Woodbine Mohawk Park: New wagering format coming in 2020

Woodbine Entertainment today (12/23) announced a pair of new multi-leg wagers and the return of the Can-Am Pick-4 for the 2020 live racing season at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

Starting January 4, 2020, Woodbine Mohawk Park will introduce Rolling Doubles and a Late Pick 5 for every card of live racing.

The Rolling Doubles start with the traditional Daily Double on Race 1 and continue with a new Double starting in every race until the Late Double. The regular Double minimums and takeout apply.

The Late Pick 5 will start every night on Race 6 and features a $0.20 minimum and a 15 per cent takeout. The Late Pick 5 joins the popular Early Pick 5, which will continue to start every night on Race 1.

Woodbine Mohawk Park and The Meadowlands will again team up to offer the Can-Am Pick 4. The multi-leg wager will now be offered every Saturday night beginning January 11 and consists of the final two races at Woodbine Mohawk Park plus two races at The Meadowlands.

The Can-Am Pick 4 has a $0.20 minimum and 15 per cent takeout.

Woodbine Mohawk Park has two cards of live racing (December 23 and 26) remaining for the 2019 season. The Campbellville oval will take a break following the traditional Boxing Day matinee card before launching the 2020 live racing season on Saturday, January 4 at 7:10 p.m.
