Race 1
(3) MISSION THREE turned a corner on September 27th and he has been on a roll since. This will be tougher, but I'll stick with him. (4) PHANTOM SEELSTER made a huge middle move that he couldn't carry to the wire, but he should be tough here right back, especially if he can work out a better trip. (7) WALTER MITTY had a rough trip too last time and if he finds a helmet to follow this time, he could upset. (9) UPTOWN FUNK crushed non-winners of two, but he'll have to prove it here vs. tougher and starting from a worse post.
Race 2
In a race with no form, I'll try (6) ADVERSITY who is a six-time winner this year and should appreciate the class drop if he can stay flat. (5) HETTIES COMMANDER is another coming off a break that fits this class well and gets a good post to work from; using. (1) STAN THE MAN goes back into Peck's barn here and he should supply some early speed and could even go all the way with some racing luck. (4) BURNIN MONEY fits here, but with two wins in his past 55 starts, I prefer to use him underneath.
Race 3
(2) PHYSICALLYINCLINED has been sensational the past three weeks and he should take beating here again. (1) THE DOWNTOWN BUS has been similarly excellent the past couple of months. This should be a good tilt. (6) NOCTURNAL BLUE CHIP raced well last week, but that was the toughest trip he had in a while and he got beat. I don't see him tripping out here; small share predicted. (5) TRACEUR HANOVER is in solid form, too and he can round out the Super or Tri.
Race 4
(1) TWENTY THREE RED raced tough first up last week but she provided perfect cover for the winner. A slightly better trip gets her a win here. (6) KLOOF STREET is in a good spot to go on an early speed mission here and if she clears quickly, she could go all the way. (9) SHEZAREALDEAL's late kick should play well here and it wouldn't shock if she passed them all down the lane. (8) BUTTERMILK HANOVER is usually in the hunt at this level and she should be a good price; consider for exotics.
Race 5
(2) BRAVE WORLD faces way easier company here shipping in and he should beat these but offer a low price. (1) COOL ROCK is an in-and-outer who could get a good trip here if he leaves a bit. (9) LISVINNIE has been outstanding all year with 20 exacta finishes in 33 starts and while this is a much tougher assignment, he could sneak into the Tri with the way he's been going. (7) BEYOND DELIGHT is another good one to use underneath in Tris and Supers.
Race 6
(7) CLOUD NINE HANOVER can beat these if he can produce anything close to his effort from two starts back; slight nod. (8) MARQUIS VOLO couldn't reach the sharp winner last week, but he rates highly here, and I like Hudon as the driver. (5) PARKHILL NONSTOP was closing nicely at the end of last week's mile. He's not out of this. (3) WARAWEE SHIPSHAPE trotted a sharp mile when third last week and he may be rated a bit low here.
Race 7
(6) J M JACK OF HEARTS has produced three straight wins as top choice here - all at solid prices - and I see no reason to get off him here, although (1) STATEMENT MADE A should be a formidable foe this time. Slight nod to the former while using both in the Pick 4's. (7) HIDDEN DELIGHT has 10 slices in 20 tries this year including a third to the top two choices last week; using underneath. (5) CASIMIR RICHIE P is another who is always around at the wire who is in the hunt here for at least a share.
Race 8
Lasix seemed to do the trick for old pro (3) SHAMBALLA last week and he can double up here now that he's back on track. (5) MONGOLIAN HERO N also steps up one level off a sharp win and he should be a threat right back. (2) LINCOLNJAMES figures in here and he should at least hit the ticket racing from close range. (9) DUBIOUS CLAIM will be winding up from far back and he should pass a few of these down the lane.
Race 9
(2) ALWAYS A HOTSHOT couldn't stay with razor-sharp The Downtown Bus last week, but he should find this spot a bit easier; top call. (1) ROCKIN IN HEAVEN steps up but the inside post is good for him and he should provide a stern challenge. (4) TE KAWAU N drops but he's missed six weeks. I'll play to beat him. (5) MAJOR HILL should get put into action early with Drury back driving. He has upset possibilities here.
Race 10
(9) POINTOMYGRANSON finds an easier class than he's been facing at Yonkers and he has shown the gate speed needed to overcome this wide starting slot; top call. (10) ACTING OUT also drops and he merits a long look despite the bad post. (3) FREDDY BEAR fits well in this class and he should be on the move earlier; using. (8) ROCK THIS WAY will likely be closing late to finish on the edges. (1) P L IDAHO can follow along and take a small slice.
