We'll kick off one of the toughest cards of the year giving (2) SUPERLATIVE a slight nod in a contentious opener after she got a clean line last week when coming off a break in stride. (5) TAX SAVINGS was sharp on the front end but she beat easier and she may be in a stalking role here. (3) WHAT CHAPTER looked a winner at the tote board but he couldn't get past stubborn class-dropper Bautista. His current string of seconditis is worrisome. (7) KADABRA QUEEN may get sent this time which gives her a better chance.

Race 2 - F&M 4YO and Younger NW 1 or $7KLT

(4) DRESS TO THE NINES drops back to a maiden race and her race two starts back puts her right there with these. (5) TEAL HANOVER is worth a look moving into a barn that has been excellent all meet long; using. (6) MY BABY GIRL can be quirky, but she should be fast enough to contend here if she behaves. (2) BIG NARANCIA should be passing rivals late to take a share.

Race 3 - CLM HDCP $10K to $25K

(2) DOVUTO HANOVER figures to get another good trip racing near the front here and he gets the call to repeat. (1) WHO SAID NOT TO is hot and goes for Puddy off the claim. He should be the one to catch. (3) SECTIONLINE ROCK is an auto-use off the Gallucci claim. (5) JIMMY BE GOOD should pass at least a couple of these in the back 1/2.

Race 4 - NW $15K L5 or $28K L10 AE: NW $120K LT or OPT CLM $40K

(5) MR CONTESTANT raced tough vs. a classy winner last time and I am going to take a stand and make him a single on a night where it's hard to find one. (3) DUNBAR HALL chased the Hemi Seelster smoke show last week and it was hard to close as that leader was not slowing down. He fits here and should be heard from. (7) ROYAL WITCH won a race where she absolutely looked best but this is tougher; your call. (1) P L JILL is one I can never seem to get right. She is so unpredictable from week to week but is obviously capable at this level.

Race 5 - NW $6K L5 or $13K L10

(10) DR SPENGLER has no shot last time as he was too far back and the track was playing to the front end. Post 10 is no help here, but if he can get started up early enough, he might pass them all. (2) JUST FOR YOU should go better here moving back inside; price look. (5) HEY LIVVY is capable of taking these a long way on the lead if she behaves; using. (4) SETANTA is likely to close for a small share.

Race 6 - ONT Sired 3YO Fillies Grassroots starters in 2019

(3) KYLIE SEELSTER was no match for a very impressive filly last time but she stacks up well here with that rival gone; top call. (1) CINDERELLA DELIGHT made two moves to win from the worst post now she moves inside. She is the main rival. (4) WHITEHAVEN BEACH made a big move in the slop then fell just short. She's another chance in a contentious field. (5) CRISP MANE is racing very well right now; consider for Tri and Super bets.

Race 7 - NW $10,200 L5 or $20K L10 AE: OPT CLM $30K

(4) DREAM TOGETHER adds Lasix and lands in a spot where she should win if she can produce close to her best. (2) HIGHLAND TOP HILL was good last week but the winner was just better. She can contend again. (3) KAMERAN HANOVER gapped cover in a rapid third 1/4 then he closed well late. He should be right there again. (6) MARQUIS VOLO should improve on the class drop, but he may have too far to come late in the mile.

Race 8 - Preferred

(5) RUN DIRECTOR faced some of the best down south last time and with Musical Rhythm out of town, this should be his race for the taking. (7) HEMI SEELSTER trotted off on his own until late in the mile, helped by a speed-favoring strip. If he can produce sub-1:52 speed again, he will be right there. (4) B YOYO should go better here and he can share. (6) DANCER HALL likely needs one to get his legs back. I'll tab him for next week.

Race 9 - ONT Sired 3YO Fillies Grassroots starters in 2019 NW of $15K

(7) HIGHMOON SUNSHINE shows a race four starts back that could win this. I'll give her a slight nod in a race where there is little solid form. (6) CAFE SOCIETY made a move she couldn't sustain last time but this is an easier spot and she could pop here. (1) ERIKAS SHADOW comes off a solid effort at big odds. She isn't out of this. (3) SUGAR SHADOW is a good one to use in the 3-4 slots in Tri and Super bets.

Race 10 - F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $25K LT

(3) TARRYN A STRIP made two moves to win for a hot barn last time and she gets my call to repeat here. (2) CHOCOLATMILKTOAST has hit her best stride and it won't be long before she records her second win; using. (8) ABUELITA HANOVER was a good second to the choice last time but post may be an issue here; using underneath. (1) BE BEST drops from the Gold division here and it wouldn't shock if she bettered this placing. (4) HAKIMA should pass a few of these to finish on the edges.
