NIGHT WATCHMAN (NW1) tucked early, raced third over, rallied wide but too late. Beaten favorite could get luckier in next.
MISSION BAY (NW7000/2YO) went to the top, yielded, got shuffled, brushed to the top and proved best.
COOL ROCK (NW3000) well-seasoned vet closed best from third over and should never be overlooked.
Friday, September 6
CATCH AN ACE (NW7000FM) closed gamely from second-over following weak cover. Beaten favorite can atone.
WINDSONGMMAGNIFIQUE (NW7000FM) finished best but late from third-over and earns a look in next.
YOUAREMYCANDYGIRL (PRF/FM) brushed to the lead, set a good clip and held well crushing the variant in the process.
BRIGHT EYES M (SIMCOE) tucked, got shuffled, finished well once clear in the lane.
Saturday, September 7
DRAGON TIME (NW11000) rushed to the top, yielded, got shuffled, rallied gamely at over 30-1 to earn a long look in next race or two.
CAPT MIDNIGHT (CHAMPLAIN) 2YO romped in last and will be hard to beat in next race or two.
ROCK THIS WAY (NW7500) sat far back, rallied wide and fast but it was too much to ask.
AMERICAN SARA (NW11000FM) put in a solid down the road effort in last and was nailed by the second-over late-closing favorite.
Monday, September 9
BALDER SON (OntS) well-bet second choice came uncovered, tucked the open pocket and chased the odds-on favorite home narrowing the margin but missed by a half.
ARSENAL SEELSTER (CLMHCP10/15000) closed strong from third over to just miss on a night when speed was holding.
ODDS ON AMETHYST (NW6000) closed best of all from an impossible spot and should not be ignored.
TEAM BEST (NW2/2YO) yielded twice, sat pocket and rallied gamely at 8-1 but was second best.
Tuesday, September 10
HEY LIVVY (NW10000) finished very fast to win going away on a night made for speed. Won prior on the front end.
IDEATION HANOVER (GRASSROOTS) tucked, brushed and humbled foes in romp. Filly should win again and perhaps again.
TWIN B TIPSTER (GRASSROOTS) well-bet second choice rallied strong from third over but the pacesetting favorite had gotten away.
I GOT THE LOOKS (2YO) was parked to the top, yielded, sat pocket and closed gamely narrowing the gap but missed by a half to the favorite.
