(4) CROCADILE CANYON faces easier than he beat last time and he should be mighty tough here to kick off this Pick 5. (7) ON CRUISE CONTROL was down on the dead rail in the stretch last time and he can go better here. (1) HUGHGETTHECREDIT woke up with a big win last week at Flamboro and this isn't the toughest field. He can hit the board here. (9) PERFECT VISTA can close to take another slice in here.
Race 2 - NW7 (F&M 8) or $120,000 (F&M $166,000) LT
(5) MEMO faces considerably easier and McNair has been on fire recently; top call. (4) VENUS DUHARAS should leave quicker here starting with her nose on the gate and she is the main danger. (6) CINDY LYNN created a nice trip for herself by blasting early and she should get a piece of this. (3) OH SO PINE should get a more conservative drive here and take a share.
Race 3 - 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000
(10) SEBASTIAN RAY starts for a new barn after changing hands and he has the speed to beat these if he can find the right trip after starting from the second tier. (4) JOANI TREELANE is the obvious danger after falling just short last time. (2) KOMBUCHA isn't in the toughest spot for a debut race; consider the daughter of top sire Kadabra for the exotics. (1) MALCOLM G continues to race well enough to take shares and that trend should continue here.
Race 4 – 5YO and Younger NW 3 or $57,000 - **GTD $50,000 Pick 4**
(1) MILITARY SECRET is one of the sharpest horses on the grounds and he can notch a threepeat here. (3) LYONS PEGASUS returns quicker after falling just short and he draws well. He will pose a threat. (10) LEGION SEELSTER was thwarted by a snail's pace last time and he had lots of pace late. He can close for a piece here. (8) GRAND POOBAH tripped out to win last time, but he is sharp, and he can take a share despite drawing poorly here.
Race 5 - CLM HDCP $20,000 TO $25,000
(4) YOUNG DRUNK PUNK had no choice but to chase Julerica first up last time and the chase would be futile. he can bounce back here in a race where there should be more early action. (8) HES A SENSATION plunges and takes on a $25K tag which will result in him getting hammered at the windows and most likely claimed. If he is 90% of himself, he crushes these, but the drop raises some concern. (5) BROOKLETSJUSTIFIED can wake up here racing near the front and he should be a big price; using. (3) STOLEN ART is worth a look on the barn change to Montini.
Race 6 - NW $10,000 L5 or $22,600 L10 AE: OPT CLM $30,000 – Late Pick 5
(7) KAMERAN HANOVER raced well last week but he couldn't chase down the game and classy winner who isn't in this race; top call. (1) MARQUIS VOLO can get a better start here and that puts him in the picture. (8) KADABRA QUEEN's price goes up here and she isn't out of this if she stays trotting this time. (4) FLY BEYOND will be closing again but he shows goose eggs in the win columns on his card and I'll use him on the bottom in this spot.
Race 7 - CLM HDCP $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $75,000 LT
(3) EASY FLYER was run at early in London the other night and both he and the rival that hooked him in a duel paid the price. He goes to Moreau here and gets the call to rebound. (8) AREUKIDINME CABBIE was nailed right on the line and he won't be held off much longer; using. (5) UNPRECEDENTED was put into play early Monday night but he came under siege immediately which was tough to overcome. He figures here coming back quick. (1) TRIDENT SEELSTER is a good on to use on the bottom of the Super.
Race 8 - 5YO and Younger NW 2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000)
(2) CHICA has been live but unable to work out a winning trip in her past few starts. From a good post here, tonight could be the night. (10) P C JUSTA DREAM is the sharpest horse in the field, and she is hard to leave off multi-race tickets. (8) PRICELESS RULER should be the one to catch again. The way he has been going, I prefer to use him underneath. (9) PROFOUND PARAGON loses post advantage here and I expect her to close for a small slice.
Race 9 - NW $3,000 L5 or $8,000 L10
(6) POINTOMYGRANSON dropped, popped and stopped on a night where leaders didn’t fare well. By missing a check, he gets to drop to the bottom here and he should be tough vs. these. (4) PLAY JET RAY paced two seconds faster on the same night and he should be the main danger. (8) ATLANTIS is worth a look for the exotics on the barn change to Moreau. (5) PRINT MEDIA is in solid form and he should get a good trip racing near the front here; using underneath.
Race 10 – NW $26,000 L5 or $210,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $60,000
(2) ON THE ROPES only loss at this level came two starts back where he and Royal Witch dueled each other into submission in the third 1/4. He looks solid to notch another win here. (1) P L JILL got a clean line last week, now more can be expected here. She could pop at a price. (7) PERFETTO was a bit lucky to get off the pylons on the far turn last week when a rival racing outside of him broke, but once free, he trotted away with ease. Stepping back up, I prefer to use him underneath. (3) B YOYO is usually good for a smaller share racing at this level.
Race 11 – NW $5,000 L5 or $11,000 L10
(6) BETTOR OPS N improved last time, now he gets to drop again, and he should be tough to beat in here. Expect a more aggressive drive from Hudon. (2) HP NAPOLEON also gets to drop, and he gets his nose on the gate this time which should promote a quicker start; using. (3) LARRYS PETROCK had no chance trying to gain in a quick final 1/4 racing in the slop. He should be closer here. (8) WHITE HAIR ROCKS is another class-dropper that should improve, but starting from out there, I’ll use him underneath. (10) CINNABAR DRAGON can sit a trip and work his way into the High-5.
