The father/son, trainer/driver combination of Gregg and Doug McNair teamed up to win an Ontario Sires Stakes Gold Series event and two Grassroots Series finals on a stakes-filled Saturday night at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
The McNairs took the C$150,000 Gold Series tilt for 2-year-old pacing fillies with Aceandaten (by Cattlewash and bred by Tara Hills Stud Ltd. and Bellevue Farms, paid $10.70 to win) in 1:51 for owner Jason Castellan. Earlier, they took a pair of C$100,000 Grassroots Series finals with 3-year-old trotting filly Barbara May (by Alarm Detector and bred by owners Tom and Elizabeth Rankin, paid $2.40 to win) in 1:53 and 2-year-old pacing C Script (by Sportswriter and bred by owners Gregg McNair, McKinlay & Fielding, M&s Racing Stable Inc. and Dr. Chris Robson, paid $6.90 to win) in 1:50 3/5.
Driver Jody Jamieson also made multiple appearances in the winner's circle as he took both C$100,000 Gold Series races for 2-year-old male pacers with Totally Tyler (by Bulldog Hanover and bred by owner Brad Grant, paid $21.10 to win) in 1:49 for trainer Scott McEneny and No More Exs (by Big Jim and bred by owner Daniel Sarafian, paid $5.20 to win) in 1:51 for trainer Murray Brethour.

After winning at The Red Mile earlier in the day with Beau Jangles, Dr. Ian Moore collected two Grassroots Series trophies. He sent out 2-year-old pacing filly We Want It All (by Bulldog Hanover and bred by Sergent Stables, paid $2.30 to win) to a 1:51 4/5 victory for driver Louis Roy and owner Brad Grant and 3-year-old pacing col Odds On Bullfrog (by Bulldog Hanover and bred by Odds On Nourrir, paid $8.40 to win) to a 1:49 3/5 triumph for driver Travis Henry and owner Odds On Racing.
The remainder of the OSS Grassroots champions were:
--Stormont Violet (a 2-year-old trotting filly by Alarm Detector bred by owner Stormont Meadows, paid $3.70 to win) in 1:54 4/5 for driver Tyler Borth and trainer Kevin Benn;
--Graceful King (a 2-year-old trotting gelding by King Of The North bred by Andrew Shrock, paid $12.30 to win) in 1:53 3/5 for driver Mark MacDonald, trainer Shawn Steacy and owners Landmark 19 Racing Stable, Hudson Standrdbrd Stb Inc., Bertrand Gilhespy Stable and Stephen Downey;
