(8) VILLEFRANCHE AS showed great resolve last week when she pulled uncovered, stalled briefly, then rolled by both the leader and pocket-sitter very late; call to repeat. (1) P C JUSTA DREAM trotted a big mile to break his maiden and Young has been a good partner for her. She should be a threat here right back. (2) PRICELESS RULER did most of the work in that race and fell just short. He's a contender again here. (4) CHICA couldn't hold the choice off after sitting a perfect trip. I'll use her underneath.
Race 2- CLM HDCP $18,000 TO $25,000
(2) JULERICA closed well on an off track last time and there should be enough speed in here to promote his potent late kick; top call. (7) BROOKLETSJUSTIFIED was right there last time when claimed and he should be prominent throughout here. (5) STOLEN ART is sharp right now for trainer Budd who tends to keep them good for a while; using. (6) KINGOFTHEJUNGLE is worth a look for the exotics making his third start back off a break.
Race 3 - NW $3,000 L5 or $7,600 L10
(2) SHES GOT PIZAZZ gets to take a multi-level class drop here and I expect and aggressive try from driver Cullen. (4) MAGIC NIGHT is capable of better than he has been showing and a class drop might wake him up here; using. (6) YOOOUKILIS typically races well at this level and he should be passing many of these late; using underneath. (7) TWOFOURROADIE is another one that should be passing some of these in the final quarter; consider for exotics.
Race 4 - CLM $8,000 to $10,000 - **GTD $50,000 Pick 4**
(2) MISSTWINKLINSJONES gets McClure here shipping in and she lands in a spot where she could get a great trip racing near the front; price play. (9) E R RHONDA is obviously one of the best in here but she can be erratic and post 9 is an added question mark; demand a price. (5) BENS JENNA is usually passing horses in the back half of her miles; using underneath. (3) CHICKIE LOVE is another shipper who could get involved at a price and she has had some success racing on this circuit previously. Give her a look for the Tri and Super.
Race 5 - CLM $15,000 TO $18,000 for NW $82,000 LT
(5) LEADER TONIGHT goes for trainer Auciello off the claim here in a race with no standouts. Expect Drury to send him on a speed mission. (1) SPEED TO MARKET looks to double up here and he should get a good trip leaving from the inside; using. (9) GO RRRILLA sports excellent current form but draws worst. Let price be your guide with this gelding. (2) YOUNG DRUNK PUNK has improving form. He could sneak onto the Tri or Super at a price.
Race 6 - NW $16,000 L5 or $29,000 L10 or NW $135,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $40,000
(7) SORTIE trotted a big mile on the rim last time and he should get a solid pace to track here; slight nod in a tough race. (2) B YOYO drops to a spot where he should be prominent. He has a big shot vs. these. (9) OH SO PINE never misses the board it seems and he comes off a new lifetime mark. He could threaten at a price here. (1) ROYAL WITCH is capable of much better. Perhaps the class drop will help her.
Race 7 - CLM HDCP $8,000 to $10,000 - Pick 4
(8) HUGHGETTHECREDIT raced well in a fast mile last time and this looks like an easier spot; top call. (7) OH K MAN has raced decently since being claimed and he isn't out of place in this spot. (10) FAMILY SPORTS gets McClure while returning from a break and he's worth a look for the exotics here. (4) KINGSLEY B adds Lasix for this try and he could race better and round out the Tri or Super.
Race 8 - PREFERRED HANDICAP
(9) TOP EXPECTATIONS doesn't have to face Emoticon Hanover this week so she should be tough in this spot despite her post. (8) ON THE ROPES figures to leave with the choice and he could land himself a perfect trip here; using. (4) P L JILL has shown on many occasions that she fits at the top level but she can be very unpredictable; demand a price here. (3) ODDS ON AMETHYST is in great form and he should be closing for at least a share.
Race 9 - NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10 - 1 3/8 Miles
(9) THE REV doesn't have to deal with Ideal Jet in this spot so if McNair sends him, he could go all the way at a price. (2) HES A SENSATION looks ready to roll coming back off a break and he should be in the mix early; using. (8) PHIL THE THRILL had some good late pace last week but the winner was too tough. He is another decent price option in this spot. (4) INDIGO ART fits better at this level . He can take a slice vs. these.
Race 10 - NW $10,000 L5 or $20,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $30,000
(1) NOTHING BUT MUSCLE was too far back in a slow pace last time. I'll stick with him at what should be a square price here. (8) SUPER SCHISSEL obviously classes up well here but his gait issues are concerning. (5) BIZET should be blasting again here and he could work out a better trip this time; using. (10) NEON LIGHTS is a great one to use at the bottom of the High-5 the way he takes frequent shares. (6) MEADOWBRANCH MEMO should be coming on late for a slice here.
