Race 1
(7) BEE IN CHARGE exits the fastest race and drops back down to the claimed level. He should bounce back in this spot. (6) LMC MASS OAK is getting closer and his 28 2/5 kicker from last week has him primed for another good effort; using. (4) EXPLOSIVE JET steps up, but his sharp win and quick finishing speed from that race make him a contender here. (5) ON THE SLY should be passing some of these late to take a slice.
Race 2
(1) QUADRANGLE got through late then powered up for the win. He is on a roll and he should be right there again. (2) SHES GOT PIZAZZ tripped out to win her last but another great trip isn't out of the question here. (3) DONATO LANE is another who should sit a good trip near the front and provide a challenge late. (6) GALLANT MAN should be prominent early and he's not one that can be easily tossed in this competitive dash.
Race 3
(1) ILL BE BACK is getting closer for McNair driving and he may get the best trip vs. these; slight nod. (6) DREAMFAIR CHARRO impressed last week with a lethal late brush and he should be right there again. (4) SPEED TO MARKET was sent hard last week and lasted a long way. He could get a good trip on the engine here; exacta factor. (7) DONT DILLY DALLY is the type of horse that Roy can sweep by them all with in deep stretch; beware.
Race 4
(4) LEVY TAYLORE moved up last week as expected and he can repeat here. (6) CROCADILE CANYON is a must-use for me off the Shepherd claim. (7) DRAKE brings some good form in from Flamboro including a sharp win last time. He can make the ticket here. (3) CHEYENNE FORD couldn't go with the choice late when claimed. I'll use him underneath here.
Race 5
(5) PERFETTO was up against it last time trying to come first up in a 27 2/5 kicker. A slightly better trip will make him very dangerous here. (1) FLY BEYOND nailed the choice late but he had a better trip. He's a contender nonetheless in this spot. (3) NOT SO COOL came too late last week. He fits well here and is another to consider in the multis. (2) BAUTISTA enjoyed too good of a trip to lose last week. He may get more heat early here, so I'll try to beat him.
Race 6
(1) CHARLIE IS A JOKER and (3) OLE JACK MAGIC have similar scenarios here as both drop down to a level where they were winners last time they raced this low. I'll give a slight nod to the former who will likely try to control things on the front. (4) RAMAS LAST SON also drops and he offers a price alternative to the top two, but I suspect he'll round out the Tri or Super. (5) BATTING STATS offered little at odds-on last time. He can take a smaller share passing horses late.
Race 7
(10) KWICKY KWANZAA just appears to be faster than these right now and the 10-hole will help his price; top call. (3) SPIDER MAN HANOVER raced tough uncovered last time at Flamboro and he could pop here at a square price. (6) REAL WICKED rallied late to take a share vs. the choice. Expect more of the same here. (5) BRICKMAN - third to the choice last time - can be a factor for the Tri and the Super in this field.
Race 8
(5) O NARUTAC PERFETTO faces slightly easier here so he will probably get put into this race earlier; slight nod. (3) MAJOR MUSCLE got softened up a bit in a rapid third quarter when challenging first-over last time and she got picked off late. She can threaten here despite moving up. (7) CATCH THE DREAM should go better here as he will likely find a helmet to follow. (8) APRIL ROSE should be blasting off the gate and I see her sticking around for a share.
Race 9
(1) DUNBAR HALL got a clean line and raced well last week. Drawing inside he should get put into this race earlier; top call. (8) B YOYO was picked off late by the pocket sitter last week, but he remains sharp and viable. (5) CUE HALL is at the top of his form and another good trip here certainly is possible; using. (3) P L JILL was out of position last week while tracking a slow pace. She's not out of this if she gets a better trip.
Race 10
(7) WESTLUCKY TERROR set strong fractions and was the easiest of winners last week; call to repeat. (6) REAL WILLEY should get a good trip tracking the choice which makes him an exacta factor. (4) BETWEEN THE SHEETS figures to be passing many of these in the back 1/2; using underneath. (2) R BAZINGGA was no match for the choice, but that was a good effort and he's in the mix here again. (1) HES GOT SWAGGER is worth a look adding Lasix and drawing inside.
