Thursday, September 15

BUTTERCUP (NW1/2YOF) went down the road and won under own power and can take another.

SMASHIN RAQUETS (NW1/2YO) trotter finished with good rally between horses in last to be second best at 90-1.

WATCH A PRO (NW1) sat to the rear at nearly 27-1, finished strong and was up for 2nd to tripped-out pocket-sitting winner.

TRION DE VIE (CLM15000) brushed and crushed in latest as the odds-on favorite and should take another.

TOUGHSONOFABEACH (CLM15000) rallied strongly up the rail at 36-1 to nailed second and was claimed and could come out roaring for new connections.

Friday, September 16

FULL DISCLOSURE (NW2) rushed to the lead, met final turn pressure, shook it off, dug in gamely at over 50-1 but nailed by the determined second-over winning favorite.

SPEAKER NANCY (W-6FM) sat to the rear, tossed in a :25 3/5 last panel to get up for 3rd and bears watching.

FAVORITE BEACH (NW1FM) yielded twice, sat pocket to the winning favorite and held well for second best.

GRAND POOBAH (POP) sat in, rallied late between horses and could get luckier in next race or two.

Saturday, September 17

CHARLESTON (GREATLDAY) closed stoutly to win in strong time and should be hard to beat in next.

SAVED AMERICA (METRO) won his elimination with uncovered challenge in quick time and should be the one to beat.

WARRAWEE XENIA (3YOF) finished full of trot putting up a :26 2/5 last panel. Beaten favorite had far to come and could atone in next.

MOMAS SON BYRNE (NW3) opened eyes with big stretch rally just missing by a head and posting a :25 3/5 last quarter.

Monday, September 19

SIR GALAHAD (CLMHCP85/10000) went down the road to score impressively for new connections and should give it another try.

PENCILS DOWN (NW2) beaten favorite was 4th over in the final turn, finished strongly but had too far to come.

ALL ABOUT ADDIE (NW2) was nowhere, showed some speed in the lane but stumbled and lost stride. Keep an eye on this one.

BETTOR NOTBITTER A (CLMHCP15/20000) finished well from third over in latest and bears watching.

JULERICA (CLMHCP22/30000) veteran campaigner wired the field and got claimed. Sounds familiar.

Tuesday, September 20

BETTER SUNSET (NW1) sat pocket in tight quarters, slipped out but it was too late to fire his best shot.

UP JOEYS CREDIT (NW1) put in a solid front-end effort holding to the last steps when the favorite launched his late rush.

KAMERAN HANOVER (NW3400) trotter got away well, got shuffled back and was forced to make a long brush to the lead and dug in but was headed at the wire by the pocket sitting winner.

BEACH FRIEND (NW1/2YO) rallied best from too far back in latest and could surprise.
