Race 1
Driver Jamieson seems to have found the key to (2) DEWEYKEEPMNWHY and I'll stick with him here going for the threepeat. (5) WESMONT fits this level and I expect him to get put into play early this time; using. (3) ZEUS LIGHTNING is right there most weeks, but a smaller share is what he usually gets; using underneath. (1) LETS LEAVEM was decent in this class last time and he can take another share here.
Race 2
(3) CAPTAIN DRAGON drops to the bottom and if there's a spot where he's going to wake up, this is it. (1) ER QUINN raced tough last week but no one was beating the claimed winner. He's a logical contender here. (2) BRICKMAN tried it first up in the same race in a decent effort and I'll use him in this Pick 5. (5) DARCEE looks like a fringe player again here. Use him on the bottom.
Race 3
(1) FLY BEYOND was backed up by his cover on the final turn and that horse then sprinted in the lane and couldn't be caught. The short field helps, and he gets the nod here. (5) VEYRON was no match for the new and improved Odd Ball last time, but he rates highly here; using. (3) DERF HANOVER exits the same race as the choice and he can be closer here racing on or near the front. (2) QUADRANGLE will likely look for a trip here and come late to take a share.
Race 4
(5) SHADOW OF LINDY exits a very quick race from Thursday night and with none likely to pace under 1:52 here, he stands a decent chance. (6) PHIL THE THRILL can get more aggressive now that he has a clean line and he should be a factor here. (2) UF BETTORS HANOVER had no chance in the same race as the choice. Look for him late here. (1) PILLAGE AND BURN can rally for a share if he gets out into the flow this time.
Race 5
(4) CAPITANO ITALIANO is obviously the fastest horse in this race and if the intent is there, he should have no problem kicking his sophomore campaign off with a win. (3) FIXED IDEA has shown promise in every start, but he's now missed more than three weeks; your call. (8) BR EZLIKSNDYMORNIN showed some ability last year and he could add some value to the exotics here with a late charge to hit the board. (9) LEADER TONIGHT drops one level and adds Lasix and he is another who could boost exotic payoffs here starting from the worst post.
Race 6
(5) FREE WILLY HANOVER goes for three straight facing a weaker Preferred field than he beat last week. Drury may just send him right down the road here. (1) CUE HALL is one of few that seem to like to leave here so I'll add him to the Pick 4 ticket. (6) P L JILL is almost impossible to predict week in and week out, but the pace scenario seems to be against her this week. (7) B YOYO will probably be closing late for a slice again.
Race 7
(5) LEVY TAYLORE moves into trainer Shepherd's barn here while two others move out. I'll give him the call over (3) KWICKY KWANZAA who comes off a sharp win when claimed. (6) CROCADILE CANYON almost surely will get sent early here and he should be the one to catch. I'm using all three of these in the Pick 4's. (4) MISTER GODRO has a great record this year and he should get in the Super again here.
Race 8
(1) ODD BALL has looked like a new horse in this barn and he's tough to go against despite the move up here. (2) SHES GOT PIZAZZ has found her best stride of late and she should trip out here and take a big share. (7) GALLANT MAN couldn't close the deal last week, but that was a strong effort and he should contend again here. (3) MISTER MAGIC beat easier and he is likely to finish on the edges vs. this group.
Race 9
(1) DUNBAR HALL takes a big class plunge here and Jamieson will likely move early and control the race. (4) PINK PISTOL has come back razor-sharp and she should be right there again despite the class rise. (2) ODDS ON AMETHYST looked like the winner last week, but the photo revealed he lost by the slimmest nose. He is talented but unpredictable. (5) O NARUTAC PERFETTO figures to close late for a share.
Race 10
(2) OH K MAN made a big final turn move on Thursday night, but the claimed winner was tracking him the whole way and nailed him late. That was a strong effort and he projects to get a good setup here. (5) LONE WOLF TERROR goes for a barn that's on fire right now and he's a must-use for me here. (8) OSIRIS BLUE CHIP was rough early last time when claimed and he gets a positive barn and driver change here; using. (6) ON CRUISE CONTROL is worth a look going for Weller for the first time here. (4) LORIS ROCK STAR should get a good trip and take a share here.
