Race 1
(8) BRICKMAN gamely dug in to reach up right on the wire when claimed. He should be tough right back racing out of the Moreau barn. (9) ROCKABELLA has been racing decently in some good races out of town and he's worth a look here at a price. (2) REAL WICKED moves back inside and probably gets a dry track this time. Expect improvement. (10) TOMY TERROR also may do better on a dry track, but post makes it tough on him; small share predicted.
Race 2
(3) TREASURED TEE beat a few of these handily last week and returning to the same class he looks mighty tough at a short price. (4) CANTABERNET may be closer to the choice here if he leaves and secures the pocket immediately, which looks very possible. (6) CHEATALOTPOV will be closing late as usual, but the choice may be long gone at that point. (5) PLAYED BY SWAN frequently takes smaller shares; consider using underneath.
Race 3
(5) VEYRON was 2nd to a sharp mare who was racing out of a hot barn last time and he fits well here. I'll give him a slight nod over (7) BLONDE MAGIC who is obvious on paper but has missed a month's action which is concerning. (8) DR SPENGLER was ready for a big effort last week and although he moves up here, I'll use him in this Pick 4 off that performance. (1) MAJESTIC MARVEL has been sharp for a few weeks and he's not out of this although a smaller share seems likely.
Race 4
(3) OSIRIS BLUE CHIP finished fast in both starts for Vanderkemp and he seems to fit well here; top call. (9) REAL WILLEY tried the inside route last week and there was no room to be had for the entire stretch drive. The bigger field may help him because there was zero flow in that short field last week with everyone waiting for the horse in front of them to move. (10) JDCYRIL shoots for four straight here and it may be tough from out there, but he's hard to toss with his good form. (8) ROYAL COURTIER races much better in claimers and he is another that could get the job done here.
Race 5
(1) CUE HALL stands a good chance to repeat here using the same approach starting from the same post. (2) FREE WILLY HANOVER was a bit unlucky last week when the horse that beat him was able to ride the inside route the whole way and get up right on the line. He is one of the top contenders here. (4) APRIL ROSE let the choice get the jump on her last week then she couldn't track him down. The barn continues to run hot and she's not out of this. (3) TRY TRY AGAIN looks for three straight coming off a win where he rode the inside to victory. I prefer to use him underneath here.
Race 6
(2) CHEYENNE FORD was game racing into the wind last week when claimed and he steps up but goes for a sharp barn; slight nod. (7) COMPANY MAN was simply paced off his feet by the classy Lisvinnie last week, but that was still a strong effort and he rates highly here. (8) REGIL TIGER has recaptured his best form and he's hard to leave out right now. (6) LEVY TAYLORE is worth a look for the exotics racing off the claim.
Race 7
(2) SIX FLAGS goes for the Fine barn off the claim and will likely be a price here moving out of claimers. I'll take a swing with him in a race where I don't have a strong opinion. (4) AVATARTIST faces easier and gets his favorite driver back. A big speed try could be coming here. (3) UNDRAFTED drops to the bottom and he should be heard from at this level although he may get overbet. (6) CABLE BEACH A was close racing at this level a couple of times and he is another to consider for the Pick 4s.
Race 8
(3) MONI JUSTICE seems to be coming around now and she may be able to chase the leaders down this time. (6) MASSMADE gets a notable barn change here and he could make his presence felt despite moving out of claimers. (7) GISELE TREELANE was held together somewhat down the lane last week until she broke nearing the wire. She is capable but risky. (4) CINDY LYNN was no match for the strong winner last time, but she has a great record and she should take a slice here.
Race 9
(2) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ improved last week starting from the inside and his late speed was much better. A top try could be coming here. (2) THINK AGAIN could only close mildly with Lisvinnie pacing a strong mile up front last week. He fits better here, and he should be heard from. (6) MUSSELSFRMBRUSSELS got the job done in a weak conditioned field, but with that confidence builder under his belt, he could be tough right back here. (4) JIMMY BE GOOD is a great one to use to round out your Super bets.
Race 10
(4) ST JAMES GATE has clearly found his best stride and he will be hard to hold off here if he gets a decent trip. (1) MUSICAL RHYTHM should be better moving in nine posts and he has more options this time; using. (5) WHISKEY TAX is having a good year in terms of taking shares and checks and he can hit the board here starting from a good post. (6) OLE JACK MAGIC steps up to face much tougher here off a win last week, but he should pass a few late and take a slice. (9) JUSTASMALLTOWNGIRL also faces tougher but with her strong recent form she figures to be a factor.
