Redland Rocket Man captured the main attraction of the 2026 Ontario Sires Stakes Super Finals on Saturday night at Woodbine Mohawk Park, taking the C$350,000 3-year-old male pace and defeating Beau Jangles in the process.
Driven by Jody Jamieson, Redland Rocket Man led through fractions of 26 1/5, 54 4/5 and 1:21 4/5 while Beau Jangles (James MacDonald) followed along in third until he tipped out approaching three-quarters. Beau Jangles did make up some ground in the lane, but not enough, as Redland Rocket Man hit the wire a length and a quarter ahead of him in 1:48. Odds On Bullfrog (Travis Henry) came in third.
"My horse was large tonight, just super good," said Jamieson.
By Bulldog Hanover, Redland Rocket Man is co-owned by trainer John Pentland in partnership with Murray Cox and Gary Volpe. Bred by Redland Farms, Redland Rocket Man has eight wins, three seconds and a trio of thirds from 27 efforts, has banked C$1,121,420 and paid $4.10 to win.
"I guess I'll have to break down and do it," Pentland said when asked about supplementing the Little Brown Jug winner to next week's Breeders Crown eliminations.

That was one of three champions sired by Bulldog Hanover, as he was also responsible for both 2-year-old winners in colt Totally Tyler and filly Jersey Bulldog. Totally Tyler, driven by Jamieson for trainer Scott McEneny and owner/breeder Brad Grant, won from off-the-pace in 1:51 2/5, while Jersey Bulldog (bred by Mark Mullen and Dr. Stephen Dey III), another Pentland trainee co-owned by him with Sherri Sumner, Jack Darling Stables Ltd. and Alan Alber, turned in the fastest mile ever by a rookie north of the border, scoring for driver Bob McClure in 1:48 1/5 after she brushed to the top past the 54 1/5 half.
Muscle Mass had an equally big night on the trotting side of the ledger, also posting a siring triple. Hanover Shoe Farms-bred Detonater Hanover (Tyler Moore) took the final for the 2-year-old colts and geldings on the front-end for trainer Dr. Ian Moore and owner Detonater Hanover Stable in 1:52 2/5, Verily (Louis Roy), bred by Overseas Farms Ltd., captured the 2-year-old filly final in 1:52 3/5 for trainer Meg Crone and owner W.J. Donovan and Cher Hill, a Tom Hill homebred, captured the 3-year-old filly championship in 1:52 4/5 for driver Doug McNair and trainer Gregg McNair.
McClure also got the job done in the 3-year-old filly pace final with Cant Turn You Down (a daughter of Cattlewash bred by trainer Zachary Carroll and co-owned by him with Sean Downey) in 1:48 3/5, while Roy doubled up in the 3-year-old colt and gelding trot final with Strobe Lite in 1:52 for co-owner/trainer Ben Baillargeon, co-owner/breeder Glengate Farms and co-owners Claude Hamel and Nunzio Vena.
