Race 1
(1) J M MANDAMIN will likely get pounded here off his 1:52 4/5 mile when second to the red-hot Tragically Zip, but if he repeats that effort he should convert. (3) BRONSONS DELIGHT is likely the main threat here coming off a shuffled trip vs. North America Cup eligible Capitano Italiano. (6) ST LADS CASH has been sharp in every start so far this year and he should contend for at least a share. (4) DREAMFAIR CHARRO is probably better when raced as a stalker and he can pass many of these to hit the ticket.
Race 2
(6) WESMONT looked like he had the leader in his sights in deep stretch last week, then he broke for a couple of strides which may have cost him the win. He should get another good trip near the front here; slight nod. (4) REVENUE AGENT tripped-out perfectly to win in the slop but notice he's won his last three starts over this track. He's a top contender here. (7) ADVERSITY gets no favors from the draw, but he is a solid one to use underneath at this level. (8) LADY CATERINA is quite sharp right now and she should be blasting for position again. She should stick around for a share.
Race 3
(1) MISTER MAGIC probably loses his huge price on the tote here coming in with two straight upset wins, but if he powers home in 28 and change again, he'll be hard to hold off. (5) SHES GOT PIZAZZ has been sharp for several weeks and she should get a good trip here; using. (3) CINDY LYNN faces tougher here, but she has shown versatility recently and she's not out of this. (4) EYES COOL is worth a look on the barn change alone, but he may need one after missing three weeks.
Race 4
(6) BRICKMAN deserved the win last week with all the work he did, but he was chased down late by a rival that latched onto his cover for the final 3/8ths of the mile. He gets top billing here. (4) MERVS TRU LEGACY was in to go Friday at press time, making hIs first start for a new barn. I picked him to win there, so if he performs well, he could do here on the quick return. (7) ER QUINN will be leaving again but a smaller share seems likely for him. (9) LAUTNER SEELSTER has been showing some signs recently and he could boost the exotics payoffs starting from the widest post.
Race 5
The shape of this race seems primed for closers to roll by late, so I'll give a slight nod to (5) MEADOWBRANCH MEMO who could be in the perfect spot to capitalize. (6) CATCH THE DREAM is another who should be live late in the mile here. Toss him on multi-race tickets. (3) ODD BALL was nailed late in another good effort and he seems to fit well here. (9) WILD AND CRAZY GUY drops, and he could be one of many looking for the top early here.
Race 6
(7) CROCADILE CANYON took no prisoners in his first start for Auciello and he could be tough to catch here, too. (5) LEVY TAYLORE got claimed back by trainer Johnson who won with him on March 4th. He should be a threat. (2) WESTERN PHIL steps up off a big win but loses Roy, who used his best bottoming out of the field technique in that race. I have mixed feelings here and will use him underneath in this spot. (3) DARCEE N has shed his winless issue nicely, taking two of his last four starts, but he performs better at the bottom level; small share predicted.
Race 7
(5) MONOPOLY has developed a serious late kick recently and Mayotte times it well. I'll stick with him while he's hot. (2) PINK PISTOL gets McDonnell here after breaking and she should contend if she stays flat this time. (6) BAUTISTA will get heavily backed dropping from the top class and while he is a contender, he's no lock here. (4) DERF HANOVER raced tough against the choice last time. He merits inclusion in the exotics this time.
Race 8
(3) OH K MAN was way out of position last week and with the field shrinking here, he should be in a good spot turning for home; one more chance. (6) OSIRIS BLUE CHIP set big fractions and understandably stopped late. Drury likely learned some things there and he should be a threat making his second start out of the Auciello barn. (2) LEADER TONIGHT drops into a claimer for the first time which is often a potent angle. I'll use him in this Pick 4. (7) JIMMY BE GOOD will probably be trying to pass them all late. A smaller share is likely for him.
Race 9
(3) MUSICAL RHYTHM has raced too well the past three starts to not get rewarded with a win; his turn tonight? (4) P L JILL charges home in 27 and change every week and she is hard to leave off tickets at this point. (1) CUE HALL will no doubt be up near the front again and he should get a good trip to take a good share. (2) B YOYO was hot earlier in the winter, but he seems to be a fringe player at the present time; using on the bottom.
Race 10
(7) FREDDY BEAR made two moves racing in this class on Thursday night and he finished a solid third. He gets the call here. (3) JAYDENS PLACE showed little in the same race, but he gets better results when he gets sent early and post relief here could see him blast. (1) LEAFS AND WINGS blew up the tote in this class two starts back and he could get a dreamy trip here; using. (2) PILLAGE AND BURN should sit another nice trip here. Use him in the bottom slots of Tris and Supers. (8) OFFICER JONES exits the same race as the top two choices but from this post, he is probably destined for the same result.
