POINTTO SWEET LOU (NW2) was in tight quarters trying to rally between horses, got clear late and closed well but was guilty of pushing his way out of the traffic and dq'ed from third.
GIRL SCOUT COOKIE (GRASSROOTS) left to the lead, yielded to the odds-on favorite, sat pocket at 38-1, kept close despite a quick third quarter and stayed game to the end to be second.
HEAVENS SHOWGIRL (NW12000FM) took the lead, yielded and was shuffled, sat the rail chasing quick numbers, rallied all out but was second best at the end. Beaten favorite can atone in next.
MORETHANMYHOMETOWN (GRASSROOTS) charged home from back of the pack and just missed in her semifinal at a whopping 40-1.

FASHION FRENZIE (OPN/HCP) trotter was parked to the lead, warded off the last quarter challenge of the pocket sitter and was a handy winner.
IDEAL PERCEPTION (NW12000) closed strong from third over to gain 3rd place at 34-1 and bears watching.
CODENAME CIGAR BOX (PRF) sat last to the lane and rallied late and passed some foes charging home.
WOODMERE STEALDEAL (NW12000) tucked, brushed, set a pressed pace, dug in but was nailed in the last steps by his stablemate.

SPEAKER NANCY (OntSS) finished full of pace from 3rd over but was a few steps too late while being second best at the wire.
HOW THE HELL (NW2) tucked to the quarter, got shuffled a bit the final turn, slid out, got clear and finished with good trot.
HESINCONTROL (NW3000) certainly was as he crushed the field on a fast wire to wire romp.
