Race 1 – ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD SUPER FINALS 3YO Fillies - **$50K GTD Pick 5**
(7) BRIGHT EYES M is peaking at the best time as she goes for $250K here. Her effort last week, trotting a sub-28 second 1/4 to take command was excellent and she gets top billing here. (6) HP TITANIA RUNNER disappointed last week at odds of 8 to 5 but she gets Filion here which means a more aggressive try is likely coming. (9) TEDDYS LITTLEANGEL was close to the choice last week and she’s in with a decent shot here. (2) ROYAL RHYTHM is always around the money and she’s a good one to use underneath here.
Race 2 – ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD SUPER FINALS 2YO Fillies
(6) ALICORN has been dominant all year vs. Ontario-breds and she is hard to go past here; top call and Pick 5 single. (7) ROSE RUN VANTAGE raced well on the lead vs. the choice last time and she can round out the Exacta here. (9) KARMA SEELSTER has amassed a good record and she beat the choice in the Battle of the Belles when that filly broke stride at the start. She should hit the board here despite her post. (8) FREE FLYIN TICKET is a good price option for the bottom of Tris and Supers.
Race 3 – ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD SUPER FINALS 2YO Fillies
(2) WINE RACK HANOVER has caught fire at a great time, and she gets the nod to take her third straight here. (4) JULA SHES MAGIC is fast but erratic. She can go a long way on the lead if she stays trotting this time. (7) WARRAWEE VICKY took a powerful win leading up to this Super Final and she is another who should be in the hunt in a contentious race. (10) SHE ROCKS KEMP has Dunn listed to drive and that’s a big plus here, but the post likely limits her to a smaller share.
Race 4 – Preferred - **$50K GTD Pick 4**
(8) EASY LOVER HANOVER is as sharp as a tack right now and post 8 here is much better than the 10-hole he drew last week; top call. (5) BRAVE WORLD continues to get stellar steers from teamster Roy, and he could trip out and score again here. (6) ROYAL RENEGADE steps up off a loss which should aid his price, but that was a terrific effort and he’s not out of this. (4) NIRVANA SEELSTER will be prominent throughout again and he should stick around to take a share.
Race 5 – ONTARIO SIRES STAKES SUPER GOLD FINALS – 2YO Colts and Geldings
(2) YS MATHIS was dead-game racing on the rim most of the way at London last time, but the winner moved at exactly the right time to get the jump. He merits top billing here. (6) DENALI SEELSTER moved before the choice could and held him at bay the rest of the way. He is sharp, but this will be tougher on the big track. (4) BEACH BLANKET BOOK rolled by late at London in a race where he was a crazy overlay. He isn’t out of this. (10) ANETO has a couple of races that puts him in the picture with these and he is a good price option to consider using underneath.
Race 6 – ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD SUPER FINALS – 2YO Colts and Geldings
(3) HP ROYAL THEO was a Grand Circuit winner at this track less than a month ago. He should be the boss here if he stays flat. (2) PORT PERRY raced tough against the choice here and he is the most likely benefactor should the choice falter. (8) BLUE CUPERTINO beat weaker now he draws outside; for the bottom of Tris and Supers. (4) YOUR STILL UP should be closing late to take a slice.
Race 7 – NW $17,000 L5 or $26,000 L10 or NW $120,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $45,000
(5) MAKE SOME LUCK was a driving-away winner in this class two starts back and starting from the middle of the gate gives him some options here; top call. (1) PEDRO HANOVER also drops and he should be coming on strong down the lane; using. (3) CASIMIR RICHIE P should go better here starting from a much better post. Toss him on Pick 4 tickets. (8) ROCKIN IN HEAVEN is another who is typically a contender at this level, and he should get sent hard early. I prefer to use him underneath, but he can win with the right trip.
Race 8 – ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD SUPER FINALS 3YO Colts and Geldings
(3) CENTURY FARROH has been king of this division all year long and there’s no reason to think he won’t beat these as he returns home from Indiana with a Grand Circuit feather in his cap. (4) BEST IN SHOW is an obvious contender this year but the choice has had his number all year long; Exacta factor. (2) BRONX SELESTER had a useful tightener for this vs. elders and he can enter exotics contention here. (1) FIXED IDEA had a nice win on Monday, and he can pass some of these and take a check.
Race 9 – ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD SUPER FINALS 3YO Colts and Geldings – Pick 4
Hambletonian winner (9) FORBIDDEN TRADE should handle his fellow Ontario-breds here and go over the $1 million mark for earnings this year. (5) KNIGHT ANGEL had a good tightener vs. some salty veterans just 5 days ago and he can offer some exotics value here. (7) ALL WRAPPED UP has given the choice some good battles already this year and he should be right there at the finish. (10) SOUTHWIND AVENGER will get dismissed here but he’s capable of hitting the ticket despite leaving from the worst post.
Race 10 – ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD SUPER FINALS 3YO Fillies
This should be a great race with some very nice fillies battling it out. I’ll go for a price with (4) SUMMER CHARM going to Burke’s barn and picking up driver Dunn. (1) POWERFUL CHRIS could be sitting on a big mile here and she too might offer a square price; using. (2) BODICEA has been good all year long and produced many wicked-fast miles. She’s hard to leave out as is (3) SUNNY DEE who has amassed 12 wins already this year.
Race 11 – NW $11,000 L5 or $22,000 L10 or NW 7 races or $100,000 LT
(8) ROCKME ROLLME is one of the sharpest horses on the grounds currently and he looks like one that will roll through several conditions. A threepeat looms. (5) ELLIS PARK has been producing big speed in his last two races and he is obviously renewed. He’s the main danger. (6) POINTOMYGRANSON took action and disappointed last time but he can rally for a piece of this. (7) AMERICAN VIRGIN comes off a nice win, but these are much tougher, and I’ll use him on the bottom of Tris and Supers only.
Race 12 – NW $5,000 L5 OR $10,000 L10 AE: NW $1,100 L3
(5) REAL SURREAL was live last week but stuck on dead cover while the leader was fleeing the scene. I’m hoping the jump in class helps his price here. (7) THORN IN YOUR SIDE drops again and if he gets sent hard early as expected, he can take these a long way. (3) ST LADS FLIRT has been 2nd in both starts that Roy drove recently. Give him a look for the late Pick 4. (10) TYGA HANOVER will get dismissed here but he’s capable of hitting the ticket vs. these. (8) DREAMY FELLA will be closing on the class drop and he’s a good one to use in the 3-4-5 slots.
