this class so there should be a big speed try coming here. (2) MESSI N shows a sub-1:51 win two starts back and he goes for the top barn after shipping in; using. (3) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ was sharp in victory when claimed but this is a much tougher class and a small share is likely his ceiling here. (1) MCKINNEY drops but he is unreliable, and a smaller share is predicted for him here.
Race 7
(4) POINTOMYGRANSON was kept in last week and he finished with pace. He can beat these if he gets put into the race. (2) PHANTOM SEELSTER couldn't go with the big boys last time, but he gets class relief an inside post and driver Roy back so he should be right there this time. (3) MONGOLIAN HERO N comes off two solid tries vs. the classy Sintra. He's not out of this. (5) EAST END races better for Drury who returns here. He can take a slice vs. these.
Race 8
(8) ARTISTIC MADISON races better the colder it gets, and she may blast to the front and not look back here. (3) THE DRAGON ROCKS comes to play every week and she's hard to leave out. (4) BETTORS UP projects to get a good trip near the front here; using. (6) OUTLAW FIREBALL has been closing well most weeks and she can take a piece of this.
Race 9
An excellent clash shapes up here between (4) SINTRA and (5) EASY LOVER HANOVER, both riding win streaks. I'll take Sintra this time based on his impressive mile last week. Easy Lover Hanover seems to be great every winter and he's the one to knock off, although none of them win forever. (8) ISITFRIDAYYET followed the choice home last week for second and he could add some value to the exotics here starting from the outer post. (7) NOCTURNAL BLUE CHIP is always around the money it seems, and he should finish on the board again despite missing some time.
Race 10
(2) ACTING OUT showed little last time as one of the favorites, but he had missed three weeks then and he returns in a week now; another chance. (8) OFFICER JONES rolls home quickly every week and although it will be tough from out there, it's not impossible; using. (3) ABOUT A BOY merits a look on the class drop here. (4) CARTOON DADDY tripped well to beat lesser; small share predicted here. (5) SOME PLAYA can close late to take a share in this field.
