CENTURY KOMODO (GRASSROOTS) rallied late and fast from nowhere to just miss and would be no surprise in next.

RED SKY TONIGHT (CLM15000FM) had poor cover but flashed some good late foot. Do not ignore in next.

T M MCMURRY (GRASSROOTS) was a handy down the road winner in last and should be tough to catch with similar effort.

Friday, September 8

ENOLA (NW2) tucked early, pulled uncovered to the half at 14-1 and was second best to the late-closing prohibitive favorite.

SNOW SHARK (NW16000FM) showed no interest to the final turn, rallied with good pace from a distant 5th over and should be considered.

NOTHING BETTOR (NW1) beaten favorite closed too late to just miss and can atone with better trip or early rally.

OCCASIONALLY SHARP (NW2FM) was parked the mile and dueled with the pacesetting odds-on favorite to the lane before tiring.

HIGHLANDBETTOR (NW8700) veteran tucked at the quarter, pulled uncovered and chased his odds-on stablemate all the way home second best at the end.

Saturday, September 9

TROUBLES A BREWIN (GRASSROOTS) closed well from second-over to just miss in latest and deserves a long look in next.

LIVINTHEBEACHLIFE (NW22000) was first to the top, yielded and was shuffled, sat three-hole looking for room during the stretch but never had time to fire best shot.

NO FREE LUNCH (NW14000) had poor cover but closed strong once into the lane but was too late.

AMERICAN HISTORY (NW14000) took the lead quickly, yielded for the pocket, closed late and just missed.

Monday, September 11

MAKE OUT WITH ME (GRASSROOTS) closed well from second over to be second best to the late-rushing odds-on favorite.

HESINCONTROL (NW4900) closed strongly from third over to just miss the odds-on favorite in most recent.

T H JACKIES LEGACY (GRASSROOTS) just missed in late rush at over 40-1 in last attempt.

HERVEY HANOVER (NW2100) put in a quick front-stepping score in latest. Will probably be facing better in next but may be fast enough to take another.

Tuesday, September 12

IM JACK OF HEARTS (CLMHCP25/36000) tucked at the quarter, pulled to the half and was blindswitched a long way, ducked in heading home, found the rail avoiding a breaker, rallied gamely but tired near the wire. Beaten favorite can atone with better trip.

STORMONT CHEERIO (GRASSROOTS) was off slowly, sat to the back, rallied from far back heading home and passed all but the prohibitive favorite.

R NO MERCY (GRASSROOTS) broke before the start, settled to the rear, rallied to the third call to get back in the race second over in the final turn, got up for third in game comeback effort.

GRATEFUL (NW2200) followed wide the final turn into the lane with good finish and bears watching.
