Race 1
This might be the toughest card I have seen all year, but let's kick it off with (4) SALUTATION who improved sharply racing here last week and may be primed to break her maiden in this spot. (1) CHARMBO BRIE was a game winner and her sub-28 kickers are hard to overlook. (6) PRINCESS LAYLA got pounded at the windows twice straight and didn't deliver. She may be sent on a speed mission here. (2) FRESH EYES can tag along and take a share.
Race 2
(5) HLDONTGHTTOYURDRMS was in a qualifier for both horse and driver on October 9th, so I take the result with a grain of salt. He has the speed and class to compete here if ready. (6) BLAMEITONTHEWHISKY got closer last time. Respect his improving from. (1) MAJESTIC MYSTIC is capable in this spot and he'll be a good price mostly due to the public's aversion to betting his obscure driver. (4) LETS LEAVEM should leave hard then stick around for a share.
Race 3
(4) GREEN POINT was all business when given the word go by Brown last week; call to repeat. (2) THAT'S INCREDIBLE had no response for the choice but she remains a viable contender here. (1) HIGHMOON SUNSHINE was outgamed late but she too is another who can take this with the right trip. (6) ERIKAS SHADOW should be winding up at the head of the lane and passing a few rivals.
Race 4
(8) SNEEKER HANOVER steps up off a blowout win and the outer post shouldn't pose an issue; call to repeat. (7) ALERT HANOVER faces easier here and he should be heard from. (6) CINDY LYNN has been sharp in both Mohawk Park miles and she certainly wouldn't be a shock here. (3) CANTABERNET is always around the money at this level. I'll use him underneath here.
Race 5
(7) MUSSELSFRMBRUSSELS raced better for McNair last time and he sticks with him; another chance. (9) NOTETOSELF HANOVER overcame some swift fractions last time and he should be a good price here again; using. (5) THE LOAN ranger can race close to the front and stick around for a slice. (2) DRAKE has some decent form out of town, but he missed some time; small share predicted.
Race 6
(5) GISELE TREELANE made a threatening move in the third quarter last week then faltered which should set her up for a good try vs. lesser here. (4) OLE JACK MAGIC is a cagey veteran who has won here many times in the past. He figures here. (1) ZEUS LIGHTNING drops and he should wake up with a better effort in this spot. (6) SCARY GOOD could be rallying for a slice. Use on the bottom of Tris and Supers.
Race 7
(4) JENKINS CREEK can come right back and repeat vs. these racing on or close to the lead. (10) CHEYENNE FORD was game in defeat to a heavy chalk, but post could be an issue here. (3) PODGE ships in with good form and gets a positive driver change. He could upset with a trip. (1) STREAKAVANA is nothing close to what he was as a two-year-old, but he can grab a share vs. these.
Race 8
(2) STORMONT CHARLOTTE faces elders here but if she can produce a similar effort as she did winning the Grassroots final, she could be tough in here. (1) MONI JUSTICE has been hinting at better form. Perhaps she'll get a better start here which would help. (4) MISS JUBILEE HILL is another sophomore in with a decent chance here. Leaving a bit would help her cause. (5) DR SPENGLER brings a great record in for a trainer that can send one ready. Tab the tote for clues.
Race 9
(1) HP PANDORA moves inside, and she couldn't have spent much energy last week. Expect a more aggressive try here. (5) ART ANGEL BABY doesn't win often, but she projects to get a good trip near the front here; using. (2) LEAVING A LEGACY comes off a sharp Flamboro effort and she could trip well here and stay for a share. (7) JUSTABIT MEAN will be closing late, likely finishing on the edges again.
Race 10
(2) BEACHIN LINDY can beat these if he minds his manners; slight nod. (4) PHANTOM SEELSTER's October 4th qualifier was excellent. He should be a factor here. (3) TIGERS WAY is still stuck on zero wins this year, but he should be coming late to take a slice vs. these. (8) E L WILD SPIRIT improved racing in this class last time. He isn't out of the question here. (9) A FARMBOYS SUCCESS also raced decently in this class, but post hurts here; small share predicted.
