Race 1
In a race where none of the regulars have much form to speak of, I'll take a shot with shipper (6) FLYING ISA N who enters a live barn and comes off an 11-win season. (7) SOUTHWIND TESLA takes a big class plunge here so she figures to wake up, but I wouldn't take odds-on, which is possible. (8) MUSICAL SPELL is capable of upsetting at this level, especially if he gets sent hard off the gate. (5) ETRUSCAN HANOVER is unpredictable - as always - yet capable; your call.
Race 2
(3) KENDALL SEELSTER is in great form and she always seems to work out a good trip. She's the one to beat again. (4) DOUBLE A MINT tired on a night where the front wasn't great. She can bounce back with a better try. (1) REQUEST FOR PAROLE is classy and game and she should hit the Tri here at a minimum. (2) P L HURRICANE should sit a trip and take a slice same as she did last week.
Race 3
(2) LEGAL POWER shakes the dominant Phantom Seelster here and he is a logical short-priced Pick 5 single in this spot. (1) STOLEN ART had no chance to rally into a 27 4/5 kicker from last, but he moves inside here and could provide some exacta value. (4) LARRYS PETROCK should be closing in the lane to get onto the Tri ticket here. (5) RACEMUP should get a decent trip near the front and he could better this placing if he rides the choice's pocket all the way.
Race 4
(2) NAUGHTY LADY B was good in this class last time, leaving hard then coming on again late after being shuffled. She has a decent shot from an inside post this time. (7) KAYS SHADOW is an obvious contender on the class drop, but she's no lock here. (5) ON THE MINUTE MARK was a winner in this class on November 30th , so you know she fits; using. (3) WOODMERE CEILIDH faces easier in her fourth start for Auciello. You cold try worse bombs than her.
Race 5
(5) MAKE SOME LUCK was parked to the 1/4 getting the lead then re-rallied up the inside late which likely wasn't the best part of the track that night. He should be formidable here with the move to the middle of the gate. (9) SIR GALAHAD was closing late but he ran out of track in a decent first start out of the Bako barn. I'll use him as a price possibility on multi-race tickets. (1) CLASSY DRAGON is capable, but he needs to find a way to work out a better trip. (4) DARKEST SECRET slowed the choice's momentum in early stretch and he is likely to lead here again then hang around for a small share.
Race 6
(8) LISVINNIE drops back into a claimer which is where he does his best work. He gets top call here. (7) ROCKY J SQUIRREL also comes up tagged and he should wake up with a much better try here. (6) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ is always right there at this level and he could get claimed again here; using. (5) ROCKIN WIZARD faces easier here and he's another that could take this contentious dash with the right trip.
Race 7
(9) NIRVANA SEELSTER's form is improving and he gets a good chance to take his first 2019 win with the class drop here. (1) AMERICAN VIRGIN is capable vs. these and he may be tight enough now; using. (6) ALWAYS A HOTSHOT was a winner last time he raced in this class and Drury should be sending him. He's capable. (7) ALEXAS JACKPOT was dead game last week but this is a big step when you consider the class droppers that he must face; small share predicted.
Race 8
(9) RAMBLINGAMBLINMAN is rolling and even if he has to pass all of these, he may be up to the task. (2) MACHAL JORDAN is in a good spot here and he figures to get the jump on the choice which could land him in the winner's circle. (4) FREDDY BEAR should go better here and if he's close enough to the leader at the head of the lane, he's another in with a shot. (3) FASHIONONTHEBEACH set strong fractions en route to a win last time and he's not out of this considering he may be able to steal a breather.
Race 9
(5) ISITFRIDAYYET finished with pace again last week and not having to face Easy Lover Hanover may be all he needs to get in the win column. (1) POINTTOMYGRANSON is another who has been finishing strongly vs. better who should have a say here. (7) PHYSICALLYINCLINED will likely be chalk here after finishing ahead of the two choices last time, but I'll try to beat him in this spot. (8) SINTRA beat weaker on a wet track and he is another that could be over bet that I think is beatable in this spot.
Race 10
(5) OFFICER JONES had no problem rolling by similar last week when the pace was slowing but that was a strong effort and he gets the call to repeat. (8) ACTING OUT takes a big drop here and he should get put into action early by Roy; using. (3) TE KAWAU N can get a better trip leaving from a better post and he should take at least a slice. (6) JAYDENS PLACE was a good second to the choice last time and he figures for a piece of this. (1) MAJOR LEGACY steps up off a surprise win and in this field, he is likely a fringe player.
