(4) ISITFRIDAYYET raced much better in his second start back and he looks ready for a winning effort now; top call. (1) IDEAL JET gets to drop to the bottom conditioned level here after missing a check last week and he should be heard from in this spot; using. (2) CINNABAR DRAGON also drops, and he should be sent forward leaving the gate here. He’s another in with a chance in a contentious opener. (8) THE REV took a big shuffle in an added distance race last time; consider for exotics here on the drop.
Race 2 - NW $22,000 L5 or $30,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $55,000 AE: 3YO
(4) EAST END and (7) ROYAL RENEGADE both drop from the Preferred here. I'll give a slight nod to the former who may be more forwardly placed early but use both in the Pick 4. (6) NIRVANA SEELSTER raced better last time and he could go a long way on the lead again. (2) B STONEY is a sharp sophomore that got a perfect trip win last time, but he should contend for a share here.
Race 3 - NW $10,000 L5 or $25,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $30,000
(1) BUZZ drops and draws inside in what should be a good spot for him; slight nod. (10) P L JILL is an obvious top contender here but I'm not sure a second-tier post is good for her; your call. (4) KAMERAN HANOVER is sharp and he comes off a good effort; using underneath. (2) WILLYORWONTHE should get a good trip racing near the front here and he could upset if he rides the pocket throughout.
Race 4 - 5YO and Younger NW3 or $50,000 LT - **GTD $50,000 Pick 4**
(10) WINDSUN RICKY continues to be sharp and he could go off at an overlaid price here; slight nod. (3) LYONS PEGASUS shoots for a fifth straight win but he has been off a month since getting sick and that may be a chink in his armour here. (7) CAPTAIN CASH is worth a look for the exotics exiting non-winners of five races at Harrah's Philly. (4) ST LADS THRILLER will likely look to sit in and come on late again and he is a good one to use on the bottom of Tris and Supers.
Race 5 - NW $18,000 L5 or $26,000 L10 or NW $120,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $45,000
The two sophomores look best in here and I'll side with the one who has the more recent action. (4) HERVEY HANOVER has two wins and a second since (1) ROCKME ROLLME last raced against him (and won). Using both in the multi-race tickets but leaning to the former for the win. (3) LISBURN is sharp but needs a trip. He isn't out of the question here. (2) TORRIN HANOVER should be coming on late to take a share.
Race 6 - NW $8,000 L5 or $16,300 L10 or NW $70,000 LT
(8) BETTOR OPS N is sharp - see his recent 26 2/5 kicker - and this class drop should be just what he needs to get back on the winning track; top call. (6) REAL WILLEY also drops, and he should get a good trip racing near the front; using. (10) NOCTURNAL BLUE CHIP could get a nice trip here starting from the second tier; using underneath. (9) HP NAPOLEON will be passing horses late again, but he likely finishes on the edges here.
Race 7 - PREFERRED HANDICAP
(8) EASY LOVER HANOVER continues to race well every week and the outer post shouldn't slow him down here. (6) POINTOMYGRANSON wasn't far behind the choice last week and he is in with a puncher's chance here. The two top mares in the grounds face males here but (4) KENDALL SEELSTER and (3) DOUBLE A MINT are both capable of hitting the board; consider using underneath.
Race 8 - HORSES WHO HAVE RACED FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS IN ONE OF LAST 3 STARTS. AE: NW $5000 LAST 10 STARTS. 1 3/8 MILE.
(6) KEEP COMING had a long journey last time when racing at this extended distance vs. better and he kept going forward. He should be tough in here. (5) OFFICER JONES raced well at 1 3/8 miles two starts back but he was just too far behind. He can win this if he is in range at the head of the lane. (3) BIG BANG BOOM may blast to the front early and try to lead these all the way and if he gets a breather, look out. (4) IMSPORTY fits this class well, the question is whether he'll like the distance or not.
Race 9 - NW $10,000 L5 or $24,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $30,000
(1) MONGOLIAN HERO N raced well enough to win last week. It took a rival's sub-27 final 1/4 to run him down. he gets top call here. (5) REGAL SON got hung out racing first up in that same mile and he could contend at a price here if he gets a better trip. (3) REAL SURREAL got a setup and flew by late. He is sharp and dangerous, however and not out of this. (7) P L JACKSON should be blasting early, and he should stick around to be part of the Super.
Race 10 - NW $5,000 L5 or $10,000 L10 or NW $45,000 LT
(1) WESTSLUCKY TERROR and (3) THOR DE VIE were part of a destructive pace duel last time when facing tougher. They both get to drop in class here and should be tough in this spot. Slight nod to the former who could sit a perfect trip this time. (2) CORTEZ THE KILLER should sit a good trip here and contend for a good share. (6) ROCK THIS WAY will be winding up from far back and passing a fee of these late. (10) MAJOR HILL should get a following trip and sneak into the High-5.
