Race 1

(1) CAMS TUX won for the first time in several years last week and most will think he won’t repeat which should mean he’ll bring a good price. I’ll stick with him here. (7) LATE NIGHT drops and gets McNair which quite often is the recipe for success; using. (4) BRICKMAN also drops and he should be heard from here. (8) TOMY TERROR might last longer here in a spot where he could clear quickly and get a breather.

Race 2

I’ll look at some of the better drivers in this Amateur race and put (10) EXTRAPOLATE on top. Olford, with a lifetime win percentage close to 17%, should put this gelding into the race. (9) ETERNAL QUEST has speed and a driver that is perfect in making the exacta so far this year in limited drives. (4) CLOUD NINE HANOVER could be the best horse in here, but his driver is winless this year; your call. (2) LIAM NEEDSOME is a good one to use on the bottom of Tris/Supers.

Race 3

(5) CARLISIMO’s race two back vs. Century Farroh would win this if he can replicate it. (3) CAPITANO ITALIANO comes off a sharp win and he’s dangerous right back. (6) MANTARIO is hard to figure at times, but his form is improved and he should be passing some of these down the lane. (4) BETTER MOONON OVER is better than he showed last time and he should be racing up close here.

Race 4

(7) BETTER THAN SOME was too far back last time, but he gets McClure back here and he can beat these with a more aggressive steer. (3) AMERICAN RISK delivered as a heavy chalk last week and he should be a big player here too. (1) QUATRAIN BLUE CHIP qualified well coming off a break and he is another who can take this with a trip. (4) GAMBLINGTERROR raced okay here in September; consider for exotics.

Race 5

(4) MUSSELSFROMBRUSSELS showed nothing last week but switching to McNair may wake him up; slight nod. (1) MACHS BEACH BOY tripped-out for a win at Flamboro but he could get a nice following trip here too; using. (5) REBEL VOYAGER won with a huge late rally last time he raced in this class; beware. (7) CITY OF THE YEAR rallied late last time with the pace slowing. I can see him closing late for a smaller slice.

Race 6

(10) VEYRON interestingly moves to a new trainer here and I’ll take a swing at a price. (4) TREASURED TEE set the pace in the Old Oaken Bucket, but the ones that passed him were too tough. He should be right in the mix here. (5) CANTABERNET has won twice in this class recently. He’s not out of this. (3) MONI JUSTICE should be closing late again and she isn’t impossible for the win, but she needs everything to fall her way.

Race 7

(7) KAZIMOTO gets to drop for his second start back and I expect a better result. (9) MCDAVE was game in defeat in a quick mile and he may be the one to beat here. (8) SAGEBRUSH SID has some potential coming off a good try; using underneath. (6) CAPTAIN DRAGON passed some horses late in a quick mile and he could be closer vs. these.

Race 8

(5) JENKINS CREEK gets a notable driver change here and immediate improvement is likely. (1) OUTLAW GUNPOWDER is at the top of his form cycle and he should be a factor here; using. (9) REAL WICKED drops back to the level where he won and was claimed. He isn’t out of the question vs. these. (8) NEXT ISSUE failed when claimed and now he moves into a new barn. Another small share is likely here.

Race 9

(6) HIGHLANDBEACHYCOVE comes in off a very fast win over Flamboro and the Cullen barn has been heating up lately; top call. (7) DRUNKONAPLANE raced okay in this class last time and he could threaten here if he gets moving earlier. (2) TERO was also decent in the same race and has taken 28 slices in the past two years; using underneath. (5) WESTERN PASSAGE was close to the choice last time, but that was off a great trip and he still couldn’t reach; small share predicted.

Race 10

(7) SHRIMP AND GRITS – a $17K Harrisburg buy – is related to several winners and goes for a barn that sends them ready; slight nod. (4) ATLANTIS will take lots of play exiting the Metro Consolation and he should be close here. (8) CASSIUS has hinted at some talent and he’s another I’ll use in this Pick 4. (1) BETTER THAN BOOTS can follow along and close late to make the ticket again.

Race 11

(6) P L IDAHO should beat these if he repeats anything close to last week’s effort when facing tougher. (7) JAYDENS PLACE may find these easier and he could add some value to the exotics. (3) SPEEDLING regularly hits the ticket racing in this class. That trend should continue here. (1) SENGA NITRO should go better starting from the inside; using underneath. (2) BROOKDALE SONNY should be forwardly placed early which gives him a chance to share.
