Race 1
(6) THE POWER OF MANY simply lays over these currently and she should convert as a big favorite here to kick off the Pick 5. (7) STONEBRIDGE HALL may be able to secure the pocket early here and if he does, he can complete the exacta. (5) LABATT HANOVER is in the exotics mix here and he should be positioned close to the lead early, too. (3) AVUNCULAR was 2nd to the choice two starts back and he should land on the ticket somewhere here.
Race 2
(4) BRIGHT EYES M is the first foal of a $460,000 earning dam and she brought $72K at the Lexington sale. Her 28-flat kicker on June 22nd should have her primed perfectly for this. (2) DREAM NATION - a $42K Lexington buy - looks ready and he should be right there in this debut. (8) FINAL ANSWER qualified sharply on June 15th and he's another to consider for the Pick 5 as is (9) PETRO HALL who currently has a decent full-sister racing in the three-year-old OSS ranks.
Race 3
(3) CRISP MANE went from 1st to 4th in the final 1/4 despite pacing in 27 4/5 in her debut. The winner was very tough in that race and this looks like an easier spot; slight nod. (4) WARRAWEE ULLA - a $30K London Select Sale purchase - looks ready to produce right away; using. (7) SUNSHINEATTHEBEACH exits the same dash as the choice where the back half was paced five seconds faster than the opening frame. I'll use her in this spot. (2) KYLIE SEELSTER improved in her second qualifier and she can take a slice here.
Race 4
(1) MANOFMANYIMAGES couldn't get close last time despite trotting his back 1/2 in 56 flat. He was a winner three starts back in a similar class and he should be put into this race early; top call. (7) WESMONT is another who should get good position early. He should be a threat here. (9) MEGO MOSS is worth a look on the class drop exiting a fast race. (8) MUSCLE HIGH was impressive winning a class lower last time and he's another in with a chance in a contentious dash.
Race 5
(6) SINGHAMPTON KENNY won for the first time this year when racing off the claim last week and in doing so he took a new life's mark; call to repeat. (9) JIMMYS SECRET could get a similar faltering late pace as he did last time when he rolled by late in the mile; using. (4) ONE WARRAWEE tried the choice first up last time and was repelled. He could share here if he works out a better trip. (7) JENKINS CREEK should be able to hit the Super ticket from this post.
Race 6
(5) SOS MESMERIZE has been sharp in both of her last two tries. She can break through here. (10) NORTHERN LIGHTNING isn't the most obvious one to include in the Pick 4, but he qualified well with Roy driving and now he adds Lasix, so I'll use. (3) CHEATALOTPOV lands in a good spot to make his debut and he can hit the board vs. these. (8) BIGBOY ROSCO always lands on the edges it seems and he's a good one to use underneath here.
Race 7
(2) PRESCIENT BEAUTY is a homebred full-sister to Precocious Beauty (1:50 1/5 S.; $869K) and she looks ready to rock at first asking; top call. (1) SUMMER CHARM is a well-related $60K Lexington buy who merits a close look here. (6) SOFT WIND HANOVER was bought for $80K at Harrisburg and she goes for a barn that sends them ready; using. (3) CHURCH BELLS is another that looks live in an interesting race.
Race 8
(3) N EXPENSE goes for a hot barn that has clicked at a 42% rate with fresh claims this year; top call. (9) FERN HILL BREEZE is looking for six straight wins and his trainer has a 41% strike rate with new claims so far in 2018; using. (5) TOMY TERROR also races off the claim, for an outfit with a 32% strike rate off the claim. This should be one of the night's more interesting races. (2) SURF REPORT is yet another racing off the claim for another high percentage outfit. I'll use all four of these in the late Pick 4.
Race 9
(7) EX HANOVER showed what she could do when she is within striking range at the head of the lane and the step up here is not that steep; call to repeat. (1) THE FIRST CHAPTER looked like a good one breaking his maiden easily at first asking but these are much tougher, and he could get over bet here. (4) HIGHLAND DYNAMITE will be a threat if he stays trotting this time. (9) WAR STORY faces much easier here for his second 2018 start, but post does him no favors; small share predicted.
Race 10
(3) MODERN REFLECTION took a trip to Grand River to race for a purse that qualifies him for this class and he was very good winning from the 8 hole. His class can prevail here. (7) MOONWRITER - as expected here - was excellent when returning to his former barn last week and he should be the main threat to the choice. (10) WALTZKING HANOVER raced big last week and he is sure to get overlooked here starting from out there. I'll use him underneath. (1) JACK RACKHAM can get a good trip here and take a slice. (2) J J S DELIVERY should get a spot near the front early then stick around to make the High 5 ticket.
