(1) RUSTYS FLYING was closest to the choice and she is the logical alternative here. (5) HAMMERING HALEY had an impossible trip last week. She should go better here and she can hit the ticket. (3) XELENE BAYAMA is likely to be closer early here and that gives her a shot to hit the ticket.
Race 2- 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000)
(6) PROFOUND PARAGON was just too far back last time now she gets a much better post and the call to notch a slight upset over (1) H P BRUXELLES, who shoots for three straight and also draws well. I'll use both in the early Pick 5. (7) MUSCLES APLENTY brings good form over from Flamboro; for a small share. (2) HEAVENSDOOR HANOVER gets Roy for a third drive here and seeing as dropping back hasn't worked, expect him to leave here then land in the Super.
Race 3 – 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT
(2) SEBASTIAN RAY got hammered down from 10/1 morning line to even money and he was clearly ready to produce but the second tier post hurt. He gets his nose on the gate here and he should convert. (5) MALCOLM G is always around the money and he is a good bet to complete this Exacta. (4) HETTIES MAGIC projects to get a better trip here; using underneath. (10) JOANI TREELANE is capable of better but I would demand a price.
Race 4 – CLM HDCP $10,000 to $12,000 - Pick 4
(9) CROCADILE CANYON won again, was claimed, and he faces no tougher here. A fourpeat looms. (5) J J MYSTIC STORM produced an impressive late kick to bridge a large gap and win at Flamboro. Give him a look for multi-race tickets here. (6) ZEN DA BALLYKEEL has won here at this level before and he could be the one to catch here. (1) BLUE LINE was 2nd to the choice last week and he projects to get another good trip here.
Race 5 – CLM HDCP $20,000 TO $25,000
(1) BUDDHA BLUE CHIP keeps rolling and he can work out another winning trip here starting from the inside. (8) LONE WOLF TERROR is sharp now, but he is always looking to sweep them all. Any pace battle increases his chances. (3) OCEANVIEW MAGNUM was claimed despite stepping up off a loss last week. He's worth including in multi-race tickets here. (4) YOUNG DRUNK PUNK was too far back last time now he gets McClure and his price should go up; using.
Race 6 – NW $10,000 L5 or $20,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $30,000 - Late Pick 5
(5) MR CONTESTANT takes a big class dive and draws well here; no excuses in this spot. (8) KADABRA QUEEN set some big splits last time before fading late. Look for him to close late this time. (3) OH SO PINE fits well here and he should take a slice. (1) DOTTIE is a good one to use on the bottom of the Tri and Super.
Race 7 – CLM HDCP $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $75,000 LT
(8) AREUKIDDINMECABBIE was claimed and he gets Henry to drive now. Expect a more aggressive drive this time. (1) UNPRECEDENTED comes off a solid effort in his second start for Auciello and he is the one to catch here. (7) BEACH BABY BEE won at a similar level at Flamboro two starts back; using. (2) TRIDENT SEELSTER can work another good trip here into a small share.
Race 8 – NW $16,000 L5 or $28,000 L10 or NW $140,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $40,000 - Pick 4
(2) CINDY LYNN is very sharp right now and she can get another great trip racing on or near the lead here; call to repeat. (6) HEMI SEELSTER is always a threat to lead all the way, but he could also provide perfect cover for the choice here. (1) WHAT A RUSH moves up but he's sharp and he can take a share here. (5) SEEYOU MEN fits well here and he should be closing to take a small piece of this.
Race 9 – 5YO and Younger NW3 or $60,000 LT
(5) CHEDDAR BAY returns quicker and faces easier here; top call. (3) LEGION SEELSTER has a better shot here starting with his nose on the gate, He's on my late Pick 4 ticket. (7) ATLANTIS was flying late vs. a tough class-dropper and he's worth including in the exotics here. (4) MC PAT loomed, then hung; using on the bottom here.
Race 10 – NW $28,000 L5 or NW $210,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $60,000
(7) ON THE ROPES tried a first-over move last week and he got scorched in the third 1/4. I expect a speed blast this time; top call. (1) ODDS ON AMETHYST had some trot to offer late. He can be right there if he gets put into the flow this time. (6) WILD AND CRAZY GUY has never been better and he may get ignored at the windows again; using. (5) B YOYO is always a good one to use underneath.
Race 11 – NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10
(1) PRO BEACH drops to the bottom here and he should take care of business vs. this group. (9) SILVER BEAST has been facing tougher and he could enter contention at a price here. (8) OSBORNE SEELSTER can last longer vs. these; using underneath. (2) OLLIESTRIKESFAME figures to sit a good trip here and land in the Super. (7) JAYDENS PLACE can pass a few of these late. Consider using him on the bottom.
