Race 1
(5) ON A SUNNY DAY has done nothing wrong in two starts vs. tougher so far this year, she just hasn't been in position to win yet. That changes here with another drop in class and facing her own gender exclusively; top call and Pick 5 single. (4) ABSOLUT SEELSTER should set the early pace and if the choice falters, she is the logical alternative. (3) LADY CATERINA is in very good form and she should be forwardly-placed again here. She can take a slice. (1) JUSTASMALLTOWNGIRL hasn't won yet this year, but she is a good one to use underneath.
Race 2
(1) WHITE TIGER was as advertised in easily winning his debut, trotting a decisive 27 3/5 third quarter in the process; call to repeat. (2) A RAY OF SUNSHINE - 1/2 sister to $800K earner Lady Rainbow - looks well-prepped for a solid debut effort. (10) DARK AS A POCKET is worth a look being from the first crop of Hambletonian winner Trixton. Her lone qualifier was very good. (7) LIFETIME ROYALTY has shown good late speed in both qualifiers and he can share here.
Race 3
(4) SHESONEHOTWRITER was game in defeat to a rival who kicked it into another gear late; slight nod. (5) DEVIOUS DELIGHT is a full-sister to $161K earner Aims Whisper (1:53 2/5 F.) She improved her late speed in every qualifier; using. (6) REVIVAL CARDS was pounded at the windows for her debut, but trying to close into a 27-flat kicker was hopeless. She can go better here. (2) BETTER SINGLE is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics.
Race 4
(7) JIMMYS SECRET gets a slight nod in a field he may be able to chase down late. (6) CASIMIR OVERDRIVE could go a long way if sent to the front here; using. (4) WALTZKING HANOVER is 2 for his last 56, but coming up tagged here in a field with seemingly few leavers might be just what the doctor ordered. (2) SANTANA SASS could get a great trip near the front here and hit the ticket as a result.
Race 5
(8) CAFE SOCIETY was out a long way in her debut, but she found another gear late and prevailed in an impressive debut; call to repeat. (1) QUEBEC BLUE CHIP was equally impressive winning her debut and this race will likely come down to these two. (3) SKYHIGH AMBITION was bought for only $5,500 at Harrisburg, but she has looked good so far and she can hit the board here. (6) DEB goes for top connections coming off a sharp June 29th qualifier; use underneath.
Race 6
(3) NOT SO COOL drops following a decent effort vs. much tougher; top call. (4) MEGO MOSS moved up for Roy and that driver sticks here. A big effort wouldn't be a surprise. (5) RAMAS LAST SON won last time he raced in this class; using. (1) MUSCLE HIGH finishes 3rd 25% of the time; use underneath.
Race 7
(1) JENKINS CREEK goes for the circuit's most prolific barn racing horses fresh off a claim and he likely won't be chalk here so I give him a slight nod over (7) TOMY TERROR, who also races off the claim following an incredible 1:50 3/5 mile last week. (6) JIMMY BE GOOD finished quickly in his qualifier and he is capable vs. these if ready. (4) TOPVILLE CHEETAH can close late for a share here.
Race 8
(4) WANNA HALL raced well off a vet scratch when defeated by a rival who was taking her third straight win. He should be tough vs. these. (2) MAGICAL LADY went out too fast too early vs. OSS Gold company and tired late. She can be formidable here with a more tactical drive. (6) WILL CAN GO steps up off a sharp win for a barn that excels with young trotters. He's not out of this. (8) SMOKEE MIRRORS is risky, but if he minds his manners, he should hit the ticket here.
Race 9
(4) CLEARLY BETTER was patiently driven when 3rd to a good one in her opener. She can beat these if she gets put into play. (1) DISTURBED HANOVER will rightfully take plenty of action off her debut mile in New Jersey; using. (5) SUMMER CHARM came up against a monster in her debut and the chase was futile. She should share here. (2) CRISP MANE should be contentious using her tactical speed and she's another who should hit the ticket.
Race 10
(9) PAPARAZZI HANOVER is one of Cullen's better horses and he is capable of a big speed try if he gets sent here. I'll give him the nod in a wide-open race. (2) LATE NIGHT almost wired the field last time he raced in this class on June 10th; using. (10) DRAGON TIME has been facing much better recently and he should be a contender here despite his post. (1) SAGEBRUSH SID comes off a decent effort and he has upset possibilities here.
Race 11
(5) ROUGH TRADE has been driven twice in his career by Jamieson and both starts were wins on this circuit; price play. (6) THORN IN YOUR SIDE raced at Grand River last week to qualify for this class and he was a sharp winner. Similar front-end tactics can work well here. (4) MR MACH JIMMY drew in off the also eligible list and he is a contender at this level. (8) J JS DELIVERY couldn't chase down a tough rival last week but he should be prominent here and take at least a share. (7) JAKE LOEWEN can close quickly on occasion; use underneath.
