Race 1 – CLM HDCP $12,000 to $15,000 - **$50K GTD Pick 5**
(3) BAROSSA BLUE GENES wheels right back into action coming off a win Thursday night when claimed and he gets top billing here if he goes. (5) JULERICA should contend on the class drop here starting from a good post; using. (6) ZEN DA BALLYKEEL can make front quickly here then yield to race in the pocket again and that makes him a threat here. (2) ROYAL CANVAS has been finishing well in his recent miles and he has an upset chance here if he is in range at the head of the lane.
Race 2 – NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10
(5) PINK PISTOL raced well with McClure driving last week but she was no match for a big chalk that was dropping several class levels. She looks solid here. (9) YOOOUKILIS hasn’t missed the board in a while but from post nine he might be battling to get 2nd here against the choice. (3) SETANTA’s good late kick should play well here for at least a share. (6) OCEANVIEW DEB has been passing horses late. She can come of for a small share in this spot.
Race 3 – CLM HDCP $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $82,000 LT
(2) GO RRRILLA is on a roll now and he should be tough here as he goes for three straight wins. (7) STELIOS faces easier here as he moves from a claiming handicap and he should be a top contender vs. these. (3) CROSS MY MIND comes back quick here and if he can land in the pocket, he may spring an upset. (1) LEADER TONIGHT raced okay in the snow last week. He can get another good following trip here and take a slice.
Race 4 –F&M CLM HDCP $8,000 to $10,000 - **$50K GTD Pick 4**
(5) E R RHONDA was game in defeat in the snow and she had a tougher trip than (7) LDL GEM who beat her a head last week. But I’ll use both on multi-race tickets. (6) SHARKS SUMMRSHANDY drops in for a tag and picks up driver Roy. She is worth a look in this spot. (9) DOCS SAUSALITO took some surprising action last week and she was good, but she gets the worst post here and I’ll use her on the bottom only.
Race 5 – CLM HDCP $8,000 to $10,000
(8) TOXICITY gets a trainer switch here coming off a win where he was out a long way and kept rolling. Call to repeat. (1) CASIMIR OVERDRIVE won, was claimed, now draws well racing in the same class; using. (9) E L WILD SPIRIT is usually in the mix, but this post makes it tough for him to take more than a small share. (6) BRINGHOME THEBLUE has good form since returning from a break and he can come on late for a small share.
Race 6 – F&M CLM $15,000 for NW $50,000 LT
(2) AKITA BAYAMA will be the one to catch here in this short field and I see her converting as the chalk. (7) DREAMFAIR ZENFIRE was closing at the choice last week but now she gets her nose on the gate to start. She may turn the tables here. (6) MISS KABANA disappointed racing in the snow last time. She could improve sharply here; consider for the Pick 4. (1) PAZZA HANOVER should get a decent trip here and land in the Super.
Race 7 – NW $18,500 and $28,000 L10 or NW 7 or $120,000 LT or NW1 in 2018-19 AE: OPT CLM $40,000
(7) SUPER SCHISSEL has been facing the best sophomore trotters on the continent most of the year and he should be tough in here if he stays trotting. (9) HEY LIVVY has won form out here before and she is capable of a big speed try regardless of post; using. (2) ON A SUNNY DAY has improving form and she could pop at a price here moving up in class. (5) WINDSUN REVENGE has more than enough class for these but this is his first start in 19 months and I’ll watch him once.
Race 8 – CLM HDCP $18,000 to $25,000
(1) CHEAPSKATE HANOVER goes for Auciello off the claim here which continues to be a potent angle at this track, and he gets the nod in this short field. (6) ALLSTAR SEELSTER is another who races off the claim here for a barn that has a high strike rate in the first start after making the new acquisition. (7) BROOKLETSJUSTIFIED excelled in the snow last week, but he should be prominent throughout again here. (5) JAYDENS PLACE is worth a look racing off the claim for an outfit that has been acquiring a lot of horses in the past few days
Race 9 – NW $27,000 L5 or NW $150,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $60,000
(6) ON THE ROPES just keeps winning and this is a spot where he has a good chance to take his fifth win in a row; top call. (5) B YOYO was held at bay by the choice last time, but he is sharp and dangerous, and I’ll use him in this Pick 4. (7) SORTIE raced well in the top class last time and he is capable if he can get in range by the 3/4 pole; using. (4) FREE WILLY HANOVER races tough every week and he should round out the Tri or Super in this spot.
Race 10 – NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10
Tough race to end this late Pick 4. (2) BILLS FELLA has been facing much tougher and while his recent form hasn’t been great, he is the most likely winner of this race on paper. (6) SELLINGTHEDREAM N showed more speed last week when racing in the snow and he could pop here now in a race that seems to lack gate speed. (4) MR MACH JIMMY finishes on the edges frequently; use him on the bottom of Tris and Supers. (5) BEACH PRO should leave in the top five and that should translate to him taking a share here. (10) INDIGO ART should be passing a few of these late; consider for High-5 bets.
