(8) PASSPORT HANOVER improved last week, and this barn has been running well recently; slight nod in the opener. (5) DRESS TO THE NINES made a big move that she couldn’t sustain but that was a decent try and she could pop here if she can work out a better trip. (1) SOUTHWIND PRIMA will take plenty of action off last week’s solid try and she’s another possibility in a contentious opener. (4) BETTERTHANBAD is the fourth one I am going to use in the opening leg of the Pick 5. This race should be decided by trip.

Race 2 – Two Year Olds

(4) FULL VIEW raced tough last week in his debut only to be shaded right on the wire in an unlucky loss. I’ll give him top call here. (5) A POSITIVE HANOVER may have slowed things down too much last time. I’ll use him in this Pick 5. (1) GOLDEN SAND goes for connections that like to win early and he looks ready; using. (2) MANLICIOUS also goes for a barn that sends them ready; consider for exotics.

Race 3 – OSS Gold 2YO Fillies

(3) BOLD N SPORTY had a useful opener and she should be all-systems-go here. (5) FREE FLYIN TICKET looks ready to fire a big debut effort; using. (6) MS BRAMPTON BEAST has been training well all winter and she’s on my Pick 5 ticket here. (1) WATCHFUL EYE goes for top connections. Tab the tote for clues with this one.

Race 4 – OSS Gold 2YO Fillies - GTD $50K Pick 4

(8) ALICORN is one that I have been high on and last week she simply ran out of racetrack in a race that was more a prep for this much bigger pot. I’ll go out on a limb and single her in this spot. (1) OFF THE PRESS is an obvious contender off her impressive debut mile when behind the choice but firing a 25 4/5 kicker. (2) KIT is worth a look for the exotics being sent out by the Moore barn. (6) KARMA SEELSTER should be in the mix for at least a share.

Race 5 – F&M 5YO and Younger NW3 or $45K LT

(3) SKATER CHICK flashed good late zip vs. slightly better last time, and she gets post relief here; top call. (4) UNDEFIABLE will get hammered at the windows exiting Grand Circuit races and while she is a contender here, she is far from a lock. (6) SPORTY TORI was an easy winner the first time McNair drove and she’s in the picture here. (2) TEQUILA PARTY will be part of the early pace and she can stick around for a share.

Race 6 – OSS Gold 2YO Fillies

(1) TRAFALGAR was moving well at the end of her debut and Roy should get more aggressive here racing for $73K; top call. (8) ALL DAY SUNSHINE dug in to hold off a tough foe after cutting pedestrian fractions for the first 3/4. She should have more speed to offer when needed. (7) TEMAGAMI SEELSTER was passively driven last time but has obvious ability and she should be a contender for the top prize here. (5) WIGGLE DELIGHT has trained well for a barn that has been sending everything out ready; consider for exotics.

Race 7 – Ontario Sired 3YO Fillies Grassroots Starters in 2019 that are NW of $17,500 in 2019

(5) MY BABY GIRL got a major driver change last week and she overcame early trouble to win going away. She gets the call to repeat here. (2) SALUTATION was out too long last time. A better trip puts her right there on the wire. (6) TRIP ACES HANOVER rode a front-end bias to a runner-up finish last time. She can take a share here. (4) CAFÉ SOCIETY was at the mercy of a track that no one could close on last week. She could offer some value here.

Race 8 – NW $15K L5 or $36K L10 AE: NW $120K LT or OPT CLM $40K

(3) CATCH THE DREAM always gets a more aggressive steer when he gets class relief, and this is a notable drop; top call. (4) EXEMPLAR is usually right there when he races at this level and he should be blasting here; using. (2) KADABRA QUEEN was unlucky last time when the winner slipped up the inside down the lane. That was a good effort and she is a player here. (9) WHAT CHAPTER continues to hang when it counts most. I’ll use him underneath only.

Race 9 – F&M 5YO and Younger NW6 or $70K LT

(6) IDEATION HANOVER has recaptured her best form now and she should be tough here right back. (3) DEB exits some impossible spots and she should be prominent throughout here. (1) BETTER BE DONNA N raced great, but the choice was a little better last time. She remains a viable threat. (2) KYLIE SEELSTER rode a front-end bias to victory last week vs. easier. I’ll use her underneath here.

Race 10 – F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $25K LT

(6) HAKIMA was loaded with nowhere to go for most of the stretch drive last week and she is sure to be well-bet off that race, but she gets the nod, nonetheless. (1) ABUELITA HANOVER slid up the inside while the choice was trapped and that was the difference, but she is a contender right back. (3) BLUEWATER BEACH will be up on the pace but the top two just look faster right now. (8) HIGHMOON SUNSHINE was an easy winner but most leaders couldn’t be touched that night. I’ll play to beat her here. (9) SAINT ALBRAY is a good one to use on the bottom of the exotics for some value.
